In this German B1 grammar lesson you will learn about relative clauses WITH prepositions. Prepositions with accusative or/and dative case and the sentence structure. Something which is actually very common used in daily life. In the beginning I will briefly explain the basics of a German relative clause before going into detail with the prepositions in accusative and dative case. At the end we have a bonus tip for you about an important special case. 😉

  • Useful. Remembering whether a movement is involved can help to use two-way prepositions. Move > A, Still > D.

    • Most positions are fix. Preposition, relative pronoun and the conjugated verb. The rest can change according to the "normal" sentence structure.
