I'd like to see a video on stance width for sumo (pros/ cons) of wide vs narrow, and how to find what works best

It would be interesting to see a video comparing a top-down set-up VS a bottom-up set-up. For instance, I like using a top-down set-up, but if I'm doing more than 1 rep I struggle to find the right cues after the 1st one (since I don't reset every time, but I keep gripping the bar for the rest of the set). Hope I wasn't too confusing 😅

Hi from Tokyo, Japan. David, great cues! I watched this video again and again. Can you also make sumo deadlift video for a short arms/short legs lifter? How to adjust better? Thanks!

i can sort of grasp the shoulders on top of the legs cue, but for the most part unless you're a sumo puller its hard to translate all of your tips to conventional style pulling...maybe next video??? :) thanks a ton for all the great content

What cue or fix would you recommend for a lifter that has a problem with the bar drifting out in front of them during a pull?

Does shin contact matter on sumo just before the pull? When I pull conventional I do, but on sumo I can't seem to figure out the right distance between bar and my shins to avoid losing position or maintain consistency across reps. Do you use any cues to set yourself with the optimal distance between bar and shins?

I think Clarence Kennedy filmed a video in this same gym, few years back.

What do you have 2 separate KZhead channels for powerlifting? Can you clarify please.

Maybe you can say a word about to get in position of the pelvis in the sumo deadlift?

@@BrazosValleyBarbell I think its about feel that position and cues rather than strenght. And hip mobility ofc, u cannot "pull the bar into you properly" if u have shitty mobility

Great content as always! One question I have is that when you focus on not tensioning a 100% the upper back does that mean that you do not focus on scapulae depression? I feel that helps a ton with back tightness. Thank you!
