No r34 gtr prints?
What tires is he running
Great vid Larry. I've seen a few of that guys videos on his channel & his team are awesome. I'm in Western Australia & the East Coast lads are next level. That GTR is off its chops. Thanks for sharing mate 👍🏼👌🏼🤙🏼
He definitely took offence at you comparing it to a stock R35 and decided to show you a full throttle pull 😂
😂 definitely
Acceleration on that thing is insane 😂
Larry literally cut shooting 🤣
Some seriously hard pulls, that thing digs in hard. I used to think my Saab pulled hard...nope.
Ballistic doesn't even describe it
This man just provided one of the best arguments for sequential transmissions that I've ever heard. That was a doctorate level thesis.
Yep, it really depends how you drive it. Of course you can slam through gears with no clutch with a sequential, but it's honestly not viable for a street car. The dog gears won't last if you're doing that all the time. To drive a sequential on the street regularly you gotta use the clutch, and auto rev matching can make them super smooth. Plus with a smart computer you can easily enable or disable rev matching if you want that fully "manual" experience, minus the H pattern.
Only stick is for real men
@@allgood4716 what colour is your r34?
@@pancham.b.n5667 H-pattern is the transmission of the people. Dogboxes / sequentials etc need to be rebuilt every few thousand k. They're transmissions for the bourgeoisie class..... or something. And that concludes my thesis.

There's very little remaining of the original cars when you look at these insane examples, almost nothing of the original engine or drive train remains, the chassis and body remains and parts of the awd drive system, but nearly everything else is modified with individual parts that cost more than what these cars were worth second hand 10 years ago.
I’m the 90s they weren’t anything special. They were just cool little Japanese sports cars. Peoples moms drive RX-7s daily. Of course their potential was always there.
19:14 look how fast they're passing everything outside. That acceleration is insane

I always described an uncorked RB spinning at full tilt as just being organized violence. All the hairs raise on the back of my neck at the sound of one being driven in anger!
Unbelievable. I’m so blown away, by all the out of control builds, I’ve seen come out of Australia.

Everyone wants any R34 GTR as a dream, but this is beyond that and so dope.
That is the best example of an R34 GTR I’ve seen. From the engine bay that spectacular paint and an exquisite interior. Definitely a heap of work hours and $$ spent really shows off the passion these guys have.
Having experience with high HP 2.6/2.8 liter GTR's, I cannot imagine the torque and response of a 3.6 liter RB! You can hear the deeper tones of the engine for sure, but to feel that would be so incredible.
So sick, love the info on the headlight ducts.
maybe i could 3d print it out of ABS
Pleaseeee post a video of that car on a track or something
i've watched most of your videos since the last 2 years or so, probably more. I'VE NEVER HEARD YOU SAY SO MANY TIMES "I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THAT". Great video.
19:11 the sound of this engine is absurd
Warp speed at the end looked crazy. Reminds me of the first time I saw NHRA drag racing in person, and realized, “Maybe I don’t want 1000+hp after all…400hp is plenty fast for me.”
That reaction as they went into hyperdrive 😂 19:10

This build is insane. Ultimate street car
That full throttle pull was monstrous
This is an example of one of the greatest R34's in the world!
Wow, just wow! I’ve obsessed over 34’s for most of my life, but this car really is something special. Very well built car

Holy crap, that literal warp speed right at the start! Holy crap again you are off the scale mate with that R34!
I think I remember this guy from desport DVDs back in the early 2000s. He was big into "GTR turbines" lol
You can’t ride in it without smiling? I can’t watch without smiling, says everyone watching this.
the seats are amazing, the display is really bright and popping. One of the best builds, the engine bay is clean asf, the exterior is also mint.
That is a piece of art as much as a piece of automotive history. You really can have it all, if you work hard for it!! Amazing work
Larry does it again, bringing the best of the car world. Idk what's more awesome the car or the guys who built it. That's some over the top perfection. It's like oem if oem used the best shit they could find and not cut corners with materials. Can't imagine the time and materials used. Just the time in tuning has got to be crazy.
This is an insane build! Absolutely love it!
I have been watching you take the most amazing photographs since a decade now. And I am always amazed by the level of detail and depth you show in your work. Great cover of the GTR Larry. The people who love GTR’s know about Motive guys. And there are some of the most crazy GtR builds in Australia.

Absolutely incredible build. Making power is one thing, but making power and keeping it usable is a whole different level.
These are so much rarer than the Supra Mark IV. I understand why some don't want to touch the original parts. That being said, I think this was done as well it could possibly be done.
This guy is super likable and seems genuine. Cool vid!
The blowoff valve of the RB36 is legendary. And on this??? Wow! Amazing build.
This car was down at Roll Racing Adelaide a few times and won one of the events but it wasn’t trouble free. Owner was a really nice guy and the car was beautiful. Was sad to see it sold interstate. He then bought a white Precision Racing R35 GTR once he sold this R34.

Aussie's are doing the JDM scene right! Using Turbosmart dual bypass valve on my US 18 Sti, literally needs no tuning unlike any other bov. These guys are engaged, love seeing their passion, Keep engineering amazing parts and builds!
Hello Larry Chen, I am an older guy starting to look into JDM cars. I drove Nissan trucks for many years. Currently I'm checking out a 90 NA Z32, decent price, decent shape. I watched your wide body video on the 300ZX while doing my research. I'm more a fan of the early 70's Skylines, but I wanted to pop in after visiting your website to say that your photos are incredible. I shoot, or at least did, for years but have slacked off on it. Your compositions are stunning... amazing moments. Well done, sir.
Who needs google when you have andrew hawkins the GTR king😊amazing car amazing content☺

Super clean and original build , insane...
Perfectly executed car. so impressive. I love how nicely the motel dash is integrated.
Anything and i mean anything with 1600 on a street is batshit crazy 🤣 I couldn’t even fathom it. I have a 10th anniversary edition 2003 cobra that’s making 440 to the wheels. My brother had a 2012 zr1 that puts down just over 8. I inherited the car after his untimely passing 2 years ago and the car is absolutely terrifying to drive beyond a leisurely drive but the sentimental value to me is also terrifying. I couldn’t imagine mashing through 1600.
The way they talk about cars being so regularly tuned to such a high degree in Australia makes me want to move to Australia
I love everything he has done to the car. This is probably the best ive seen
That is EASILY the nicest GTR interior I've EVER seen. Wow.. Beautifully built car, no box left unchecked.

Larry your the man! I love listening to your thoughts on different builds you are a very smart guy!!
It was going so fast that the audio messed up for one of the pulls!
Jesus...what a piece of work that is. Fair play to the person/people who installed and programmed that transmission and paddle shifters, not an easy task I'd imagine. Although they really seem to know what they are at down in Australia and I take my hat off to them for not being afraid to continue to evolve, trying new things and to keep pushing what the R34 is capable of. I suppose it helps that Australian's have known about and been getting so many Skylines imported since the R32 came on the scene. They seem to be immune to the pressure you have started to see in so many other places, trying to keep the car in cotton wool and in de-humidified garages, just concerned about not "damaging" or affecting the cars value....forgetting that what made cars like these so famous and legendary in the first place, tuning them and using them. Keep it up lads 👍
Australians have been getting skylines since the beginning prince ! All the different skylines came to Australia often with and without badge changes The RB platform came in Skyline r30-31 in Australia In 4x4 SUV’s and in the Holden commodore Not to mention the r32 33 34 (in two and 4 door) Stagea And other 4 door Nissans cars as seen in the rest of Asia we got “grey” imports until the tax laws changed Cheers
You know its going to be a good video when the opening shot is a GTR just straight getting it
I'm glad I found your Chanel. We met in 2002 at Superstreet. I had that Tangelo orange pearl 7th gen civic with the turbo kit. The one that ended up being photographed with a shopping bag stuck to my intercooler after driving through hurricane Isabel. That tour was epic!
