I believed him when he said Quran talks to you. This happened to me. I got depressed and anxious over a situation in my life and out of desperation and urge to return to Allah and Quran the first random page i opened and the verse from the two pages that were in my view, i was a bit shocked to see that Allah directly addressing my situation and my restless heart became so light that i felt Allah was watching over me and the whole thing felt like out of the millions and billions of people on earth, that very moment it was just me in the whole creation that was in limelight of Allah!

I converted to Islam at the age of 17, 42+ yrs. ago. This was a rarity in Oklahoma all those years ago. Very few people had really heard of Muslims. In school they taught us that places like Arabia & China were far off lands & we would probably never meet someone from that part of the world. (I’m totally serious. They really thought that!). Anyway, my mother was very upset that I had embraced Islam. We had a neighbor that lived on our street that was Jewish. My mother, who was Christian, complained to her, that I had become a Muslim. My mother invited her to our house , so she could try to convince me that Islam is not true! This was like 2 weeks, if that, that I had taken my Shahada, AlhamduAllah!!🤲🏻 She actually said that Aleef, Lam, Meem were the initials of the Jewish person who wrote the Quran( AlstifulAllah!!). I was such a new Muslim & I had no knowledge yet, to refute her, but my Fitrah told me that she was either lying or misinformed. I asked her why would a Jewish person do that? She tried to tell me that it was “The biggest fraud” ever perpetrated on the Arabs, ie. Muslims! I told her that I didn’t believe it, but I would take her “advice” under advisement.☺️ Of course I learned more about the Quran & Hadith as I searched for a rebuttal to her statement. But, I ended up never seeing the woman again, & I left my mother’s house shortly after, due to her trying to force me back to Christianity. She didn’t speak to me for over a year after that. I just kept asking myself, “Why this woman seemed to hate Muslims so much & why she cared so much whether I was Muslim or not?”. Of course, all these years later I have an idea of what all that was about. 😊 But that woman probably made me immediately dig deeper into Islam, than maybe I would’ve , had she not talked to me that day. It literally had the opposite effect, Subhannah Allah!! “They plan, but Allah is The Best of Planners!” & “Allah knows best!!” I enjoyed your video & your guest. Very enlightening! : )

Masha’Allah! Islam is the TRUTH because the message of it has always existed since the creation of the universe. Islam is the ONLY faith which is NOT named after a Person, a Place, or People. It’s a VERB, a way of life. All the previous Prophets in the Torah and Bible were Muslims… - The word for God in Hebrew is Eloah. This was the language of Prophet Musa (Moses) - The word for God in Aramaic is Alah. This is the language of Prophet Isa (Jesus) - The word for God in Arabic is Allah. This was the language of Prophet Muhammad. Peace and Blessings be Upon Them All. They all worshipped and prayed to the same Creator in the same way also… Moses and Aaron Numbers 20:6 6 "...they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them." Jesus Matthews 26:39 39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed" Muhammad Holy Quran 31:22 22 “And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. Adam was a Muslim so it stands that the Qur’an in Jannah is written in Arabic, that means Arabic is the language of Adam who was the first person created from clay, or nothing or dirt, contradiction in Qur’an. That means Allah invented Arabic and it was revealed over years possibly 300,000 ? In all languages but only Arabic would be the dominant language as that’s the language Adam spoke ? Make it make sense ?

As he mentioned the Quran is like a living being, it talks to you, Alhamdulillah I also felt that several times. In my sadest times some verses came to me just matching my mental situation and I felt relieved, Alhamdulillah. The true joy of life, I never felt like this before. Let's Allah help us stay in the right path with this joy. Ameen.

Apart from the great things he said about the Qur'an, unfortunately there's some bid'a in his words too. The Qur'an is not a living being. Nothing in the Qur'an and sunnah points to that as far as I know. Allah ﷻ willed him to encounter that specific ayah on the New year's. It was Allah's blessing and miracle that his reading of that particular ayah coincided with his circumstances. It's not because the Qur'an is a living being. And Allah ﷻ knows best.

I don't know what you're on about but that is true. Some people are talented teachers and others are horrible at it - the sheikh is the former. He knows enough and his delivery, likely from experience, is faultless. I am picky when it comes to teachers. School taught me a lot when it comes to awful people becoming teachers.

Many times I cry while reading ayahs of Quran., even though I didn't really know the meaning.. The power of words of Allah. Alhamdulillah.
There you say it. You don’t even know what you are reading. I read the Quran and I don’t find it perfect. First it mentions about Christians and Jews that are good and will go to paradis. Later it contradicts its saying. The story about Jesus (Isa) isn’t true. How can a “revelation” say something entirely different after at least 500 years? It can’t! How are men made? Quran says: from dust, then from clay, then from blood, from a rib, from semen (sperm). The writers of Quran debunked themselves but not knowing. Quran mentions if you have doubts of this book read previous books. There also Islam contradicts it self. A lot of Muslims read Quran but don’t even know what they are reading. Yes i am an openminded Muslim!

Their testimonies are available in the internet. I've watched many of them. Mr. Bart D Ehrman (professor in biblical study) left christianity (become atheist) after he find many discrepancies and unreliable data in the bible. Have you seen his lectures in youtube..?

I am a Muslim but not native Arabic speaker so started learning arabic language in 1980s, although I read Quran many times yet couldn't apprehend the meaning . But once I was going to Juma prayers and I heard the verse "59-21" and understood it fully and then I made firm determination to learn Arabic language to understand Quran .. AlhamdAllah, since then I had been learning Quran and now I understand the meaning of the verses without the help of translation.

its really a very strong reminder when you read the Quran and it talk to you and caught you off guard......this is why its better we ponder the Quran more while memorizing it for the sake of Allah
I understand when He says Qur'an speaks to Us. One time in 2017, I was praying my swalah at work. And I heard my supervisor and my boss talking, complaining about me. "She prays alot" and then I didn't hear the rest of their conversation . I became sad and Anxious. I had a Qur'an App that would send me One Ayah a day and one daily Hadith. When picked up my phone, this Ayah in Surah Yaseen popped up as the Ayah for that day "And Do Not be grieved by What they say, Indeed We know what they Conceal ( of speech and deeds) and whatever they disclose." I was so surprised and Amazed, I felt like Allah was talking me about my situation.
