I believe apple was not aiming to make a simple ev with MacOS on it, that's not their style, they want make something has really big profit margin that people are gonna pay no matter what, that something can't just be a car, Tesla and BYD are already doing that now, it should be a robot, a fully L5 automatic self-driving machine, but turned out you can't build that machine without a fully developed super powerful AI first, that's why apple abandoned it.

Thanks for this update. I bought stock in this company 2 months ago based on what was known back then. Based on the price and the specs, the SU7 is number 1 car I want to buy. What would make it perfect would be to make it a hatch back hardtop convertible with bidirectional charging. The other vehicle I would consider is one made Canoo. I also own stock in a number of other Chinese companies 2 of which are Geely and NIO. From what you have posted, I am now considering to buy more Xiaomi stock. I just wish they would pay a dividend.
It's a nice sport car, but SUV version will be more practical to drive my client. Sedan will scratch the front bumper big time if drive to any house parking drive way.

@@didzisskards7987 This thing is actually beating the Taycan Turbo, which is $200k in every metric on the performance spec sheet, we just don't know how fast it is on the track. Until very recently, Porsche was the brand where you could always justify the pricetag because of the performance and luxury (alcantara interior) it came with, so I'm not so sure Porsche fans are loyal enough to spend $150k+ on just the Porsche badge.

I think this car has the potential to become the same kind of legendary car that a Nissan GTR or a Toyota Supra was back in the day - cheap super car killers, the price of which only goes up instead of down over time.

@@universallife681the problem is that a Chinese company could be directly responsible for dozens of deaths and if they're on the good side of the CCP, legal action would be very limited and would only influence regional departments at best. There are countless of examples of Chinese companies getting away with shady or straight up illegal things because the CCP is in the way of the "legal system" Its like if in the US Boeing didn't get punished but instead every 3 letter agency did its best to censor everything about what happened. Including fighting off any legal action on behalf of Boeing.
