I love how you explained this. One day my weight loss buddy and I were frustrated and wanted to know why we couldn't eat something (bad!) worth 100 calories, instead of what was suggested. Now I understand.
Love Sharzad!!
Love how Weight Watchers does all the work for you when calculating points - Kim
Great explaination
Sharzad is awesome!!! Love this vid!
This was a great video!
Agreed that one can learn "macronutritiioning" if one wants to. Most of us are a bit too lazy to do so, let alone essentials of micronutrition principles. I do think WW could and should provide more extensive explanations (e.g. whatever happened to the role of fiber that was emphasized a few years ago?) At any rate, I don't think it's fair to blame the corporation for our propensity to gain weight back. I am one of those who have watched my weight many times and not once thought to blame WW for those gains. I suspect that something in my biochemistry leads to my physical and/or psychological reasons for regaining weight. Even more likely, I just don't take responsibility for my self. The system still beats being practically hand-fed by heavily processed foods or "magic" potions and pills for weight loss. When your "cures" your cold, if you continue to not wash your hands (or take other preventive measures,) guess what? You'll catch another cold. Sorry for running on…
thank you😃.
What foods have the most smart points
Yay sharzy!!
Explain smart points in regard to weight loss a little better please
What in the world!? Sharzad!?! You go girl!
Christ.. I miss regular points from 2003. Still lost wayyy more on that plan.
"Confusing, complex nutritional information" Instead of putting it in one simple number, you should educate people about nutrition and healthy eating. Maybe that way people in the program can keep the weight off and live a healthy life if they choose to stop. "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Knowledge is greater then points.
spot on couldnt agree more
But they dont want people to learn and stop using their program... weight watchers would rather collect money from you indefinitely.
I know this is an old message that I'm responding to, but I just wanted to say that WW does teach members all of this, in depth in the meeting rooms. Nothing is kept secret. The point systems just makes it easier to make healthier choices day in and day out. Also, they give FREE membership to people to help them stay at their goal once they lose the weight so the weight does not come back.
BACON IS GOOD FOR ME
WW is not a good plan, I gainned weight as soon as I went off, I LOST, just by eating healthy, working out a size 4 BABBBYYYYYYYYY, no point to count and I was never hungry. LOL
just because this plan didn't work for you doesn't make it a bad plan. It's worked for millions and is working for me. Do whatever works for you but WW is about eating healthy and learning new habits, so they'd be happy to know you lost weight the healthy way
