You should do a room for every age like: baby, toddler, kid, teen, young adult, adult and elder
young adults and adults are basically the same, and there’s so little elder targeted stuff
YES! ❤
@@paighpage that’s why it’s a challenge. Also adult could be more career based or settling down where as young adult is dating, finding the one for you, more partying perhaps you know like 20s and adult is like 40s
thats actually a great idea
thats absolutely a smart idea
i am SO happy to see her using packs and not limited budget in her recent builds! they look so much better
ME TOOOOO
yea I never understood why she would always only use basegame. It made it so boring and limited and I don't know why anyone would want to watch that.
@@aspenisthebest because a lot of simmers only own the base game and she wanted to accommodate to them and show people that you can make nice builds with only the base game!
I mean, taking into account how insanely expensive having all the packs is... I totally understand and agree with it, as someone who can't afford nearly so many packs
Me too
I’m in shock about how easily you did that roof💀
Same like my roofs always look like I have a stroke
@@ShakeeSnake SAME BRO
It's kind easy to do mine if I build a square and add bump outs
She builds roofs and houses every single day so I guess she got a lot of practice over the years
Same, I was looking at it and shocked because it was incredibly smooth. Mine look like I did it drunk and blindfolded 😭
I’d love to see you replicate the smallest house in Japan. It’s a concrete triangular structure (the roof is the triangle, it looks like a slice of a house.) I love your takes on real houses! 💕
You mean an A-frame?
@@hanscapon222 if they mean the one by by takeshi hosaka, no. its not a line. it has rather short walls and then a veeery tall triangular roof which is "inverted" (the house is tightly located between two other houses) as in the roof is seen from the front and slates to the front instead of the side) i would love it too but a big thing with that house is that the concrete slabs make it so u can hang a lot of things from the roof and i dont know how u could do that in the sims. in general i think even if u manage to make that it would be unplayable. i also dont think theres a small square tub which is another signature thing of that house
@@angelnetworks I agree, it's different from the A frame homes you would see in the US.
Tip for randomizing colors: just copy out the list of Sims color categories and randomize that list. So you can just get whatever the Sims tags with that "color" instead of trying to match with a random color that might not exist in the Sims.
I have that as a wheel on my phone.
I kind of prefer when she's eyeballing it though because the Sims has weird tagging sometimes. Admittedly filtering just to narrow it down means you use those tags anyway but it gives her more options if she tags both pink and purple or blue and purple. She was pretty lenient with her choices as it was so it's not like she suffered beyond hating the thing which was an exact match and very much existed on the roof lol. 😂
Is it just me that thinks the green color on the exterior looks good🤦♀️ makes me want to build a house around that color
yeah same I liked it, and the blue living room too
I agree, that green looked much better than the paneling and I think it looks good.
I liked pretty much everything
No I do too, never thought it would work but it really does
I totally want a mossy brown-green combo honestly
Okay hear me out; using the random colour generator but the screen is black and white so you would have to try and match to the shade! And then in the end revealing how close you were when everything is back in colour 😂
oh yea that'd be cool, i've seen some people paint like that on tik tok
That would be fun. But maybe she would hate it lol
@@denisecunha7326 all the more reason to do it...
Thank you so much for listening to feedback, I've been noticing a lot of changes lately with your content. We appreciate your efforts and we're loving it. You're doing amazing Kayla! ❤
Agreed. Thank you, Kayla, for branching out and mixing it up. You are a great builder!
You should do a build challenge where you listen to a voice over of one of your old videos doing a build to see if you could make your new build similar to the old one !! (I hope that makes sense)
That would be really interesting!! I hope she'll do that!
Most of her old voiceovers were really unrelated to the build, so that would be hard
She could listen to a fellow simmers voice over like James or Deli or Plumbella!! That would be cool
that is such a good idea!!
That would be so cool, and then to see the original build compared to the new one she'd make would be so interesting
You could do a “colour couples” challenge! Each room gets two random colours as the main colours in that space.
I love this idea! What if you spiced it up a little more and one color is like the walls and flooring and then the second color is all the furniture? Unless that's what you meant :D
Yay, another challenge! Still wondering if you’ll do a challenge where you make a blue suburban only using the vampire pack.
Love to see you using many packs! It looks SO GOOD I love your builds and I'm pretty sure everyone else does too, you don't have to do so many base game houses really! Honestly when I download a house off the gallery and there's stuff missing cuz I don't have the packs I just replace them with the items I have. Would love to see you building without restrictions, that's what I enjoy the most anyways! Have a good day!
This challenge, but in the sims 3 with the color wheel to get the exact color on everything It would be gloriously horrifying
"The outside of the house is going to be... dark green, a brown green." "Okay, so the roof is brown and green, can I make the walls beige?"
Yeah that was..eh? Really confusing why she would say that, glad she didn't stick with it lol
@@luxaeterna9383yeah.. i wish she actually limited herself to the colors rather than ‘cheating’ by using neutral colors to break the space apart or because she didn’t like the look of it.
i genuinely love the yellow kids room! i love that the orange toy bin ties into the orange parts of the carpet & the blue spots on the walls tie into the blue pillows on the bed
i kinda love that this build ended up being similar colors to the Not So Berry challenge
So appreciate your recent builds and how you branched out. Not many KZheadrs listen to their followers but you did and your range recently has been awesome.
James Turner is another great Sims creator that listens to his viewers in his comments and his Subreddit page
@@PetLover1903 oh I follow James and Deli!! James’ let’s plays are my fave though. Batuuuuu yeaaah
I actually think the outside is very pretty!
It was so fun to watch simsie building with more packs and with no budget restrictions!! 😁😁😁😁
I really like this house a lot. A lot of modern houses are too monotone for me so having all these many different colors gives so much good visual interest
finally. the multicoloured suburban
I think I really like this style of the color challenge! Before it felt really overwhelming but I think it's nice to just base the colors around the colors you got originally! Like, the kitchen was pink and so you used pink as an accent in a white kitchen. It feels so much more comfortable and it makes the house look way more beautiful!
I weirdly don't hate the exterior of this house. It's a little much without the white accents but I think it came together well!
the way the tree lights match her hair and skin tone and the shirt match the skin tone and everything becames a lovely color pallete can we appreciate the aesthetic of simsie
I'm highkey obsessed with how kooky this house turned out to be. I'd honestly use it in my gameplay! Edit: a little bummed that it's not going on the gallery but that's alright!
I really liked this one! The dark green is one of my personal favourite colours. I probably would have used stone and leaned into the forest cottage feel, but understand thats not everones style. Also "I wonder if we can use any green landscaping" made me giggle.
I hate these challenges because she can never commit to the ridiculousness of it. Yes, everything should be pink! White counters are such a cop out.
For some reason I just imagine Simsie contacting the sims team and being like: "Hey, can we get more vomit green roof textures?"
you should do "...But every object is a different color", like roll a new color for each piece of furniture youre gonna use
I love watching simsie but this build is not every room is a different color it is simsie basing the room off of a color
these challenges are always my favorite! makes for so much chaos but such incredibly fun builds at the end
That dining room is giving some strong late 90s vibes.
I really liked the video, i did miss all the color build challenges. And this house is genuinely good, I especially like the kitchen
My favorite part of every simsie video is when she gives up in the last minute and goes for chaos
I’d love to see solid colour get an upgrade to 2 colours. Like it’d be fun to see what comes of having to style two colours exclusively
Me: Omg this house is so cute, I kinda want to download it- Kayla: I'm not uploading it on the gallery. This is not one that I even think that you should download in the first place. Me: I... Never thought of downloading it!! :D
I did an each room is a different color. You could only use objects in that color category so it wasn’t specific colors the only time you could use something not in that category if I was necessary. It was surprisingly easy
If you want another challenge idea, each room is a different holiday. You dont have to use decorations necessarily but you can use colors and things that are an ode to the holiday. (Fairy lights for Christmas, leafs for Halloween)
Kayla has a TALENT for making houses. I mean...... She SLAAAAAYS
im so happy you bought the series back! thank you so much!
Why does that living room look like it’s from 2009? I don’t know why but it’s giving 2009
Loving the lil ghostie with the Santa hat on in the background😂😂
"Hey, today we're doing a solid color challenge" expect that it's not lol
i love lilsimsie's videos because every time i think "that looks nice" she goes "i hate this", and when i go "uhh idk about that", she says "i kinda like it" and that's the beauty of the sims 😌
You just made me realize that painting is a wine glass, I’ve been using it as a pastry 💀
You should do this but with a few colours for each room so each room is a different colour palette :)
I've never seen someone do a challenge and not do a challenge so much at the same time.
There is a mod where you can use the exact color the website gives you and paint any furniture
I legit went back and watched the old videos last night!!!! So so SO happy for another video in the series! Always so much love and fun in the lilsimsie community
I love how Kayla immediately defaulted to those tiles for the bathroom😂
the little earrings are so cute! what are they? butterflies?
Challenge Idea: Every room is a different room! You create a normal-ish-looking house and then spin a wheel for each room to see what room (office, kitchen, etc.) it will be. You will then have to make that room into the room you spun!
Still no smoke detector, but then again if my house looked like that inside I would also want to die in a fire
1. Every Room is a Different Music Genre 2. Every Room is a Different Video Game Item 3. Every Room is 2 Random Colors
This looks like something that can be found on Zillow Gone Wild and I love it
Kayla I’m so proud of you for going out of ur bubble and using a lot of packs. Looks so much better
I really like this one! I'm very here for the more adventurous and experimental builds.
I'd love to see you try a random color palette for each room as a challenge!
Kayla you should go a legacy using The Sims 4 random legacy roller it’s so much fun
I watched this with my younger siblings (10 & 7) and they kept saying they like the house and want you to put it on the gallery so they can play in it in my game. 😂 always love your silly builds lilsimsie
I loved this video!! I love the randomized rooms/colors/sizes videos
My brain seeing this house: two vampires adopted two kids and decorated their house in different colors because they wanted fun in the house and the kids’ favorite color is yellow and they love to play sports and video games with one of the kids playing soccer and the other baseball or something.
this is why i switch between you and caryn and connie cause youre chaotic and theyre very focused on making it pretty, but youre both soo funny
I like that you are branching out and doing other content besides budget and limited pack builds. Now we just need to work on not leaving in extra takes lol. Keep up the good work bro! :)
You should do a house where each room is a different time period Example: a Livingroom is 1970 so you’d have to use a vintage tv, or the kitchen is some sort of time period where it all has to be off the grid or etc.! Another idea I have is maybe each room could be based on what you as a certain age may have wanted the room to look like! Ex: a bedroom that you may have wanted as a young teen, and etc.! Btw I love ur videos they give me a lot of inspo while playing sims
The first color to me it looks really really bright green but with a hint of brown like definitely not the roof color I’m sorry
Not Kayla saying it's a terrible build, and yet I thought it was fun and creative and would 100% play in it. Stop being so harsh on yourself Kayla, you're a great builder ❤
Roof is making Kayla so uncomfortable and she pushing through that fact makes me so proud *feeling emotional* xD
i literally love when you make vidoes. cheers me up everytime i watch. love the pinksweater btw🤍🤍🤍
This build was so much fun!! You did great ❤️🌈
WE LOVE YOU SIMSIE i hope you'll feel better soon🥺❤️🥺❤️
I would LOVE to see a color challenge where you do a random color for the wall of one room, the floor, furniture, ect. and doing that for every room.
liviiiiing for these building challenges coming back full force
I love these challenges so much! Thank you for making a new one! ❤️
SIMSIE Please please DO A RANDOM COLOR FOR EVERY ITEM Allow some uniformity like all the counters can be the same color, same with wallpaper, flooring etc.
You should do "every room is a different sims 4 job" so like, a bedroom for a criminal, bathroom for a writer, etc
This is my favourite type of challenge, especially when the house still looks nice and isn't over the top and unusable!
Everyday I get home from a bad day at school I hop on the sims and watch your videos. Thanks for making my days.
this challenge, but you do 2 colors per room and you can’t have anything not that color: no pink roof, no roof, and you have to have at least one thing of each color in the room so if you get colors that DO NOT WORK you just have to deal with it
SIMSIE LOOOL i love your building videos!!!
This turned out so much better than i thought lol i adore your earrings btw xxx
I swear every time Simsy has done this challenge, she makes a yellow kids room with that same exact carpet and bed. 😂
I like it. I don’t think it’s bad! Every room individually is great! And I even think the outside is good. It’s very realistic even though it’s not my favorite color. I grew up in a house almost that color so it’s kinda nostalgic for me ❤
This was such a fun video! Made me laugh so much lol
Always excited to see these
GOALS!!! I loveeee your videos!!!
i love these kind of challenges
Thank you for the challenge video! One of my favorite types! Keeping in theme with a color challenge, what do you think of a 3 color house challenge? So randomly picking three colors and those have to be the only one for the entire house? (Similar to the three marker challenge that was pretty popular a while back but make it sims)
I'm so happy she is listening to our comments! Her builds are so much more fun and i get way more excited to watch her videos now! She's an amazing builder, i love to see that she is getting out of that blue suburban comfort zone
So incredibly happy to see different packs being used!!
I think it looks pretty. Would I paint my irl house that colour, probably not, but I think it really came together at the end.
i love how she keeps saying "it has a little bit of orange/blue to it" when theyre a complementary colors to the main and makes the build just look way better lol
I LOOOOVE when you do these videos because they’re always so chaotic 🤣
How about a complimentary color house. Inside and out. Blue, orange OR red, green OR purple, yellow. No cheats! For ex. If you do purple yellow obviously the foliage is green but the flowers all have to be purple, OR yellow.
I want someone to do a let’s play in this house, just to spite Kayla. 😂
i like these challenges, Lilsimsie gets so stressed (not why i like it.) BUT RULES: 1ST pick color at random of windows not by room but for the whole house then doors -all doors both interior and exterior then hallway, kitchen, bedroom 1 (largest), bathroom, bedroom 2 (medium ), living room, bedroom 3 (if there is one), dining room, back door area (utility room)... its ok if its not matchy matchy...they could be an eccentric, colour blind, non binary, person with the personal strength to embrace their quirky house. but pick the rooms in order first hand then do random colours?? bit more challenging and a whole lot more funky
Adding the wainscotting from the decor to the max kit would have really brought the fancy vibes to the dining room.
I love these challenges. They’re so funny.
your challenge videos are always my faves
ok wait - this challenge, but in the sims 3
