How to PROVE the Story of Yusuf is the GREATEST STORY ever
The Story of Yusuf is renowned as one of the best stories ever told. Allah specifically mentions in the Quran that the story of Yusuf is from "The best of stories".
We used one of the world's most influential books "The Hero with a Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell to prove how great the story of Yusuf is. We’re going to show you that the story of Prophet Yusuf parallels every step and every beat of the Hero’s Journey and even takes the theory to a whole new level.

As an economist and wealth planner, I beleive Prophet Yusuf's advise in 12:47-48 is the best inspiration both for designing economic policy as well as guideline for lifecycle investment. For the later, it consists three stage of investment: growth, protection and distribution. I got this inspration 21 years ago so I named my youngest son as Yusuf.
May Allah guide us all ❤
❤❤❤❤❤ Surah yousef taught me that 7 is special number. 7 7 reappear everywhere in islam. 7 times around kaba 7 times safa marawah In surah yousef if you remember the dreams he interpreted had alot of 7s. 7 ajwa hadith about rating 7 ajwa in the morning and it would protect you from magic and poison.
Assalamu alaikum. Can you explain your comment a bit more with some correlation? I want to understand your perspective a bit deeper.
I've been telling many people, for many years already that the life of every single Prophet mentioned in the Quran is a unique Hero's Journey. We could easily include the lives of many great women from Qur'an, the great men of the Cave, etc. And of course, the life stories of all the great Sahaba are real life examples of Hero's Journey. Thank you much for shedding light on this aspect of Quran, Brother!

A hero with a thousand faces by [Joseph Campbell] - thanks for sharing
I'd be interested in a similar analysis about the Sira of our Prophet (S. A. W.)
Me too! Insha-Allah
You mean Sirah Nabawiyah? I'm currently listening to Ustadz Khalid Basalamah, there are 25 videos and each video is 2hrs long
@@eatgoodlivewelllink?
Me too
These presentations don’t do any justice to the story of Yusuf AS or any of the prophets Peace Be Upon Them All
SubhaanAllah! 🥹 I learned this in English IV class this year, and my mind went the SAME direction!- Seeing how this relates to the Prophets and how each and every Muslim can be their own "hero" too!- SUBHAANALLAH! This is so COOL! ❤ I remember it was called Joseph Campbell's idea of the hero's journey. 😁
SubhanAllah The story is indeed the best of stories.
Wallahi I’m so proud of One Path for this incredible work. May Allah AWJ place Barakah in all of your present & future endeavours, In Shaa Allah
The presentation is amazing. But I have one critique. It looks like that Yusuf (A.S.) is the friend of the narrator! Not even once “alaihis salaam” or “peace be upon him” is said after the name of the prophet Yusuf (A.S) or Yakub (A.S). We should keep in our minds that prophets are the best people and chosen by Allah (swt). Edit: the narrator has said only once at 13:20.
Exactly.. V good point
13:20
Knowledge will decrease and ingnorance will increase
@@ZakRossaye Thank you. It is only once actually. But I think, most of the scholars will also agree that, we should mention the name of the prophets always with due respect. Yakub (A.S.) and all prophets…
I don’t think this presentation does any justice for the Quranic story of Yusuf AS
SubhaAllah this is amazing. More of Prophet stories please!
When the stars prostrate ….was a great book about the story of Yusuf and really breaks down the ayats
Thank you for the recommendation.
they are 11 planets, it is not correctly translated. please read the quran it self not the translation
who reached juz with yusuf today?😅
I love Surah Yusuf... recitation by the late Qari Abdul Basit Abu Samid
Recitation by Abdel Aziz sahim Amazing 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Masha'Allah
I was Just reading the story about Prophet Joseph/Yusuf (AS) its amazing
Interesting.. Alhamdulliah for Islam
I agree surat yusif has the best story, and it was my favourite surah growing up recited by sheikh Ahmed Alajmi, ma shaa allah tabark allah the largest surah i memorised is surat yusif and named my son Yusif. My norwegian friend became a muslim back in 2003, at the age of 14 or 15 and he asked me to give him surah Yusif caset (showing my age here haha).
Subhan’Allah, incredibly unique content. I’m very familiar with the Hero’s Journey theory but have never considered applying it to the story of Yusuf (AS). New perspective, Allahu Akbar!
Excellent work of narrating the story . The plot , the events , timings , characters , schemes and roles all put together by none other then the ultimate designer , producer and director - why do we fail to see the wisdom - for it is the hearts that go blind due to our own deed Excellent work done by the team that retold us the story revealed 1400 years ago - May Allah give you more barakah to do good .
Thank you for such a high-quality video!
JazakAllah for this effort One Path Network. This is so well done and well produced. Qudos to your team for the effort.l! ❤
I read it yesterday night. It's a profound story, and amazes the reader, due to its placement in the Qur'an. My key takeaway was a powerful dua in Ayah: 101 which i have noted down for myself and will use in my duas.
I love this channel and the work these brothers do Allahumma barik ❤
Thank you so much for the great content ❤
This is really peak .. i got chills too
Thank you brother for sharing us another persective about surah yusuf. It means a lot. Jazakallahukhair.
i listen to this surah everyday recited by sheik Abdallah Humeid. truly the most hearth smoothing surah, i feel like i time travel to that period and live the story so vivedly. this surah truly removes saddness.
Mashaallah, dear brothers and sisters who are behind this production, this was a beautiful thing to watch - very informative, aesthetically pleasing and easy to digest. May Allah make you steadfast on your beneficial actions. One thing I noticed is the dinging sound in the background, it was slightly distracting. But still thank you very much for your work and efforts in making this video.
Amazing video .Very informative n I will definitely use it to teach my kids.
Thats so great thanks for your efforts❤
Best KZhead channel❤❤🎉..... Keep it up brothers 💪❤❤❤

Jazakum Allah khair
so well narrated , masaAllah. sounds like one of those ted videos
I think you should put "one of the greatest stories" because our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH)'s life of also great.
No need cuz Allah himself said the story of Yusuf AS is the best of stories
Allah said it's best so it's best and "we make no distinction in any his messengers" -Quran
Mashallah
This is a beautiful video ❤❤❤ thank you for making me realise how blessed my name is
subhanallah.... Allah bless u all
Great quality content❤❤
Ma sha Allah
My name is Yusuf, but I've never felt like the name was blessed 😢
There is no proof that name anyhow impacts your "Takdeer"/ destiny. Stop being ungrateful.
Absolutely nonsense
You have the name of a Prophet
Even if u have the most beautiful name it doesn't mean you automatically be good or straight to Jannah. Perhaps, first thing to do to learn to be grateful for everything.
The prophet Yusuf is being abandoned by his older brothers, taken as a slave, seduced by his wife master, get to prison
beautiful
absolutely syukr Alhamdulillah, Quran guide for me,,
Thank you!
Great Video!
Videos like this just prove my point as to why you are amongst the top-notch elite Islamic content production channels : you literally have the most genius and creative video ideas allahumma barik
Great effort. Great content.

Subhan allah. Allah is the best of stories telling. Amazing video
Amazing, more of this, please. We have to translate Quran for people who don't know about it, in this level.
Please add cc english, i'm not a native speaker. Very apreciate for that, thank you for the video!
Thank you
Nice video editing 👌 👍
Beautiful ❤
Beautiful video, well made masha'Allah. Just a small correction, in the first verses of the surah he sees 11 planets in his dream, not stars.
I would love to see more videos of this for some of the other stories of the prophets
Very good story brother
May Allah bless you, I perfer you don’t use music in your videos
Brilliant
Masha Allah
So beautiful ❤❤❤, Subhan Allah
thanks
Jazāk Allāhu Khayran 😎😎😊😊
Very unique amazing video

Well done god bles
The life of Imam Al-Mehdi is a repeat of The Story/Life of Yusuf (as).
Spread your Shia BS somewhere else
Can you explain how and why?
Subhanallah
Ramadhan Mubarak❤❤❤❤❤
its only the surface level coverage, his story also has one of the most greatest love story in it. you completely overlooked zulekhas journey..she is my favourite part of yousuf a.s story
AWW.❤
Wallahi I am jealous (for good). I had analyzed the story of Yusuf a.s in the Campbellian thought, but I did that in Albanian in my fb account. Keep up the good work. I also did a workshop analyzing the movie Scarface (1983). We noticed many similarities between Joseph and Tony Montana, althought Joseph is a prophet and Tony is a mafia boss. For example they both have to deal with the temptation from the wife of their boss.
SubhanAllah ❤️ I am muslim from pakistan
The Quran tells that story so beautifully...
❤❤❤
Book: "The Glory of Yusuf: An Extensive Commentary on Sura Yusuf from Authentic Classical Tafsirs" comes recommended
All of our stories are planned by the greatest of planners
Zulaykha the O.G thirst trap
❤
good
Love the video, a bit too much EFX on the transitions.
SubhaanAllah, kholiqul baariul musowwir
Allahu Akbar!
I think he was the minister of provisions or minister of treasure not the cheaf minister. as my understanding to the story. Thanks for your presentation
It is the best story.
MashAllah-Who is the reciter?
If you ask Allah for Paradise, then ask Him for al-Firdaws al-A‘la…’ “Allaahumma inni as’aluka al-Firdaws al-A‘la min al-Jannah (O Allah, I ask You for al-Firdaws al-A‘la, [the highest part of Jannah])
