I've had that G43 in my cart so many times! Because you were loving on that G33, I kept pausing. I hope you got you're square communication fixed by now. You're out of too much stuff too. If you get you're communication fixed you'd do much better. Everything I want but the charging handles are out! This video was long overdue. Kudos to the guy that recommended it.

The g43 is shorter, shorter than the improved eye relief distance, so you'll still be pushing your face further up to reach it,
Have you tested these on an ar15? If so how many rds and did they hold up? I built a mk18 but can't justify spending $600 on something that I might use. Your price is perfect!
So I've been looking into these. I own a decent LPVO but unfortunately that extra weight is just annoying. Its a 16 inch AR and I don't really shoot passed 100 yards to be honest. I have qualified for 200 with the set up Holosun optic I have. I'm sure the G43 can handle .223 or 5.56 recoil impulse. As for my AR, it recoils extra smooth with the two stage buffer system I have in it. plus I almost always take my Wolfman Can when I hit up the range, so this magnifier might be what I've been looking for to just have the option to zoom in. Great video I was thinking about getting the clone G33 or G43 magnifier just didn’t know if they was any good or if they would work with my Sig Romeo5
The one I got I would give it a 5 for Clarity compared to the Tacticon at 89.00 price tag. And the Tacticon a 9
got the G33 magnifier because I wanted the flip up sight set up like the unity Tactical. I got the replica mount for about $ 30.00. I have a magnifier from Tacticon that cost 89.00. The Tacticon is much Clearer and the field of view is much larger. The G33 Mag looks like your looking through a really small hole and the glass in not very clear.. I wish I could mount it on the unity tactical flip mount.

Just an idea. Instead of using your fingers. Lay a wooden ruler to measure the sight difference . Placed against the optic.
So the G43 is definitely worth the extra money over the G33 based on eye relief alone?

Hey man, great review. You definitely have me considering a G43. I just have a quick question that I can't seem to find the answer to online. Is the G43 significantly lighter? According to multiple websites, the G43 weighs 0.1oz more than the G33... The G43 is obviously considerably smaller so I can't see how that would be possible. Thank you!
Their weights are correct. Towards the end of the video I also mentioned that somehow the G43 is heavier. It is about 30% thicker than the 33. And holding one in each hand, it’s very close. But I do believe the 43 is a bit heavier!
@@corbinleiby7461 Huh that's interesting... I went ahead and bought the G43. I am concerned about overall weight but I don't think it'll make much of a difference
I have yet to buy my magnifier. I'm tossing between both, but I want to run a BUIS (back up iron sight). The rear sight will take up some space and I'm concerned that the short eye relief (2.5" on a G43) and the smaller profile on that magnifier will not travel back far enough for proper alignment. Seems that the G33 is longer and will be appropriate, but really like the G43. Anyone have any issues with a G43 and rear iron sight?
I have got the exact same G43 magnifier and I find the eye relief non existent, got to be right on it, any slight movement and it shadows out (If that’s the term), also trying to use it with mesh goggles is near on impossible .. The holo clone optic on the other hand is excellent … I do need to adjust the eyesight adjustment on the back but not by that much …
And what about the clone EoTech and these magnifiers will work on a 223/5.56 AR-15

my issue is on the QD mount release lever interferes with the charging handle. switching the mount to swivel to the left may be a solution or moving the mount forward around two notches but will sacrifice eye relief.
I’ve never had that issue. I suppose it depends on the charging handle.
@@corbinleiby7461 I tried to switch it to the left but the tube just blocked my left eye field of vision. switched it back to the right ang might do a charging handle extension on the right side. the "nail clipper kinda" lever is just in its way when charging (just the way you mounted the G43 on the video at the last notch of the rail.) my issue is that I had the brace extended all the way to the back and my eye relief is too far. but like you, I will make things work. Great video contents!
just get a primary arms 3x LER theyre only about $100 and have great eye relief . paired mine with an aid flip mount and holosun 512c

It's a fixed magnification. The lens adjustment is probably just for focus.

I have the same question. I think you can if you mount the sight to the quick release mount the other way around. Then it will flip to the left.

If I have any advice, pay the seller that’s not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Truth be told only 1 factory makes these replicas. If you get one, it’s all about making sure you spend enough to get the same quality that I did. That actually does matter and if you see a cheaper price, there is a reason. These should be 60-70 by themselves if I remember right.

@@universallaw8850 they seem to be of really great quality with most batches. The eye relief is pretty damn good. I think they are worth the price in quality for a clone.
How do you think this would hold up to the recoil of 7.62x39 (not concerned with the eye relief but mechanical hold up to recoil)? I would ask about a .50 Beowulf but I think the eye relief will be an issue... do not need a black eye.
I really think both will hold up. Especially the 43

Ordered the g43 and it’s too far right. when mounted the dot is way off to the left and can’t adjust far enough to center it. This is with a real exps2

@@palumbo78 I tried to get it center and it ended up cracking the glass. just had them refund me. and like a year later one showed up in the mail lol. so I put it on my sons airsoft m14.
@@justinlong977 so the mount was too short when folded downward? Basically, you could never get it centered to the exps?
@@palumbo78 basically, and when they sent me the random replacement it had their exps knock off so I mounted the set on on the full auto dpms BB gun.

1,000 BB gun rounds = 3 .223 rounds. Clarity is really good =9. Is this rated like Dave Portnoy rates pizza’s? There’s a frozen pizza scale and fresh out of an authentic oven scale, cuz no way is a shitty frozen pizza on the same scale as an authentic Italian brick oven. The review is cool but it’s obvious you have never used or compared side by side to authentic Eotech magnifier or holographic sight. The clarity on the real deal is insane, not cloudy, or distorted colors around the outside edge of the glass. One of the biggest differences between real Eotech HWS and a clone is the authentic has essentially no parallax, where a Chinese clone has insane amounts of parallax if you cheek weld is moving or looking through optic and slightly different angle during a stressful situation. Bottom line comparing these Chinese knock offs to an authentic Eotech should be noted that they are nowhere near the same quality, or should be judged on the same scale. This should be noted that this is the G33, G43 plastic BB gun scale, and can’t be compared to the real deal.

I no longer sell optics. I have 1 G43 left and I would like to keep it. I’m sure if you look on AliExpress or Wish you can find them. If you’re paying under 75 it’s probably not as good as these in the video. The ATF and customs basically shut down my ability to import as I was caught importing firearm components. That’s the truth if you have been around on my page and seen the drama. Lol
There's definitely a difference in quality between the unbranded $62 magnifiers and the $100 unbranded magnifiers. Hard to navigate aliexpress, I almost just want to buy a real G43
