When Emery was unveiled as the replacement after Slippy was left high and dry at the High Wycombe Services, I genuinely thought I was dreaming. Fully expecting Hodgson or Allardyce and getting in my books a top 5 Manager was beyond description. Look at the team now. If not this season, we will be knocking on the door of Champions League football next season, no doubt.
