I was looking to buy a type R and found the veloster N after looking at all the price gouging on Type Rs. It was much harder to find a Veloster for sale than the Type R which has tons on the used market, but they all wanted at least 10k more than what I got the Veloster for.

I paid approximately $77/hp for my mustang ecoboost. It was 26,000 including tax and fees, so it was somewhere in the 23,000-24,000 range for 310 ponies.

@@user-ox5ir2rd6g It's very good especially on corner exit. You can tell the Alpha 2 chassis is extremely capable. The tires that come stock with the LT1 are not the stickiest. Not bad by any means but if I really needed that edge I would swap them out. Other than that very very happy with the handling!

That Camaro V6 cost the same as a Corolla (around 140 hp) here in Argentina (the Camaro V8 I think it's over $100000 USD). It's just sad. Yes the LT1s are the cheapest bang for the buck, and noticed the pricing when I was choosing a muscle car to purchase a few years ago. Mustang was the least, and the SRT8 Challengers were the highest priced ones on the list. Which I bought, and love my Mopar. It may not be the quickest one out of them all, but it is most definitely the most true to its roots and is the best looking muscle car produced today. However with basic bolt ons and a good tune, it's quicker than a lot of muscle cars out there and runs the 1/4 in the low 12s

A horse can not provide 15 horsepower for a very long time. It might be able to pull short bursts of 15 hp, but if you use a horse to do mechanical work, in the long run it will avarage on 1 hp

yup, herpers are overrated... I would trade Hp for Torque. Driving is also about handling, braking, & grip than just straight line top speed.

Now I'm curious about cars that has the most HP but also best fuel economy.
As far as I know corvettes have a very tall 6th gear giving them insanely good fuel economy for such a massive engine.
If we are factoring in Electric Cars into the mix, the Tesla Model 3 LR AWD has 450 HP and costs $48,990 giving it $108 per HP. If you live in a place with cheap electricity, charging to full would cost around $5.
