@Sleazy Do you speak another language? I’ve been learning Spanish for a year + took 3 years of it in high school (12 years ago). Actually conversing with native speakers is not something you just “pick up.” It takes years to be able to speak it fluently and he’s also in front of a camera and being interviewed. People that only know 1 language think it’s so easy to learn another language.

@@divineoverhand5307 freestyle is the origin of Russia’s wrestling style. In the USA we compete in folkstyle until after college. Russians compete in freestyle at all ages. Islam, Khabib, and Khamzat all started with freestyle. So regardless what he was talking about mma or not… American wrestling isn’t going anywhere. We are just seeing massive talents from Russia in MMA. We have yet to see that caliber of wrestler transfer over from America. I would love to see Kyle Dake make the switch. I think he would dominate 170.

Can’t wait for Islam to fight actual ranked opponents. So far he just fought Dan Hooker who was barely in the top 10 and had just cut weight and fought a few weeks prior. The second Islam got a real rank next to his name he ran off to fight unranked guys again.
