Both men had in there early days tons of expectations and there teams being division rivals further ignited tensions. Both wanted to win badly! And well they did have a 3-2 series lead going into game 6 which means they could've won the cup in game 6 and the series 4-2 on the road but the bruins rallied back by winning game 6 to force game 7 so they could've done it at home in Vancouver in game 7 but they got blown out and the bruins won the series 4-3. The canucks coughed up a 3-2 lead at the worst possible time and they did have a laundry list of injuries unlike the bruins so that did tire them out I am sure. Im glad boston rallied back and won but I got respect for what the canucks did too
