  • Maaan got me teary eyed over here. I saw Joanna LIVE in Dallas TX in 2015 when she won the title. From there the Joanna reign began…The passion/drive, high volume striking, insane cardio….She was so special to watch and she put so much work behind the scenes into being great. I hate seeing her go. It is a reminder that life is fragile and time slows down for no one. Congrats on everything Joanna!!

  • Heartbreaking to see you go Joanna Champion 😓 I loved her style from her first fight with Juliana Lima and knew she'd eventually earn a title with her clinical, aggressive muay Thai. To me she's the female goat, we can all have our opinions, some will say Ronda, Amanda or Cyborg but for me it's definitely JJ. She earned this retirement after 15+ years in combat sports and I'm happy for her in that regard. She can finally relax 🙏

  • mad props for her, for not only retiring but also giving us in insight to what led to it and why. Not a lot of fighters would even speak to media after a loss. But for those who do, they gain a lot of supporters out there. Saying goodbye to a sport they love, any sport or even an activity you do is really difficult to do.

She's earned her living, her fame and her brand, now she can enjoy the fruits of her labor and expand on what she can want to do in life without having to worry about weight cuts or putting her health in jeopardy ever again.   • Joanna is a beautiful woman and a fantastic fighter but there is more to life than a single sport. I think she will enjoy her new challenges in life. In this sport a single punch or kick landed well can end a fight instantly unfortunately for her that happened in this fight. She won many fights over her career with punches and kicks the same way. Joanna represented Poland well.

  • a real LEGEND. Win or Lose, ALL her fights were fun to watch. She showed fans love. Was fun outside the cage and in interviews. JJ was great for the Sport. She got big and gained other interest in Life and that's a beautiful thing. Hopefully she has a Family like she said and enjoys her life

  • I loved watching Joana as a fighter. Winning and losing in the UFC can be like flipping a coin..both fighters could be the winner at any given moment with just a little luck. I wish her the best going forward.

  • I don’t really follow Joanna much so hearing her say she would like to race Dakar was a pleasant surprise. MMA and any kind of motorized racing are may favorites sports, good luck to her! Also, this is another classic example of why Megan Olivi is such a great reporter. She is very professional and clearly has passion for the sport.
