Joana was always fun to watch. She rarely had any boring fights. Too bad she’s retiring. She’s definitely one of the best in the womens division.

i cant wait to see her post nudes.

Like a true warrior, she died on her sword. Amazing performance and an amazing career. Thank you for all you have given us. You will continue to be an inspiration for generations to come.
i think the breast implants ultimately led to her demise
She rests in Valhalla now
Not sure if you can compare her to a real warrior dying on a sword but yeah. She fought good with gloves
@@theoneinthemiddle5553 have you ever fought in a war. quickly.
@@flicfan416 doesn't matter. Mma isn't a battle for life and death. you can't compare the two. I don't have to be a master duelist and sword expert to know the difference. I'm not a vet but I know the difference between a Rottweiler and a Doberman.
Awe, Bless her heart. You can definitely tell she had alot of heart competing. I wish her nothing but the best in the future. And she will definitely be missed. I've really enjoyed watching her fight over the years. God Bless you Joanna and Best wishes. 💙💚💜💛❤️🖤
Was hard to watch this without dropping tears, long live legend
Legends never die. Thanks for a great career JJ!
True
False
Looks like she cares more about her dating life than fighting
@@braveinternetguy good for her
@@braveinternetguy oh just stfu and move on if you have nothing smart to say. Woman just retired so celebrate the moment instead of your shitty negativity
One of the all-time greats. I was a bit unsure about Woman's MMA at first but watching her fight for the first time changed my opinion entirely. Will miss watching her compete.
An all time great? Thanks for the laugh! I needed it this weekend! Lol
@@michaelneilvalencia2205 yes, there is no long history in women mma in the ufc and she help to make it more popular, by wining and put exciting fight
@@michaelneilvalencia2205 she was 14-0 at one point and had 5 title defenses. If ronda could make it in the HOF i have no doubt joanna can
Looks like she cares more about her dating life than fighting
@@braveinternetguy I mean she 34 and women have a biological clock for a healthy natural birth. So they get atleast a little slack for retiring early and trying to start a family
What a class act. She's never going to be forgotten. I wish her all the best and hope all of her dreams come true. We will all miss you, Joanna. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to this sport we all love so, so much.
She was never classy though. She always trash talked and disrespected her opponents. She has Conor and Rhonda toxic trash people vibes
A class act? Is this another joke that I'll find all the pleasure to laugh this weekend? Hahaha! Dude, JJ has been very disrespectful with her opponents in her whole career. She is definitely not a class act! But thanks for the laugh LOL
@@michaelneilvalencia2205 she is now, she was trying to sell fights and be the female Conor but Rose humbled her. She's not a bad person in real life or anything
Class act? You gotta be kidding me. There's ways to sell fights without crossing a line.
She was cocky and arrogant until she started getting battered now she's humble that's what happens when you get to big headed
I wished they hugged at the end that was very heartfelt and congrats to an amazing champion on her retirement I wish her nothing but the best!
Joanna is an emotional person......like her or not, her pre fight hype often got more people viewing her fights. She always gives her all and I wish her much success in her life.......she deserves it.....she has earned it. Classy lady and great fighter. Thank You Joanna Jedrzejczyk for all the great fight performances and all the great interviews and looks into your life. You ARE so full of life and a joy to all those around you.
Lol everyone emotinonal she just real enough to show it
The same thing they love you for when you win is the same thing they hate you for when you lose, she is a great
So happy she got ktfo 😆
WHAT A LEGEND. SHE GAVE US THE BEST WOMENS FIGHT OF ALL TIME VS WEILI
She technically won that one too. Based on numbers. Both are great fighters
@@blackheartbev3098 I always thought JJ won the first fight.
Not true, but ok
@@mmaconnected2466 You're right, it was one of the best MMA fights period.
No, rose vs Carla was the best womens fight of all time
"Yeah, the beauty and the PAIN of this sport" Man, Megan Olivi is a seriously great interviewer
Maaan got me teary eyed over here. I saw Joanna LIVE in Dallas TX in 2015 when she won the title. From there the Joanna reign began…The passion/drive, high volume striking, insane cardio….She was so special to watch and she put so much work behind the scenes into being great. I hate seeing her go. It is a reminder that life is fragile and time slows down for no one. Congrats on everything Joanna!!
Heartbreaking to see you go Joanna Champion 😓 I loved her style from her first fight with Juliana Lima and knew she'd eventually earn a title with her clinical, aggressive muay Thai. To me she's the female goat, we can all have our opinions, some will say Ronda, Amanda or Cyborg but for me it's definitely JJ. She earned this retirement after 15+ years in combat sports and I'm happy for her in that regard. She can finally relax 🙏
Nobody says Ronda.. Valentina, cyborg or Amanda
Valentina is clearly the GOAT.
Hard to read this 5th grade paragraph, I stopped at Ronda lol that girl was pure hype lmmfao 😂😂🤣🤣
@@joydivsion77 I think so too but only prob is Amanda has is 2-0 over her
@@joydivsion77 one of em for sure but she also had a really close call tonight, almost got dethroned herself
Any fighter considering retirement, should do just that. It's called the hurt business for a reason. Big respect for Joanna. She's all time.
Hi Dana
Hi Brandon
@@Marvin1546 hi mr. Yamasaki
If your passion to compete is no longer there, its best to retire.
Not gonna lie, she made me cry
1:08 , Joanna you did well! One of the greatest to ever do it! Congratulations Zhang Weili,I love youuu❤️🥂
Hall of Fame! She is a living Legend! 👊 🔥
Yeah for that head after Zhang beat the breaks off her
With all due respect to her? Why hall of fame?
@@ciscogaspar07 ARE YOU REALLY ASKING A DUMB QUESTION LIKE THAT?!
One of the greats for sure, always came with 100 percent passion and intensity. If you follow her Instagram you'll know she's living a great life, and will have a blessed future for sure. Great to see the love Megan has for Joanna too, struggling to hold it together herself, even though she's a consumate pro.
At one point she was unstoppable I never thought there would be anyone that could beat her. What a great career. Congrats on retirement and the things to come!
She was and I felt the same way but that window shuts for everybody though. Best wishes to her, she has nothing left to prove and hope she enjoys the next chapter in life and motherhood even moreso than before.
Thanks for a great fight tonight and such a great interview you had my eyes glued to to screen the whole time, so entertaining!
Been watching her so long tonight felt nostalgic Joanna you made me love mma thank you ✊
She's such a good fighter.. I don't think she is beyond her prime. I will miss you Joanna Champion!
Yeah she is.. she’s done and needs to retire. She’s been beaten how many times since she lost her belt? Exactly
@@stevenbaker8903 how many belts you got
@@stevenbaker8903 That's because she has been facing the best fighters in the world... She always puts herself in a chance to beat them and makes them earn their belt as well. She isn't that beyond her prime and would beat anyone outside the contenders.
@@Mytowerisaneiffel how many belts do you have? 💀
@@stevenbaker8903 I hear you man. I just grow attached to fighters and their fight styles. It's selfish of me, but you're probably right.
This is so humbling and amazing. The best post career speech I've ever heard. So raw and real. To see her make peace with the changing season is the heart of a true champion. ❤❤🙏🙏☮☮ Bless you Joanna!!!
She’s so soft inside. She just covered herself in a tough shell to fight the game. Thank you Joanna you are a champion
Toughest people are the softest inside...I have seen people that ..saying this in a good way
She understood the assignment indeed 🙏🏽
Interesting how she started losing when she took on a personality that didn’t match the inside
Still reckon she’d have beat Carla which says a lot about the state of the current champ really.
I agree. I also think Wheili does too. And Rose if she’s given another shot (won’t happen). I still can’t believe Carla is the champ…there’s a few more Im not thinking of Im sure
@Brett M i forgot. Carla is a two time champ? Yikes…this isn’t good for womens mma…Khabib is right…
@@freecycle53215 JJ didn't just beat Carla. She outclassed and destroyed her, literally.

Very sad to see JJ leave! Her fights were always epic!🥺🥺
That crop top is championship level

Megan O did a great job on that interview and JJ was so genuine and endearing. Great post, thanks ESPN and congrats champ.
mad props for her, for not only retiring but also giving us in insight to what led to it and why. Not a lot of fighters would even speak to media after a loss. But for those who do, they gain a lot of supporters out there. Saying goodbye to a sport they love, any sport or even an activity you do is really difficult to do.
Impossible to not respect JJ. Thank you for all the entertainment
We will always love you JJ. Greetings from México 🇲🇽
Hope the best for her, she’s been a great asset to MMA. Nice job by Megan in the interview, very genuine and caring.
I have nothing but deep respect for Joanna as an amazingly skilled fighter, a passionate competitor and a very tough lady. She will always be an example of the best in MMA. I wish her the life of happiness and peace that she always worked so hard for. 👍🙏🏻

Thank you Joanna, it's been a blast. I wish you all the best en enjoy this next chapter in life.
When she says “that’s it this is the beauty of this sport” and starts tearing up. I think at that moment she realizes it’s over and she will miss it a lot.
Not like her post fight antics, but she always put out whole her heart in the fights till the bitter end, a real fighter and warrior! All the best in your second chapter of life, Joanna and thanks for all the great fights you gave us!
Always one of my favorites. It’s cool that she retired on her own terms and before she became a shell of her former self like a lot of older fighters. I have nothing but respect for her.
Thanks JJ for everything you've done in mma. Hopethe next chapter in your life is amazing.
Great career, become champion and defend 5 times..and give us great fights every time.. thank You champ.

Ufc staff is so good, so genuine you can tell this to actually have a personal relationship
we won't forget joanna. legendary reign and legendary person. she deserves to enjoy a life outside of this tough game.
Joanna's career was so phenomenal to watch from beginning to end and though it's bittersweet that she's retiring, this will be the best decision Joanna will ever make. She's earned her living, her fame and her brand, now she can enjoy the fruits of her labor and expand on what she can want to do in life without having to worry about weight cuts or putting her health in jeopardy ever again. This is the representation of a true competitor who took on tough challenges, win or lose, and she did this in two different weight divisions. Joanna was a real champion and someone with true humility when all the fight hype is over. She is everything Valentina Shevchenko pretends to be.
We appreciate you Joana !!thank you for the legendary carreer

joanna one of my fave fiters. classic war w weili, destructive title run, made attempt a division up. great career
take a bow JJ, one of the best to ever do it
Joanna is a beautiful woman and a fantastic fighter but there is more to life than a single sport. I think she will enjoy her new challenges in life. In this sport a single punch or kick landed well can end a fight instantly unfortunately for her that happened in this fight. She won many fights over her career with punches and kicks the same way. Joanna represented Poland well.
Beautiful?! Go to specsavers or get your glasses fixed
Beautiful 😂
Things went south went she went savage on Rose in the first fight. Great career and looked unbeatable as champ for a period there.
One of my all time favorite UFC Fighters! I wish her well in all future endeavors!
Wishing her nothing but the best in whatever she does next. Thank you for stepping into the octagon for our entertainment. 💪 🇵🇱
