  • I have a lot of respect for Nikolaj Ehlers, It wasn't even his teammate that was down. In the chaos, his concern was the injured downed player.. exactly how it should be!

    • Easily one of the dirtiest hits of all time. Didn't Stevens also blindside Lindros when he didn't have the puck. Was always embarrassed when he would get picked to represent my country. We should have been better as a nation.

    • Hello, i know this is an unexpected message and its one that not everyone wants but one that everyone needs. You can say what you want, call me names or say I'm delusional, that's okay. But my question to you is, have you ever accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? We have all sinned, each one of us- we have all lied, hated, and said, did and thought things we knew to be wrong. That is called sin. We are all guilty of sinning against God and deserve judgement for it, that judgement being an eternity in the lake of fire. This may sound cruel but if we reject the one avenue of salvation that God has offered us as the solution to our wickedness and sinfulness- his son Jesus Christ- he will have no choice but to sentence you to an eternity in the lake of fire because he cannot allow sin to enter heaven. However despite our sinning against him as much as we do , God loves each one of us so much that he sent His sinless perfect Son, Jesus Christ to the cross as a sacrifice on your behalf. He had your face on his mind as he endured unimaginable abuse at the hands of the romans, was nailed to a cross and shed his blood for you-and if you were the only one on earth, he would have still done it. He rose again and sits at the right hand of the father. He longs to be reconciled to you and forgive you of everything you've ever done wrong and promises you heaven if you repent of your sin and accept him as your Lord and Savior and trust him to wash wash away all your sin. We cannot save ourselves, our own righteousness is like filthy rags. If you hear that small voice inside you telling you that you are guilty of sinning against the most high God, that you can't save yourself from the ultimate penalty of sin and that you need the Savior, don't ignore it! That is God's holy spirit drawing you to himself If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have your sins forgiven, you can pray something like this: Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sin. I want to turn from my sin. I accept you Jesus as Savior and confess you as Lord, from now on I want to serve you and follow you for the rest of my life. In Jesus's name, amen It is my sincere prayer that God speaks to your heart with this message and that you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. God leaves that choice up to you. I pray you have a good day and God bless.

    • So what is Scheifele supposed to do - let him just walk out in front of the net and seal the game? It was a heavy hit, but it did not deserve that suspension. If you are going to go to the front of the net you have to expect that you might be hit. Evans could have just ragged the puck in the corner. The game was still undecided. Scheifele made a hockey play and did not deserve that suspension.

      @NickAntos@NickAntos3 ай бұрын
    • @@NickAntos I disagree with the “at that stage of the game” point. It’s a 1 goal game with a minute left. The game is still up for grabs and Scheifele was trying to prevent a gimme. If he was just walking out into the slot would the Jets have been expected to just let him shoot uncontested? Sorry for the rant, but any integrity player in the league in the same situation would have done the same thing.

At the penultimate game against a team in the basement of the table, there was a mass brawl. Our guys just wanted to defend their mate because of his nose surgery. As the smallest team in the DEL, we probably made some enemies, but performance is also rewarded by being at the top of the table. ❤REV

    • Let's be real: The action itself is worthy of a suspension since you can't have players take down others like that. But: It should have never come to this. The initial hit by Cousins should have been a misconduct call with a suspension to boot, if the refs do their job in that situation, he never sees the reason to take it into his own hands. Doesn't mean it is ok he did it, just that you could have prevented the situation in the first place

    • That was terrible. Chara had two things going in his favor: it was at least plausible that he hadn't intended what happened, and he didn't have a history of dirty hits. I don't believe he intended to seriously injure, but I think he did a piss poor job of owning what he did. He should have shown genuine concern on the ice for the player he injured, and he should have been profusely apologetic afterward. I don't think he did either.

  • As 4 the Wideman one. It's not ok for it to be done, but it happens. And Wideman had a concussion. Should have eventually apologized though.

  • I think Wilson's hits are hard, and that one was late and dangerous but most of them are over hyped. Ryan Reaves hits are much more malicious and intentional. Wilson's are intentional and intended to hit them and not hurt himself. Wilson's hits maybe could get there but it's like the line for me. The hits that bother me are those blindsided ones. Those you have to be suspended for.

  • Another good selection of videos that shows how big of a joke the nhl is and the supposed department of player safety the last thing they care about is players safety. A bunch of these are before the supposed new rule changes but from on the ice you do not know from one shift to the next what is and what is not a penalty and what is not. Then when it comes time to punish plays for their action on the ice it seems to matter more what crest is on the front of the jersey than the actual offence a player has committed. It is time for fans of hockey to stand up to the nhl and demand change from the top down and make the game of hockey great again not the joke of professional sports.
