Dude fought a prime, pre-knee injury Santos on short notice. Now he's fighting another stone cold killer, Chimaev, on one day's notice. There are guys who say anyone, anywhere, anytime. Holland actually does it. Respect. That said, Chimaev despite the weight cut fiasco already is booked as a 6-to-1 favorite. Nightmare matchup for Holland. Likely to end with Holland choked out into the ghost club. But Chimaev really fumbled the ball. Beating Holland is not even half as valuable to Chimaev as the easy win over Nate would have been.
Tbf to Kevin I don’t think khamzat has fought someone as unique as Kevin. That length and agility may really give khamzat problems on the feet and who knows maybe khamzat is the guy Kevin finally learns how to get up from bottom on. Hes not bad when he’s on the ground he’s just really bad at being able to get up. If khamzat decides to stand and bang at all like he did in the Gilbert fight then he can definitely get rocked. I’d personally say this fight is a toss up because Holland is just a naturally bigger guy whose been dominated by guys bigger than khamzat at 185(Brunson, vettori) not really the ones at 170. Khamzat is kind of a tiny middleweight so maybe Holland doesn’t get moved like most of us think.
I swear every few weeks that pass my respect for Kevin flies up. He's really that dude, idc what anyone says about the guy

Also Jacare beat Randy Couture in a grappling match, prime Jacare was one of the best Middleweight fighters ever.
