Explanation of cueing the hips to be an anchor position. Using the position well will result in better tightness off the floor, pulling slack better, and overall stronger and more consistent deadlift technique.

  • I know you probably will not see this since this channel seems inactive, your queue about elongating the arms without dipping the hips down was the most helpful tip I’ve gotten on sumo deads. Thanks sm

  • 5:31 it looks like on your lighter sets you jut your chin out at the top of the lift. yet on heavier sets this doesn't seem to happen. is this intentional or just a result of more strain/focus with the heavier weight. love the videos by the way, especially the slow mo stuff and the breakdown with analysis. would be awesome if you could do some similar critique videos that show lifters with different physiques/leverages.

  • Hey, why when I pull the bar, my hips go up? And they don't stay in one position?

    @kpitaan4107@kpitaan41074 ай бұрын
    • The first part of a DL is leg pressing the bar off the ground.keep shoulders over the bar until it gets to knees then begin to extend your hips. Hips shoot up if you’re pulling with lower back instead of pushing with legs.
