it'd be dumb to go around claiming it's a T-10M since we haven't even seen T-55's actually being used as tanks yet (litteraly only 1 example documented as a loss so far) it's safe to assume Russia would first use up T-55 and T-62 tanks of all variants before digging into their ww2/early post-ww2 stockpile of tanks
T-10s were kept as tank reserves (aka oh fuck our favourites just got incinerated in nuclear fire but I have a dinner date in West Berlin at 8PM level of tank for when there is literally nothing better left to reinforce with) and T-10Ms would still be in okay ish condition due to how long they were kept in active reserve up until like the 90s, so both them and T-55s/62s would be in vaguely similar shape, disregarding the fact that T-55s and 62s were kept as reserve longer or even rebuilt for export recently
@@domaxltv thing is T-55 and T-62's are way capable as tanks nowadays than T-10's are in any way. Furthermore, they're also very much upgradeable with modern tech (thermal imagery, APFSDS, ERA armor packs such as the M-1 variants) Such an upgrade does not exist for the T-10
T55s are not used as MBTs at the Front anymore by Russia, they have a huge Stock of 100mm so they use them as cheap Artillery Support Vehicels since they are better protected than modern SPGs who have max. 40 mm Armor (at the Front) while T55 have 30mm Top Armor and 220-120mm around the Turret and 100mm-60mm-40mm at the Hull Front/Side/Back. They fire 15kg HEs from 4-14km away, they know that the T55 with only Steel Armor cant do anything.. Ukraine is actually the one using T55s as Makeshift MBTs.. but even with some modernisations and ERA they are pretty much outdated by now on the Frontline.
@@Sheppart92The russians also used them as suicide car bombs, hopefully unmanned but knowing how little bunker grandpa cares about his people I wouldn't be shocked if some poor ethnic mobik or convict slave was forced to drive the thing. The video of one being sent towards Ukrainian lines only to get stopped by a mine and detonate with FAR more boom than it would if it wasn't crammed with explosives when it was hit by an ATGM. Never understood why people so often try to deflect to Ukraine using something old as a way to excuse russia, because Ukraine never sold itself as anything more than a backwater former soviet slave-state trying desperately to claw out of moscow's chains while russia acts like it is a world power capable of trading with all of NATO in a modern high-tech war. If the US had to deploy Patton tanks because they lost so many Abrams in war with Mexico everyone would be laughing at them. The fact people try to sweep the fact we have more visually confirmed russian tank losses than all but 10 other nations have tanks in total is hilarious to me, and the fact visually confirmed losses are maybe 1/3rd of actual losses (Especially if you include losses due to mechanical failure) meaning the actual number of losses is almost certainly above what even the US fields makes that even more hilarious.

Noone like redeffect to figure out which tank is a smudge of pixels ahahhaha you always impress!
The T-10 was an exceedingly fat and slow slab of steel. There is NO WAY it could've moved as fast as it did in the video.
Could be a T-64 as well, Donetsk/Luhansk guys were using them a while back, so it's not impossible.
The gun of the T-10 is more distinctive than the hull, IMO... usually also easier to see... the muzzle-brake of the D-25T series of guns really stands out, and as far as I know, the IS-series of heavy tanks were the only ones to use it.
Badass videos! Keep it up bro.
as a T-10M commander in war thunder i could say that it's very good against modern tanks 😂🇷🇺
That's because of the obvious Russian bias which ignores real life capabilities
@@Big_Caesar1 poor guy. Wanna speak about it? You need to talk out
Is that what this retarded Special Military Operation is, in fact? Just poor old Putin trying to play a more realistic version of War Chunder?
122 mm HE will damage even modern MBTs if it is a direct hit, may not be a kill but will definitely do damage. RPG-7 with 73/84mmm can knock out tanks than 122mm surely can
@@Big_Caesar1 Nyet, everyone knows t-10 is made of stalinium-titanium-carbon-fiber and can bounce any projectile thrown at it.
I think your right on calling it a t80 variant, that’s too quick for a t64 to be booting down the road. I’m an expert since I am a Russian/British Main on WarThunder 🧐
Biggest giveway that's not a T-10 is: *It's fast as fuck buoyyy!* Crew was protected by those massive balls of steel running around in the minefield like that!
Bro you rocking svardvas your outro?nice. I thought my phone was ringing for a second
It would actually be cool if it was a T-10
To me it looks like a Captured T-64BV usaly the DPR/LPR Troops uses these tanks in great numbers since they captured many of them from the Ukrainian Army when this thing kicked off in 2014 I've seen some Russians Forces use the T-64BV but in small numbers the T-64BV uses the same gun as the T-72 T-80 and T-90 so it would make sense for Russia to give captured T-64's to the DPR/LPR troops
Plot twist : Many soldiers from the ukranian military joined the separatists in 2014. Most of these tanks stayed with their owners, not " captured " in any way. That's the whole reason the then administration hired ultranationalist groups to fight in place of the defecting army.
@@Svannuta Not a bad take because In Lugansk and Donetsk Cities and in the Oblast's thier was alot of Millitary bases with T-64BV's in them so your take is not wrong
The biggest question should be why he drove over a visible mine field
Thanks, RedEffect.
I like how if it was a T 10, nobody would be surprised 💀
actually I would be surprised it wasn't sold to a museum for more then it's worth in RL war.
yeah, people eat up propaganda slop on both sides, i don't know how any sane person could actually believe T-10s are being used on the frontlines.
You must be one of those guy who a while back were sure of t34/85 being sent to the front
@@triarii217 no?
@@triarii217no, not yet
So was the tank destroyed tho?
Doesn't seem like it. However it did survive like 3 AT mines
@@saucyinnit8799cold 🥶🥶🥶
@@saucyinnit8799 these are some great news, the tanks and the crews are beasts! :)
Whatever it is it seems to tank those mines like an absolute boss. Did it get knocked out by the second one or just keep on going?
pretty sure it lost the right track on the first boom and thats why it pivoted left. if you look close when it comes out of the cloud from the mine detonation it looks like unspooled track links coming off the right side.
The Nafo bots will try to claim anything lol
Bro got uptiered💀
A lot of T10s had the turrets removed and used as static pillboxes during the 60s.
Wonderful as always
THUMBNAIL IS NEAR MY HOME
Same thing if the US Army was using the M103 today. 😂
I saw American Military use M-60's in Desert Storm
In a few frames it looks like it has the rubber screens and search light of the T-80U so it might be it or one of it's derivatives.
Good analysis!
