The look on the bird's face when his rival turned up right when he was about to seal the deal was friggen PRICELESS
Matthew Eagleton If he’d had the wherewithal to continue after dude arrived, she probably would have been impressed and chosen him; his own insecurities doomed his efforts. There’s a lesson in there...

yeah, age old cockblocking exists in the animal kingdom as well
He landed the mating moves and all, and here comes the cock blocker flying up like AYYYYEEE, YOU GOOD BRO?
9:20 Fish lost her freaking rock upon seeing a random octopus passing by
A real "Bruh..." moment.
That part slayed me.
Got so scared it threw up

Shit ! I am leaving 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"What can he do to win her over?" Me: *Dance* Narrator: *"Dance"*
these camera people deserves more oscars than all of hollywood combined
Don't forget the music production
And specially the narrator
Indeed, it's amazing how the cameraman manages to capture these animals planning, reactions, face expressions, brilliant work! Other stuff can all be planned leisurely.
And extraordinarily the folly artists.
@@atithi8 The female spider is the star. :)
Male bird:has seizures female bird:that’s hot
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 HILARIOUS!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Something threw him off his game!!😂😂😂
🤣🤦🏾♀️
Idk man, I think what did it was him headbutting her chest
He had a stroke first. Eyes aren't supposed to do that
No one has the ability to captivate an audience through story telling like David Attenborough. What a gift he has been to the world.
He truly is incredible!
4:08 my man said “let me see what my eye taste like real quick”
Yo the bird's face when the other bird showed up...
_FUCK, HE'S HOME CLARA..._
His vibe was completely gone
Dude still aint gotten over it
All he had to do was keep going and ignore him and he had her.) So strange though, the timing of the other bird was spot on and all he had to do was show up to get her to go with him; once the other bird stopped. I wish they would have been able to show whether those to birds 'hooked-up'.
Ha2.. .
Yo my man danced his way out of death and gets killed anyway What a legend.
he is a great guy, providing nourishment to his kids and her. In a big dangerous world you need all that you can find

Dont almost always the spiders eat the male? After mating
That bird's heart was shattered beyond repair. The look at his face at the end was priceless.
23:20 That has got to be one of the most magnificent footages ever recorded, holy shit.
💥💥💥
The female bird was like: " Yeah yeah it's very nice and all but... Can you put this in your mouth?" I laughed way too hard!
it looks like she is giving a bill to a stripper ^^
"That's what he said."
"Yes, yes. That's it. Don't stop now!"
The bird equivalent to a gag ball possibly.. she was a Dom.
09:28 "apart from a rather startled fish" I died
*VOMITS PEBBLE*
Fish: BLARGH
lmao same here.
Haha hilarious reaction. 😂😂
I'm always amazed by how they film this stuff so perfectly without being noticed and still have enough footage to tell a story. They must camp out for days!
If you watch some of the photographers in situ, you’ll see the do indeed camp out for days on frozen ground, desert sands, in bogs & marshes & busy forests. Quite hardcore really
that's why it usually takes years and years of work to get these documentaries done and it's also why many documentaries reuse wildlife footage because it's so hard and rare to get good ones
a lot of it is faked and filmed in purpose built studios
@@Bilson420 Yep. A lot of that footage with the polar bears and other predators was completely faked. All just in studios. Just like the Moon landing. #sarcasm For the small animals (insects, birds, etc.), they do have some purpose-built facilities that act as both atrium and videography studio, but not even all that much of footage for those animals comes from that. Many animals, large and small, just don't do well in captive environments. Of the clips shown here, even the cat stuff wasn't in studios. The "field" there is much less harsh (and budget-friendly). The vast majority of BBC Earth's footage is camping in the field for days and weeks at a time; taken with frontline camera technology/ techniques.
bruh, I could have sworn that birb just sighed when she flew away. This is why I love birbs.

15:08 the look of DEFEAT on that poor birds face 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
yes, the poor guy
When David Attenborough is the narrator, you can never go wrong bruh!
Right right RIGHT!!👍👍👍
He was born to do this! He is just perfect in his descriptive narration,, feels as if one is right there with him
Everything goes wrong now he has taken a fatal fall named death ;c
Daniel Nguyen 🤷🏻♀️. Who are you talking to?
@@catherineapioatim5728 everything comes out of his mouth is perfect. I get upset when a narrator don't match his standards.
The editing here is amazing, "apart from a startled fish... " *vomits pebble* amazing
it was about that time that i had started to wonder about foley and i was atuned to the very sound of the "vomits pebble". a whoosh overlain with another fast attack element. is this actual or foley? same for the rest...
"It's time to get physical with a few head-butts to the chest" I implement the same strategy on Tinder dates. Works 4/10 times, every time
That bison was such a jerk XD "hey, that kid seems in trouble, could made a good bait while I run away from those wolves tbh, let's go trip him to make an escape!"
I honestly think the one who rammed him was trying to help him, it looked as if he was taking the chance that he could trample the wolves while pushing the other into safety and give him a boost. Just a theory of course.
Gotta do what you gotta do bro
@@adrielcampos3809 I thought it a sign of mercy, seeing as it was struggling and trying to escape its almost inevitable death. The push was maybe done to speed up its death idk.
@@emilfeddersen5677 that's what I thought too. Or was just panicked and wasn't thinking
These replies here are so naive I thought I was in a Disney movie for a second. Animals try to run from certain death every single day, you honestly think this Bison even has the capacity to consider the possibility of saving another while risking its own life? If that was part of a Bison' biology, they'd been extinct already - doing what it did is unquestionably the best choice in the situation. If Bisons were so heroic as you think, why did they run in the first place? By your logic, they should have stayed in a group and fought all the wolves to save everyone.
14:42 That bird was like "really, bro?"
The cinematography is immaculate, the way we are able to view their surroundings from their point of view is satisfying and immersive.
24:35 - That seal just chilling. Sooo cute. Poor guy 😅
That ant's escape from the antlion was a nailbiter, especially with that music 😁
And that polar bear one. When the polar bear dove under the water after that seal I held my breath. That was tense. Beautiful shots, too.
Rhiannn :3 SHH your spoiling the episode! Lol
And then the ant actually looked back ...like "phew...that was close"... lol
What about the venom from the larva though? I thought it was venomous! Are the ants immune to the venom? Will the ant not die anyway if it isn’t?
@@HamSammichApex The antlion did not bite the ant that escaped. Also, the venom takes some time to unfold it's effect

I’m a human & my wife literally killed me ..
7:03 I was cheering for the little ant. :)
15:13 F for our fallen soldier. I can relate bro
24:50 Really gotta appreciate the immense power required for an animal the size of a polar bear to leap straight out of the water onto an ice floe.
I'm hoping for the clip of a leopard seal hunting a penguin to be higher in the chart. The moment it throws itself on to the piece of ice after the penguin is a really shocking moment. Seeing that moment convinced me they can successfully hunt killer whales.
lol got that right!!! Us puny humans can only look on in wonder and envy.
@@wilmaknickersfit Bruh... An orca is literally 10x bigger, heavier and faster than a polar bear. 500kg vs 5 tons. Bite force is imcomparable... A bear only has a chance if the orca is somehow stranded on land
@@D-One I think they were saying that a Leopard Seal could hunt an Orca... but that would also be false as Orca are significantly larger, hunt in packs, and use some of the most advanced strategies seen anywhere in the animal kingdoms while Leopard Seals hunt alone (usually) and rely primarily on power/size advantages and ambush hunting techniques.
THAT POOR BIRD HE TRIED SO HARD HE DID SO WELL IM SO PROUD

Not really, he was just right in the way and there was no possibility in turning or slow down speed. So it was full power ahead. He would have died anyway.
The camera, the editing, the music/sound effect, everything is beyond perfect

When it comes to documentaries I don't think anyone can beat The BBC. Earth, Science, Space...you name it.
These documentaries are really masterpieces. David attenborough's fantastic voice, the magnificent camera work, the editing, just everything. These documentaries give me peace when life is being awful. I'm so grateful for them. I love them so much. Thank you BBC and the team responsible for creating these videos. And I love that you've added the titles of the documentaries the clips belong to. Gives me more for my to-buy list 😁
