Honestly I feel the most sad for Li. Saved the card by accepting a fight with someone 10 ponds heavier, didn’t get to show off his suit, disrespected, lost a co-main event spot, and arguably got robbed in his fight. Terrible. EDIT: D-Rod took Leeches number 14 rank and now Li Jingliang is unranked. The loss counted even though D-Rod was 10 pounds heavier. Totally fair.

Holland cut weight, Holland prepared for a striker while Khamzat ate and drank and had a jolly of a time. A world class performance would've been not to shoot when Holland tried to touch gloves. so far he’s shown that he doesn’t get intimidated by anyone really. fought a war against burns and still kept coming forward at a crazy pace the entire fight and finished everyone else with near flawless victories. his wrestling and grappling essentially nullifies anyone’s striking abilities and he forces everyone to go into defense mode instantly. i would love to see a fight with him against colby or costa next but i think they will end the same. the first few rounds he spends most of his energy but those are almost impossible to survive for fighters. burns must be just another level of a fighter to go the full distance with him.

i think its because burns is the perfect matchup for khamzat since khamzat cant use wrestling to his full extent against burns (cautious of BJJ) not one fighter in 170/185 has BJJ close to burns or grappling on Khamzats level however i do believe that if he loses it will be through gassing out after his opponent survives 2 rounds

I think khamzat is the only wrestler whose wrestling is as entertaining to watch as stand up fights cuz usually people only like to see stand up brawl but with khamzat even his ground game are entertaining to watch.
To say khamzat has done a heel turn is an understatement. Maybe it works out for him. And hopefully the UFC doesn't completely devolve into the WWF.

Basic Catch wrestling done right is a beautiful thing to watch.
What's really crazy is that Holland isn't bad on the ground. Yet that was a complete massacre. Chimaev is a bigger version of Khabib with far more speed too. There's nobody at 185 who can deal with that level of wrestling and submission skills. 170 isn't even fair.

Seems like khamzat was done dirty by UFC doctors Apparently he was close to cutting but doctors told him he needs to stop cutting and needs to eat and drink for his health which increased the difference

Best thing for Diaz was not having to fight Khamzat. Card was improved by it and we didn’t have to see Diaz get mauled.
All the hard dedication and grueling training that Holland and his whole camp put in to prepare for a fight, and not one single person told him to make sure not to touch gloves a 2nd time after the ref face-off? Unbelievable.

After the Gilburt Burns fight i knew no one is gonna stop this man in ww and mw. That fight was so impressive, I've never witnessed anyone on that level before that. This fight was as expected.
