Rickster Drummer I’m okay with the outfits being different as long as the essence of the character is there. Think of Ledger’s Joker, for example. He wears makeup, and Joker doesn’t wear makeup his skin is bleached. But the essence of the character was spot on so it’s fine. Arnie’s Freeze barely resembles the personality of the character he’s supposed to be playing, same with that movie’s version of Bane and Batgirl, who was just some made up character that doesn’t even exist outside of the movie. Batgirl is Barbara Gordon, not Alfred’s non-existent niece or whatever. And you can even go back to the previous movie, where Two-Face is a giggling lunatic that behaves more like Joker than Dent. Two-Face is rage. Not goofy antics and cackling laughter. The Schumacher films have a lot wrong with them.

I personally think Bale was the best Batman but that is in large part because of the dark tone the movies took under Nolan. To me, that is the way I picture Gotham and the villains it would produce and confront Batman with. For example, Heath Ledger was completely brilliant as The Joker and I just bought into it, disturbing, unhinged and terrifying to the average person. The concept of "some men just want to watch the world burn" was perfectly portrayed and I loved every bit of it because that to me so aptly described who the movie wanted The Joker to be and it posed a grave threat to Gotham, Batman as the protector and the world as a whole. Bale was well suited to be the foil to that, very serious and brooding as Batman but still able to pull off the billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne is supposed to be.

He looked more like a Robin casted 10 yrs too late 😂 Clooney and Bale are the best Bruce Wayne in my opinion while Keaton feels like the proper Batman. Yeah, i agree that he did not have the charm but he had this attitude showing these psychological problems of Bruce Wayne while he was a playboy, Ben Affleck was very good at it too but the script fucked him. Christian Bale on the other side was looking like a teenage playboy but he was a reallyy badasss Batman. You know what? Screw these!!! Best Bruce Wayne and Batman was and is Adam West.
