Thing has 1100hp maximum. This piece of machinery is a beast. Geniuses the builders are building this tractor. They built something really large that can cover a lot of the massive fields in Montana, and get the work done fast with ease. All the power it’s got it can pull large implements with ease and get the work done fast. This tractor is legendary. It’s a beast. Thing can probably cover a whole field in a day.
I'm from Brooklyn New York, never worked a day on a farm let alone even been to one. Growing up all of my friends talked sports cars, lowriders and motorcycles. I was always the odd one who loved tractors and bulldozers. Nothing puts a smile on my face more then watching these beast at work.

Nice try wannabe hipsters. No one ever thought that was odd and lots of kids loved stuff like this that there were toys made of them and cartoons. Get out of here with that fake contrived TV stereotype bullshit. Living a fake ass life smh.

“At my age I’m gonna do what I wanna do”. This is the meaning of life.
I remember my parents telling me how when they used to do vinal decals, they got the opportunity to change the decals on the Big Bud 747. Always thought that story was so cool.
The Welker Brothers would love to get their hands on that. 👍
Yep
i know right
@@benbrown5903 well most of there tractors are big buds
@@wilburromero5124 Only one 747 was ever made
But they won’t get the whole tractor it’s sitting in a junkyard rusting away with the engine gone
Just what I need for my lawn!
I drove this thing in FS19 but I really want to see or drive this monster in real life
6:04, "a lot of the weight of the tractor comes from the metal". I would've of guessed it come from the air in the tires.
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard
LMAO Darrr
R/woosh
When farmers say this they mean apposed to extra weights and ballast. BIG Bud strategy was to make an incredibly heavy framework since weight is hugely important for putting the power to the ground
Or the air in the comment section 😂
I am originally from a small farming town in Arkansas. Bill Cherry Farms bought a Big Bud from Parkin Equipment. They are as massive as they say, it was pulling two 40ft discs and covered an acre a minute,
This big tractor reminds me of the versatile and steiger tractors that were made in Canada, back in the 60's and 70's. Oh yeah.
This BIG BUD just had the worlds largest Ag tires installed. 8 Goodyear titan LSW 1400. Check out Welker farms video on it showing the wheels being installed. This tractor weighs 68 tons and she’s heading to Montana to work the fields.
I just saw it today in Montana
Growing up in Indiana, our couple acre yard backed up to a field. Corn/soybeans alternately usually. One spring mom decided to put in a nice bigger garden. We were all out there roto tilling, hoeing, swinging mattock and tined cultivator, sweatin but good. When the neighbor got to the field behind us, he just waved us away, backed in, dropped the side discs and pulled it through lickety split perfect! We offered money, but he only accepted lemonade. That's what this behemoth evokes. Kind of "put your toys away son, here's the one and done tool for this job" lol.
Back in the early to mid 80s I deliverd fuel to farms in Bakersfield, Ca and I remember seeing this behemoth working cotton fields. I well remember how monstrous it was when I first laid eyes on it. Good memories.
back when that state wasnt such a shithole. i so miss how great it was back then.
so many black people will love this tractor .

It's a shame they don't make tractors like this anymore.
Porfirio Lopez but they would be everywhere and it wouldn’t be special
It's just economically not good idea to have only 1 such a big tractor, its better to have 2 same size smaller tractors, so in case something breaks at one, the other is still working not putting whole work at halt.
They arnt needed we can do the same with a smaller tractor
@@fredrandazzo1025 with what an John Deere? 9RX lol
@@Ancalim Those smaller tractors might not have the power to operate and/or pull large equipment. The only flaw with this tractor is the lack of a three-point.
Really cool guys, thanks for sharing.
GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS THE FARMERS OF AMERICA,THAN YOU TO THE AMERICAN FARMER
Some how i think it belongs in these big fields of Montana
Its back in Montana!
What an awesome machine 😍
I was able to see it in person within the past 5 years when it was on exhibit in a museum here in Iowa. Even got my photo sitting right next to one of the tires. Couldn't believe the size. I'd hate to have to pay to replace the tires (sounded like they were custom made in the video they played at the museum).
Gorgeous!
I love this. Wish we has tractors like this in my home town.
yeah its so bad it hurts watching it haha
Yeah, if there were you would regret wishing that, they would crush your car!
That's what I call living the dream! Driving that amazing machine over that amazing landscape at the base of the mountains. Doesn't get much better than that!
How freaking cool great video I wanna drive it
Welker Farms brought me here
How could someone even afford to run such a beast? The tire cost and the fuel cost!
That is my cousin!!!!! He owns the largest tractor my cousins!!!! Well my cousins are super close friends with them!!! Can't believe it!! Found it out last month when my grandpa traveled to see us and he mentioned this
@Troy Hendrickson Farmers feed u lol. Its not like they dont do work. They're pretty much government workers at this point
the 747 is truly a master peace I love it.
Incredible machine!
I love how they say 16 cylinder turbo engine maybe the should say that there is 2 super chargers and 2 huge turbos lol
Dieselking1984..... "super chargers" and Roots Blowers, are two completely different things. Detroit Diesels use Roots Blowers, which are Positive Displacement Air Pumps.... they Do NOT compress air to build boost or, increase volumetric air pressure upon exiting the device... like a mechanically driven "Supercharger" does. Lysham type "Screw Blowers" are just one example of an actual, mechanically driven "supercharger" ("small" versions are used on Top Alcohol Dragsters & Funny Car class[TA/D & TA/FC] in NHRA Drag Racing). Another type of "supercharger" are some (re: not all) Centrifugal "blowers"... which look like the compressor half of a "Turbocharger" (exhaust flow, driven) and are also Mechanically driven... usually via various types of Belt drives... although Gear drives have also been utilized with them as well on certain industrial applications, years ago.
@Paul Robert you mean it’s a two stroke
I love the 747!!!
Now the world's largest tractor has been paired with 8 of the world's largest tires!!😯
Look into largest dump truck and wheel loaders, some of them are 13ft+ these are only 8ft i think he said
I will do that, those sound huge!
I sure don't need one but I sure want one!
Go look up the two wheel drive that was built by the brothers that build the Honeybee Swathers , SWEET .
That is very cool.
bonjour. a rien a redire cest genial, j'adore. le plus gros tracteur.
Wow this thing Cary's 4 tons of fuel. That's the same as a ford heavy duty truck with 4 doors in just fuel. That's amazing!
1000hp, 100,000lbs, 15mph top speed...Yeah I'd agree it's a work horse. What a beast!
Brett S.... No, with the rebuild and new 7025 injectors it's rated at 1100 hp at 1,800 rpm.
It should have 2 Superchargers and 4 turbochargers stock from the factory.
I didn't know a lot of metal could make a tractor heavy,,, some beast of a tractor though haha
What a beautiful tractor I have worked in the fields my whole life. I have driven tractors like John Deere, Ford's, Massey Ferguson. American tractors are the best.
Massey Ferguson is Irish/British colab company.
It is now, but not originally....
Massey Ferguson is found at Buffalo, New York.
Porfirio Lopez i like ford / john deere the most
I grew up on tractors and bulldozers. Most of the tractors I worked the fields with would look like a toy next to this monster. I always wanted to drive a tractor that big. I would settle for the next size down.
Nice one, good job guys
Man the Williams brothers are mellow ... what exactly are they growing up in Montana ?? 😁

Awesome video 👍
I seen this tractor in person years ago It is a monster.
Is this tractor still driving?
It's git a Detroit in it, there's tractor for many, many years to come.
Into the new millennium....Wow those guys must have some amazing genetics if they're going to still be here in 3000.

I worked on Rossie farms in Oildale, CA. In 1980. Never ran it, but rode along while ripping hardpan. Felt like earthquake. I ran a 450 Big Bud working cotton feilds.
Was there a young man named marlin steele when you was there
Hopefully that beautiful tractor didn't pick up any cancer causing compounds while in California.
It would be less likely to pick up cancer causing compounds in California than most other states where deregulation is king, no mater what, for the maximum profits of those that have state congress personnel on the take!
@@nightlightabcd California is a shithole joke of a failed state with a broke government, festering ghettos, shit on the streets, pee on the streets, massive pollution of the oceans and rivers, acid rain, and poverty pimp corrupt politicians who love to keep it that way while feeding braindead dumbass infantile morons such as yourself idealistic lies of a delusional uptopia. Big tractors :) I like it !
Well I could probably drive my little Kubota under the Big Bud! I read in another comment it had been retired due to the only tyre manufacturer for it going bust. Hopefully with the rate at which 3D printing is progressing, a steel belted radial (or even a graphene belted radial) will soon be an economically feasible possibility.
@Caden Papenfuss United Tire Company of Canada is bankrupt so not fake
Might be nice to revisit this comment now, ay?
Great news that new rims have been made for replacement tyres (or tires, I'm in the UK). It's rare for long term exhibits to leave museums to resume full time, productive work.

i heard titan tires are going to sponsor it to make one more set
Not sure where you got your info..you can get tires that size almost anywhere..I change tires like that everyday.. change them in underground salt mines here in New York...can get them for tractors if you need to...
gentleman, Gentleman!!..... Not sure where ANY of you get your information from!! Titan is currently manufacturing a new set of rims for the "747"..... and the new LSW tires will fit. The 800 horse power earthquake is quite big as well
Still a better tractor then Any NEW tractor no electronics B.S on that bad boy

What is the compaction like for the field how much do they way
If they had a cultivator that turned the ground better it would be worthwhile that cultivator isn't doing much cultivating
How big of a hitch pin do you have to use on one of those?
