The Veloster N is Hyundai's addition to the hot hatch market. It’s a practical, affordable, dependable car that you can daily, but that’s not what you’re here for. It’s also one of the most fun to drive performance cars out on the road today and that’s because it’s engineered so well. This obscure three-door hatchback has some BMW M-sport inspired technology hiding under the hood and today we’re going find out what makes this car so good.. We’re talking twin scroll turbos and a bunch of e-l-e-c-t-r-o-n-i-c goodies!
Some of our best videos ever are coming out soon, stay tuned so you won't miss a thing!

    • They're making cars that are above average in every single way, efficiency, power, repairability, reliability, warranty, features, handling, settling for mediocrity, which to be is 100% fine, because it's also much much cheaper than the competition, and has nothing I can say is "bad" or a "flaw" with their cars. They are a jack-of-all-trades, master of none and are the best value for just about anyone. They're a no bullshit car and not over-engineered, even there Genesis class that competes with BMW. Hyundai, they are the best all-around car if you need to commute. The velostar is a commuter that is also very fun to drive! This turbo is a gimmick but that's ok, better than some unreliable failure of a gimmick like most companies do. At least this makes this commuter car fun to drive, since it's too weak without the turbo

    • Kia gets the stinger, probably the only twin turbo v6 car from an economy brand since 300z32 (don't say honda NSX), and Hyundai gets this N. With kia's warranties, theyre pretty much infinite because of the amount of "not-recalls" they issue for clockwork-maintenance. They're excellent entry level sports cars for people who don't want to spend a fortune on a Honda or Ford hatch

New cars lose 20% of their value after the first 12 months that they’re taken off the lot. MSRP though, doesn’t usually change much during a vehicles current generation. • I love my Veloster N. I've had it for a year now and it has been the most fun car to drive, and the 22000 miles I've put on it have been comfy as well. I've driven between Canada and Pennsylvania multiple times regularly, taken a trip from PA to Colorado to Texas then back to PA, all the while leaving the car run for 24 to 40 hours at a time, no issues. I haven't even had to change the brake pads yet. I do have to say though it does not drive like an NA car. It's a lot less jerky than any other turbo FWD car I've been in or driven, and has a lot more control with less wheel hop and the turbo lag doesn't really make you lose grip, but you can definitely feel and tell when the lag ends and the turbo is spooled up, it does throw you into the seat, but what Hyundai implemented does help. It's a much more smooth transition from lowend torque to turbo spool power than a lot other turbocharged cars out there. I definitely recommend this car for anyone looking for a super hot hatch. It's cheaper than the Golf GTI, cheaper than the Civic Type-R and it's faster than them. Don't believe me? Come to my neck of the woods take a ride in mine, we'll go racing. This car has been the best experience of a car I could ever hope for with the price of 30,000 USD. Honestly. I don't work for Hyundai, I used to hate them like most every other car enthusiast. They were ugly they were gross the original Genesis was..meh, fast drift car but..meh? The first gen Velosters were ugly and slow and not fun. This one though, it has to be in my opinion the best car money can buy; if not for the fact it's the cheapest flashy-looking fun car you can buy, but the fastest, and turns the most heads. Nobody knows what this car is in the wild, not even a lot of car enthusiasts. Can't tell you how many times I've been asked "Is that an Audi?" or "Wait.. that's a HYUNDAI!?" And people who do know what it is usually know what's up and still compliment it. And for those who see it as just another hatchback with a dumb spoiler usually go bug-eyed when you rev and lift, letting out those insane pops. I've had BMWs shake their heads when I ask to race them even though their cars are way faster than the Veloster N because this car is intimidating to those who don't really know what it is because usually when you hear those sounds coming from a hatchback it means business, and this car is no slouch. My brother has an F30 body BMW that's AWD and has more power than my car and I can keep up just fine even uphill. This car goes like stink for what it is, and handles like a dream no matter what your driving style is, comfort or raw speed. Hyundai really got their shit together with this car, I have no regrets from buying it.

  • My favorite hot hatch has gotta be my custom built Mazda speed 3, built that as my first ever car, had a destroyed motor and transmission, interior was in the worst condition I'd ever seen, but I made it run, and it runs nice now, no burning oil, got a front mount intercooler and a cold air intake, catback exhaust system, tuned, sticky tires on it, light weight rims and an amazing sound system, it is so fun to drive honestly

  • As someone who owns a plain jane Veloster.. i absolutely love it! It's my 1st fianced vehicle, so my options were limited. But i recently saw an N, and needed to know what was up with it! After watching this video, the N is definitely on my list for potential newer vehicles to get. My BF owns a Hyundai Genesis coupe, and he absolutely loves it, as do i hahah. It's what made me look into getting a sporty Hyundai in the 1st place. If someone were to tell me, or him, that Hyundai/Kia would make desirable, and affordable, sports cars back in the day.. we'd laugh right in your face.
