A 60-year-old woman died after being arrested for trespassing. Knoxville Tennessee Police have released more than an hour of body camera video of the arrest of Lisa Edwards. Edwards was discharged from Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center on February 5, and allegedly refused to leave the property. Hospital security called the police to remove her. Video shows Edwards insisting she was unwell and needed medical attention. Responding officers did not believe her. She died the next day.

    • Let me guess… She went to the hospital for some fake made up reason, that way she could receive meds. After that failed and they said she could leave now, she wouldn’t leave and continued to bug and harass other doctors and patients. Hospital staff called the police to remove her. Then police took her to the van and she started to have a stroke, seeming as she was checked out by hospital staff not to long ago, and she was already faking reasons to be there and didn’t want to leave they didn’t believe her. She was also probably on something. Now I don’t know all this for sure but this stuff happens a lot more than you think in hospitals and this is what happens 90% of the time ( not including having a real stroke ). So why should the hospital be held accountable? And the police I admit weren’t being very professional but you can’t blame them their job sucks, and they have probably had to do this a billion times before

    • If this is true then sounds like the cops shouldn't get any of the blame. If they can't diagnose someone then they can't say whether or not she was faking or having a real seizure and must follow out their orders of removing the woman from the property. A cop legally cannot ignore their duty to arrest someone when it's given as an order, unless the person is experiencing a medical emergency. So since you're saying a cop cannot tell if someone is having a medical emergency, aka a diagnosis, then according to you the cops did nothing wrong. Also, according to your logic, EMT's will not be aloud to interfere either as the average EMT does not need a degree.

  • There was a case that occurred in July of 2022 that is way more gruesome & sadder than the death of Lisa Edwards and Abby Choi and it’s the sad death of James Rayl. The cold blooded murder of a beloved 22 year old named James Rayl. James Rayl who was 22 years old loved cars, basketballs, wealth, and changing people’s lives. The dad in his 50s who murdered James Rayl back in July 2022 must be apprehended, convicted, and must face the DP in Ohio for the awful crime. So basically the dad, daughter, and mother must be apprehended for their awful participation in murdering a beloved person to so many named James D. Rayl. James Rayl cause of death is more gruesome than any other person could imagine. At age 22, he had so much to live for.
