My back hurts from watching this. :) . Nice build though.
You think your back hurts imagine mine 🤣
Brilliant and beautiful. Any idea of the total cost?
hard to throw out those old Nike socks huh
honestly really impressed that he completed this build in under 10 minutes
😂😂😂
Hahaha
Would have taken me at least 20 minutes…..😂
If you watch close you can watch the seasons change in this video 😂😂 gives you an idea on how long it took
I put it on 2x speed and he completed it in under 5 min! O_o
The way this project was shot+edited made me feel way more invested in every step than is typical for youtube camper builds, great job!
Lame
Thanks Mike!!
@@oggyoggy1299no room to talk bro
If you do add solar, may I suggest you mount a panel or two (preferably two if there is room) on the roof, then adapt the wiring to XT60 this way you can plug directly into the EcoFlow with no charge controller etc. This will give you a lot more capacity for the E.F. River and give you a bit of time in the field camping to figure out your total electrical needs. Then you can design your LiFePO4 battery pack/charge controller based on your actual, field tested needs. This trailer turned out so good, I cannot wait for your fist weekend camping video!!! Thank you for taking us along during the build!!!
Thanks for the advice Charlie!! Also thanks for watching! We have taken it camping a few times already but no cameras were rolling haha. I will make a camp video in the future though!!
Panels are so easy to set up, and maybe you don't want to park in the direct sun. You're out in the sun on the road, but anything you have on your roof is blocking the sun, so maybe just start packing panels.
Agree with roof mount. My build has a roof top tent and only had "floor space" for one panel. So I mounted one fixed but mounted drawer slides on the uprights holding it. Then mounted a second so it would slide out when we are in camp for 200w when stationary. Great way to save roof space for cargo (bike mounts eg) but still maximize solar when camped.
@@jviewerm Thats a great idea, quick to set up and quick to stow!!!
Welding and grinding in Crocs…That’s awesome! Glad to see I’m not the only one who does it. Fantastic build build. Looks great.
Hahaha I’m in and out of the house alot the quick on and off is the ticket 😂 thank you!
Great Job it’s so great being young , working off buckets bent over no problem . I’m 65 and those days are over I do projects but I’ll set up work tables and horses. Nice job guy 👍
Thank you Richard!
Yes! Protect your knees! I agree with Richard !
What a amazing job! The build quality on this is way better than something that you can buy. You will be using this for a very long time.
Thank you!! Very happy with the outcome
One of the best minimalist overland builds I have seen thus far. Very nice
We use to put a little bit of grease on the trailer mounts and mating surfaces and it would take care of the noises.
Que trabalho bem feito! Parabéns!!! Ficou top!
You are very talented. I can see the attention to detail and precision that you possess also. Great craftsmanship!
Thank you Aaron!!
Good job. Came out looking clean. Liked the way it looked with the TACO pulling it.
This is great! Love how you cut the video down makes it easy to watch and fun! Keep up the awesome content!!🎉
Appreciate it! Have full build videos available as well. Linked in description
Beautiful job! Helps me appreciate all the work I got out of with my 4x6 cargo conversion. It's small enough that I pull it with a 2009 Scion XD... It's great to build your camper to your own needs. Have fun out there!
Thanks John!!
@@Adv4x4 I can appreciate building your camper from scratch... It's taken me forever just to put stuff in a ready made trailer...lol
First time on the channel and I have to say that your build is really awesome honestly and it looks amazing as well as the campsite lol. I wish you safe and happy travels and please keep us updated on improvements/ add-ons. Hope all is well with you and yours and thank you for sharing this beautiful DIY camper with us. 🙏🙏 Oh and I'm absolutely subscribing lol!.
Thank you!!🙌🏻 if you haven’t, check out the detailed build videos on the trailer as well. I’ve also build 2 other trailer as well that are documented!
@@Adv4x4 Oh I definitely will right now thanks for the heads up, Have a wonderful night and can't wait to see what you upload next.🙏🍻
Thanks man!
@@Adv4x4 You are very welcome good sir!, Thank you for sharing this and giving us the opportunity to build the same with the Plans/How2. I really want to build a "Tiny Home" for myself but I haven't got the time or money "Right now" been saving though and I plan to do so. And I don't mean to bug you but I'd love to hear your thoughts on a different channel that builds Tiny Homes from scratch and I think they do a great job and maybe it'll give you an idea to do the same one day, It's called Incredible Tiny Homes and the gentleman's name is Randy Jones. I'm just curious about what you think about his work and if you think someone could build any of the homes he offers themselves by themself on a decent budget. I'm not working with them or asked to endorse them I just respect them and would love to hear your thoughts. And don't feel you have too just because I asked alright lol. I've been thinking of going such a route for the financial freedom and opportunity to travel and I also think you'd like what they do and are about. Anyways sorry for rambling on but thanks again and I'll hopefully speak with you soon good sir, take care always and have fun!. 🙏
My favourite thing about this build is no super specialist tools. With the right skills and tools accessible to pretty much everyone. Clearly has great skills 👌
Thank you Matthew!
Impressive build. Very nice, clean and minimalistic. This build looks like it would have additional add-on option capabilities. Lots of headroom for us giraffes out there. I wouldn't be surprised I see a diesel heater in the future for winter camping. Keep the video's coming.
Thanks!!
Super cool man, as a young guy this is really inspirational to start building some personal things. Guys at work always tell me I should, but you just made it look super easy with not that many tools. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
Thanks Jacob! Doesn’t take much to get started! Learning new skills is one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself. I learned alot with each of the trailer builds I’ve done and continue to learn with everything I make!
@@Adv4x4 I have recently started welding on the weekend with my boss, building things to go in our trailer at work. I feel like I’ve already learned so much. Would love to build something like this some day.
Awesome! Have no doubt you could pull it off. Anyone can make it happen if they apply themselves 👌🏼
I've been following along the entire build and it's good to see it condensed here. I like the way you stacked the sides when building the frame to make them identical. So many people try to build them vertically on the trailer and it always seemed more prone to error - I'm intending doing it the way you did. Do you have any idea on the final weight?
Thanks man! It was equally as cool to me to see it all in this video too! I was really excited about this one. I don’t have an exact # on the weight but I’d say under 1000lbs for sure!
Awesome work! Very talented, great to see such a hard working craftsmen! Great ground clearance coming down the trail. Bueatiful interior! Enjoy your camping time! God bless!
Thank you Frank!!
This is amazing... I've been trying to find a minimalist trailer... and this is exactly what I'd love to own...
Love the vids. And the result. Quick question though: Have you weighed it? I’m really curious for the ballpark mass… and if it’d be a feasible option for my current CUV.
Thank you! I’d guess under 1k lbs probably close to 800
Cool design. Just one point, you should avoid welding all around the tongue tube. It could break under fatigue without warning.
That's impressive! Never seen that type of axle/spring, very cool!!!
I love your attention to detail! Nice work!
Thank you!
This is great. Looking forward to finishing up the flatbed and then starting this project!
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Loves watching this whole build. What a great camper!
I was impressed with the trailer before you even built the camper! You've got mad fabricating and welding skills!
Awesome build, and great that you've made plans!
Thank you!!
Absolutely amazing work. Great video too.
I regret not taking welding classes in high school. This is great!
Very nice build. I hope you enjoy the removable tongue jack as much as I do mine. The peace of mind is great. I’m lazy, so I removed the crank handle and had a 3/4” nut welded to the shaft. 18v drill gives me an electric jack. With a home brew trailer, I’d have incorporated two more in the rear corners for stabilizer/tire changing duties. I’m gonna need to add leading edge fender sliders to my Cargo Trailer conversion after ruining a fender, and seeing yours.
That’s a great idea with the jacks! I really debated on adding some screw jacks to the rear but I told myself I’d probably never really unhook it. And the way that the axle was placed we wouldn’t be heavy enough to get it to tip. In hindsight it would have been a smart addition just for leveling it alone! Live and you learn! Good luck on your build!
fico perfeito demais. Que trabalho bem feito!Parabéns!!!Ficou top!.
Really enjoyed this, that Milwaukee fan is a real lifesaver, electrician myself and I won't go into an attic without it.
Thanks man! I use mine like crazy. Helps make camping in hot weather at night more doable too haha
Thank You so much for all the work you put in to these beautiful videos!
Thank you so much for watching!
@@Adv4x4 Thank you
Love it. Well built. I'd add an ARB (or equivalent) awning to it and solar and use it as my hunting rig.
Super sick man! Nice job!
Thanks!!
He does this all on the floor. That would be so hard. No work table. respect this guy !
Nothing good comes easy!
FMD, that was both mesmerizing and satisfying. Well done!
Thank you!!
Love this! A bed on wheels. Nothing more, nothing less.
Thank you for the great video. You have helped me a ton with the AFrame pop up camper I’m building
So glad to hear it man!! Goodluck on your build
Well done. I admire your work.
Thank you!
The trailer turned out awesome! Nice work.
Thanks Mike!
I subscribed and plan to save this Chanel for 20 years so I can see his next build. It’s going to be similar but able to stand up and a place to sit down . This guy is young and a hustler with a strong back . Just a great Job can’t wait to see the next one.
Haha who knows what’s next but I have some ideas in mind! Thank you for subscribing and watching!
You included EVERYTHING in the description, and I commend you for that, you really care and that’s spec
I try my best to be a thorough as possible! Thank you!!
This is amazing..you did a great job. I'd add that the beeping sounds like ita coming from the remote, if that's the case you can open it up and unsolder the small piezo buzzer in there. I have done this in many remotes that I couldn't turn off. A little tip to bring you some sanity. Thank you for sharing this amazing build. Good luck out there
Thank you!
this build is really awesome
Thank you!
Good on you bro. I’m bloody impressed! I hope to do the same thing some time when I have the space and know how. I hope the future upgrades go well.
Super cool and CLEAN build! I like your Taco too! Hope to see you out there 🤙🏻
Thanks Aaron!!
Just found your channel, Its awesome you have the skillset and materials to complete this objective. I can do plenty of things but this project solo is way of my head. Peace.
Thank you!! Appreciate you watching.
I have converted a couple cargo trailers and built one RTT Trailer so far. But something like this is my next build this winter. I am going to use some of your ideas in my build. Thanks for posting as I know the work that goes into a KZhead channel. You just gained a subscriber. Rob Dodd Backroad Adventurers
Thanks Rob! Subbed to your channel as well. It’s a long road but the key is to keep putting content out there! Keep it up!
Beautiful craftsmanship. Congrats and enjoy.
Thank you Dan!
Man, by watching your clip, you are really skillful, and you do know what u r doing! (Instead of some others doing their DIY project and trying to make some sense of what they are doing in their clips.) Keep up the great work!! Subscribed of course.
Thank you Nick!!
From watching this video, I can tell it was a challenge to build, but you pulled it off. I can’t wait to see what you do next.
Thanks Chase! It definitely was a challenge. I had never built a camper like that before. Only 2 other open air trailers prior to this. So I at least had practice with the overall frame design and how to do that part which helped. The biggest mystery when I started was the camper body it self. I plan as much as I can ahead of time but I find that I work best with the method of “I’ll see what to do when I get there” haha
If I build one, I would do it like this one. Thanks a bunch!
Wow! That’s amazing! I wish I could do stuff like that. Great job!
Thank you! I bet you could if you tried! 👍🏼
Well done! That's some next level stuff.
Thank you!🙌🏻
Im a very impressed with this camper build. Happy camping ❤❤❤
I have never wanted to build something so badly, great job!
You can do it man!!🤘🏼
You done an amazing job my friend!
Thank you!
Bro! I love this video! It helps me understand all the mechanics. You have some awesome ideas with this one!
Thank you man!!!
I had a K5 blazer years ago and the owner before me had built a hitch for it and had a nut welded on the bottom, left and right of the receiver hole with a bolt in each nut that would apply pressure against the receiver and keep it from rattling. Of course, this would add a little work any time you wanted to swap out the receivers, but it did eliminate the rattle which is very annoying on long trips and insufficient tongue weight as you mentioned
Thanks for the tip! I think the main source of my rattling is actually from the lock n roll system. But of course sufficient tongue weight eliminates it. With the bike on the front of the camper is when this unit tows the best!
Good day to you! I am a grandpa rider on HONDA motorcycle from Japan. Enjoying camping ,touring and upload video. Your CAMPING CAR video is so nice! Awesome! Full supported ! Have a nice day my friend!
Thank you!! Appreciate you watching!
Awesome job. Beautiful

Здорово ! Хорошо когда есть такие РУКИ. Молодец, настоящий Мастер.
Nice. Side shade and fold out kitchen would be a fine addition.

I have all the tools, and all the skills to use the tools, now I just gotta figure out where he got the motivation from and I'm all set
Love From Koshal State India❤
This was a great series. Thanks!

This is awesome brother. Exactly what I want to build but I’d add a slide out drawer from the side for kitchen etc
