  • I've had two instances so far of people just freaking out in public over the Fold... One guy said, he'd never seen anything so cool, he went on to say he wished they'd make a phone that flipped open like the old style phones, luckily enough I had my Flip 4 in my bag and pulled it out to show him. He was so juiced it was hilarious.

  • As someone who misses the variety from the 2000's era of cell phones, this phone gave me the feeling like I was getting something new and different in all of the best ways. I switched over after 10+ years with iPhones and have had no regrets. The Fold 4 really is a great device.

I thought there was no way I'd ever used the multi window options but use it constantly. Retrained myself away from closing out one app to open another... now I just pull it up alongside whatever I'm already doing. I get hyped about my phone on a regular basis and it has been quite some time since I could say that.

I went in to check out the flip 4 but after experiencing KZhead and photos on the fold with its massive screen I really want this thing. It's absolutely brilliant. • I had a buddy get one of these like a week ago and seeing it in person had me dropping any preconceived notions I had about folding phones. I had to see it to believe how good it was. I still don't know how I feel about the unique aspect ratios, they seem perfectly suited for some things but problematic for other things. My Pixel 6 is going strong so I'll probably hold out until there's a significant price drop or sale but color me impressed.

  • I'm still very happy with my Z Fold2 which I bargained in May 2021. The first version really didn't seem like a finished product, but it's great to see the evolution over this small span of time until today. However, the point you mentioned at the end is definitely true for me: whenever I unfold it in public, there's a reaction like "omg, what's this? Never seen a phone like this before". At least here in Europe, Foldables didn't spread at all until now, and I'm afraid they will always remain a very small portion of the market

  • Same thing here ...got one the other day to try it out. I didn't think I'd like it at all. Man, wow...I absolutely love it to my surprise. I was concerned that I didn't think I would like using the front cover screen because it's narrow. But it's actually quite nice because it's very useable one handed. And then when I'm ready to open it up, it's an amazing experience. I'm so glad I took a chance and got it. Great phone. I'll give it another month and if I'm still liking it as much as I am now I'll probably sell my pixel 7 pro

  • As an artist I made the switch from the z flip 1st gen to now the z fold 4, absolutely no regrets, all the points in this video are solid. There's definitely a bonus reason for any artists out there, carrying an extremely usable phone around that double as basically an iPad mini with a pen is so convenient. There's been multiple times I've found myself waiting extra long for something like an appointment and and having the ability to just start drawing on the go without carrying any extra things is amazing. The multi-app function also makes it an amazing experience, scrolling through inspiration on the side or watching a KZhead video at the top makes is so enjoyable.

  • Mark is currently one of my favorite KZheadrs. Geeky but still with a finger on the pulse of the market and "regular" people. I love Mr. Mobile, but his love of niche tech gets in the way of his judgement and he ends up recommending things that don't really make sense for the average consumer. And I see that happening a lot these days, reviewers fawning over Chinese phones with a less visible ridge that have zero water resistance and don't stay open at multiple different angles. Mark has so far avoided that pitfall. Kudos!

  • Using the Fold 4 for a day now and what surprised me the most is the amount of time I spend using the smaller front display. For some reasons I find it to be more convenient than my previous Note 20 Ultra. One reason for that is the weight and feel of the device. It's a well balanced phone when it comes to weight distribution (if that makes sense). Also I can use it with one hand with no issue. Add that to the bigger display when opened you are left with a phone like no other.

  • My wife just bought it. It is an awesome piece of tech but it is just too heavy and cumbersome for my taste. If you need an all in one tech like my wife, than the Z Fold 4 is definitely for you. It can be everything, for work, for play, it can probably cook dinner for you if you ask it nicely. Especially if you’re the kind of person who change phone ones every five or six years. It will be worth it. But if you are like me who already owns every tech that you probably do not need, than owning Z Fold 4 will just adding to the tech that you do not need. Although I’m a bit jealous seeing my wife playing with her beautiful and awesome new phone, the reason I’m currently using iPhone SE 2020 is because I hated carrying a huge phone around.

But happy as to say in person while watching a video or using inner screen the crease is WAYYY less noticeable, if not invisible during use, with only a little noticeable when light hits n refraction at an angle or when black or dark screen... But when I got to try out the Fold 4, it got me excited like no other phone has for many years! The versatility, the quality and yes, like you said, the fun! • @@bigdrews4360 Well... at the moment I really don't feel like going back to iOS. It feels so sluggish and clunky after being on Android for a while. And I really enjoy the narrow screen on the outside and the bigger screen on the inside for content consumption. The only thing is, the Fold 4 is so expensive I'm almost afraid to use it. In that sense it's not a comfortable phone to use at all. I'd be devastated if something happened to it. So on the one hand I'm tempted to switch to a less expensive phone that I can throw around so to say, but on the other hand, at least for now, I'm still enjoying using the Fold way too much to be switching to another phone. So long story short: yes, my sim will stay in the Fold. For now.

  • Hello Mark, a great video, thank you. I've owned a Z Fold 4 for 2 weeks now and would never exchange it for a "normal" smartphone again. I was an iPhone user from the early days. And iPhones are top devices, no question. But for years more or less always the same design. A little bit more processor here, a little more camera there. With the Z Fold 4 I have 2 devices in 1 at my fingertips! Just awesome. And as a tablet, the Fold 4 is neither too small nor too big. In addition, the camera shoots great pictures and records great videos. I took a picture of the early evening moon yesterday, TOP! The taskbar is also one of the highlights. Of course, there are a few things to complain about with the Fold 4 (maybe wider front display), as with all smartphones. It always depends on your own possible uses. Keep it up Mark 👌👌👌

  • I just found your video... I'm reconsidering the fold 4...I actually had the first one that was released quite awhile ago & I loved the actual phone... seriously, loved it! However, I developed de quervains in my left thumb - from the opening & closing throughout the day. I think it was due to it being so hard to open & pulling it open with my left hand - while my rt hand just braced the back... it put shot of pressure on y left thumb with the repetitive motion. It was about 2-3 mos before it got so painful that I went to dr...it was excruciating pain to just pick up something. The dr said that there had been others complaining of the same issue with this phone. Nothing else was different in my life or my physical motions... other than my new beloved phone. When she tried to open it - she had no doubt it was the culprit. She told be to immediately get another phone * referred me to physic therapy... with option of cortisone shots & surgery. Well, 6 mos of physical therapy & using heat & hand exercises every evening, my pain has eased & i just have to be aware of how i use y left hand now. It was certainly a major disappointment as I settled for the S22+ .. which is a good phone, but not as good as the fold was. Sorry for the length, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if the new one seems to be easier to open? I guess I opened it with more pull in my left hand & it caused the major irritation to the left hand tendons. Like I said, I loved the phone otherwise & for me - it was the perfect phone for the way I use my phone. Is it worth reconsidering?

Unfortunately, two weeks out of warranty my center screen started to crack and I lost pixels. Never dropped the phone. Never abused it. Nor did I ever use the s pen. It's too late for me but Samsung should consider these two options. Either extend the warranty for all folding phones. Or put a warning on them not to open and close more than 50 times a day. Because it will possibly break. I will never buy another folding phone especially from Samsung until it is perfected. I traded it in on s22 ultra because I love my watch 5.
