Demetrious Johnson cleared out the UFC flyweight division, nearly causing it to be terminated for good. However, even his record-breaking eleven title defenses were not enough for the legend of Mighty Mouse. And after finding a new home in Asia, he continues to make history. I can tell you with absolute certainty, NO ONE has forgotten Mighty mouse. He is literally in every fan's GOAT list.

I think it’s just these fans that have taken over that really don’t talk about him, the attention seeking weirdos. One reason being most of them only watch big ppvs and wanna see the next big thing. DJ was relegated to ESPN shows and has basically been erased as of late. There’s never any mention of him in UFC coverage, him or Randy Couture. Mighty Mouse has been on my GOAT list since I was watching him dominate in the UFC. He's been one of my favorite fighters for years.

I genuinely feel like his competition was equal if not better then what it would have been had he stayed in the ufc. I know the Rodtang fight had special rules, but I have serious doubts that any of the ufc flyweights could survive that first round. Let alone throw haymakers back. Danas biggest fumble for sure.

Maybe the most well rounded and technical fighter ever. Never needed to cut 30 lbs to win. Never had the advantage of being longer in reach than anybody. Never popped for performance enhancers. My GOAT.
What's funny is they consider jon jones the best but look at DJ. This guy is insane. So technical, so well prepared, durable, high fight IQ, everything. He fought some real killers too. On top of all that, he seems to be a respectable guy outside of the ring. For me that counts more than anything.

Easy work. 125 would stand a chance, 135 would be a pretty easy match unless he got caught crossing the void. 145…. Tough work but he would be competitive.
