Glads, this is the finale of this season of Gladiators on Tour. I’m in the final fighting for the sweet 600$. Which is fun but there’s something very serious I gotta tell you in the end of the video.

    • I often serve kicks on both serves and then switch back to normal. That helps sometimes. The times when in doesn't I do two first serves if I miss the actual first serve. Though the serve is definitely a pretty easy aspect of tennis to mess up. Best way to avoid it is to serve a lot of baskets of serves

  • Best tennis I've watched you played, next weeks should help you improve a lot! Bueno español! you have a good accent! You talked about underarm serve some videos back, asking what we thought, saying some opponents would take it personal, and increase their level after that I've noticed you did it last 2 matches (only?) in match point. Why not before if it's truly a tactical move? Don't want to wake up the giant?😅. But, definitely, I think at match point it is not a tactical play but looks more like mocking your opponent. I know you will do whatever pleases you, but wanted to do what pleased me so I told you 😝. Saludos! ✌️

    • Hahahahah thanks a lot for the awesome comment! Really appreciate it first of all and secondly about the serve, well... O just felt like a matchpoint is when you least expect an underarm serve so I did it. Didn't mean to do it matches in a row, that was just a coincidence. Though, I totally understand your point. • Grish, Congrats on the win!!! You basically broke his spirit after the 1st set and you withstood his aggressive forehands / returns. Nice in roads in playing more steady and frustrating your opponent. While I was watching this vid, an idea popped in my mind and it was that it's surprising you play so well with no coach. I think with a coach you would play matches even more effectively. I know they're expensive but it might be worth it to gain some help with drilling and understanding advanced gameplay situations. I don't think Novak would be Novak without Marian. And it so happens that you mention at the end of your video that you are now working with one, haha! I hope your new coach works out for you. And another I noticed that you also happen to mention. It seems like your serves are more in the fatty areas of the court and you're not exploiting the angles you could be. I think holding would be much more easier if you developed a good first serve that slides out on the deuce side and likewise on the ad court. I honestly think this one level up would change your results drastically because a lot more pressure would be on your opponent to hold serve and it would also open up the opposite side court to hit the 2nd shot or come into the net a la Alcaraz with his wide serves against Medvedev when he rushes. You notice Novak copied Alcaraz's wide deuce serve and came in on Medvedev stealing that trick from his playbook and he won crucial points in that very important 2nd set. If there's one thing to improve on, upon your incredibly well maintained game/form, I would work on hitting with a bit more movement to angles vs a faster serve or even a flatter serve. The placement is more important than power and power might miss cue more making the 2nd serve more present. So sorry for this online observation, it's just coming from the heart, from a Grish fan 😜
