  • Baez’ best days were when he was with the cubs! So fun to watch!

  • Oof, I nearly forgot about that leaping, non-consensual cut-off from Arenado to get the tag out at third. That's some insane baseball IQ. Good thing his teammates were there to keep up.

  • My big moment in grade school baseball was playing Right Field, acting confused, and carrying the ball I just caught to the baseline. I wasn't sure of my accuracy while throwing it to the Catcher, and the Runner on Third became confused and stopped while people were yelling for him to run Home. Finally, I stopped and threw. Out at Home.

  • I made a diving play in CF for our summer league, and the umpire was the only other one to see that I just missed the ball, rolling over it instead. We managed to pull off an 8-4-3 double play for that

    • So the batter draws a walk and goes to first base. The runners on first and second advance. The runner that moved from second to third touched the base then stepped off to talk to his coach. The catcher saw it and threw to the third baseman behind the runner to tag out the runner (who was not on the base) out.
