I personally feel, making it to the World Cup Finals & defeating France while being part of the PSG, was a major factor for Messi..
Not just that, but his family didnt feel comfortable in france, they didnt like it. Thats why his sons didnt play at the PSG academy.
@@AllisonLorenzo-jw2ss exactly.. The way French treated Messi after he won the world cup & returned back to play for PSG was insane.. Just shows how shallow the French are..
@@jassbrar408I've searched but couldn't find something about that story on the internet. Could you please let me know where I may learn more about this story ?
i don't understand why many people still expect Messi to carry a team or achieve more great things, he's 36 years old, he won every major trophies in football, even a olympics gold medal, let The GOAT rest, while getting paid a lot of money, he deserves it.
Some people are just never satisfied.
If you are great than people except more from you again and again whether you are 36 or 37. That's all.
@@sujata450 expectation gotta be realistic
Not only did Messi win everything but he is the complete playmaker, assister and scorer.
Nobody compares with Messi . He is the only on the earth 🌎 give people happy and to be enjoy sports ⚽️. Thanks Leo Messi
Messi won everything there is to win. His legacy is unmatched, not only in football, but in all of sports. But he deserves a better team in Inter Miami. Please, build a better team around him so he could compete for all trophies.
Exactly especially the defense nothing but absolute dog water🤦🏻♂️
So true I side wit u n get rid of that coach he as no sense n knows ntn abt football the players he shud start he bench them n the ones who constantly do rubbish he uses them
I agree, thank you for speaking up @LNLBD
They have no diffence at all and yet they are convinced that they need more forwards.
Before you guys talk like that, you need to understand the structure of the league (MLS). It's a hard cap league which means that teams have a limited amount of cash they can spend on players. So, to build a strong team around Messi is very difficult. Too many rules that hinder a team like Inter Miami to bring great players to play alongside Messi. The MLS just softened a few rules that will give teams more freedom to bring more players. I'm sure Inter Miami will take full advantage of that.
Thank you Jorge más for bringing The goat to Miami and made The city of Miami well known around the world as a soccer city also God bless you and David Beckham for making this happen
❤❤we missed messi in Europe ❤i from Africa Liberia 🇱🇷
Lib all the way💯
Getting the god of football into mls was his best business deal ever ⚽️👑❤️🥳
Yes. I started watching MLS only after Messi Joined Inter Miami. Messi fans from India
Agreed but more accurately the millionaires and the handsome retired footballer are the ones who brought Messi the goat ❤
Messi accomplished everything and I am glad that he is playing it easy before he retires. Tbh, it was very well worth seeing him play at the Arrowhead stadium play against Sporting KC and they were amazing.
This move of signing Messi is such a clever biz move for Inter Miami, Apple and MLS. The impact is far reaching . Not just money wise, but also to whole football scene in the USA (where football is played wrongly. )
After his achievements people will follow him everywhere he go and will pay high price tickets to have a chance to witness his magic before he retire. After years they wont remember the score results but they will remember Messi was there
"That GOD of football" ~ Jose Mourinho about Messi ( Portuguese football coach 🇵🇹 )
Leo Messi is the greatest athlete in the history of world sports🐐
Thank you Mr. Mas…..🙏🏼God bless you
Defense Mas? I appreciate you bringing in the GOAT, but he can only take you so far, unless you have good defenders helping out
The next milestone for MLS is to have a team win the CONCACAF
Columbus can do it this year
@@SC_XOLOsno way they got lucky against tigres but Messi will no doubt get there next year
The Sounders already did

I like it when you say "building a culture of success"..that's what we all need in this life. Watching all the way from Vanuatu
Messi won everything that to win. Now he is playing coz he loves football. Don't expect Messi to run for individual awards because he already has all the prestigious awards. He has a little time left as he is 36 years old and we need to enjoy his match before the greatest footballer of all time hangs up his boots
Can't agree more!
They should bring neymar,I went to see messi play in kansas city it was a good game.
no one is stopping the MLS

American Wonderkid also spread around the Europe.. Your future is bright on football, guys..
People’s around the world watching MLS because of Messi ❤❤❤
I think Inter Miami is more interesting on making a profit on their investment with elite names instead of bringing young talent that would help the MLS and the international team. Making no substitution on the match with Monterrey gave it up for me it’s all about marketing.
It certainly looks that way
Tata Martino had a plan, Inter scores first, they play to win, with all the injured players, the many games still to play, the importance of each tournament, when they dropped the first goal, he circled the wagons and conserved his players. Intelligent move.
MLS is a joke of a league. They need to tier it down to 16/18 teams with relegation and match the Fifa calendar if they want any hope.
I think they might do that but they thought they could copy mlb
Of course it's not on top . it's 10th strongest league in the world at the moment . But I think Messi will bring more viewers to MLS than all the stars that went to Saudi Arabia including Ronaldo will bring to their league
Relegation will kill the sport in American business model. No one will invest in teams if they have fear of relegation and losing income. 2nd tier soccer is almost ignored by fans. If this sport grows bigger and grassroots accepts it then maybe relegation/promotion will work.
@@sureshuprety1540 it might actually improve the model via a free market model approach, not a stale monopoly, it'll improve the content and excitement, more attention and more ads, more stakes --- there can be parachutes for relegated teams like the premier league to not go bankrupt.
@@ShahabVaziri I don't think you really have any idea of what you're talking about when it comes to the history of the sport in the U.S. You should just focus on watching the Premier League or whatever you watch. Don't worry about MLS.
Can you please buy the Marlins and turn them into a Serious World Series Championship Contender and include Dwyane Wade or Udonis Haslam in the Ownership Group Similar to what Magic Johnson is in Los Angeles with the Dodgers it would be a Dream for the Marlins to have an owner like him please make it happen!!!!!!!!!!
Safe???😂😂😂
Forbes should look up who was involved in the deadly FIU bridge collapse and how the land for the stadium is also a real estate move rather than glorifying Jorge Mas…
Nice Mas is such n inspiration #Powerful

Personally, i think, the U.S will one day have the best football league in the world. The american attitude to be highly optimistic, hard working and throw large amount of resources on whatevere is the task.
Did that guy say Lionel Messi is being compared to David Beckam? What are you on buddy?
His father is a main reason for all Messi success. Before any club approach Messi, they should discuss with his father first. Correct me if I am wrong.
good stuff, lots of haters in the comments

Yes lots of haters

MLS is getting more and more popular and you do see more young kids in America making 'soccer' their prefered choice. However, it's going to take a long time to become the no.1 sport in the USA and be able to compete on the same level as the top European leagues. I can see soccer in the USA reach it's peak in a few years time and then, due to the slow growth, rapidly decline in popularity like it always does. The fact is that most of America just isn't interested in soccer and never will be.
genial
I loved in Miami if you have lots of money Miami is good
he should invest in better defenders too.
He rejected a billion dollar contract😭😭
the man who bring messi and made hk gov angry and feel slapped in their face.
Unless they realize they'll have shell out millions and millions for top players then it's still just a dream to be considered a top league in the world compared to the rest
Jorge Mas? Is that short for Masvidal? Father 😄
2 months out of the year is Miami actually beautiful. The rest cloudy, rainy, and windy.
Cloudy? maybe a couple of hours, I can tell you've never lived here lol
I hope Messi was given a stage in MLS itself? Cos he is bringing the whole world’s eyeballs to the US
When Messi leaves Inter Miami the MLS will go right back to the way it was.
❤
So much more to say about this. This looks like paid advertising.
No, Messi coming to the US is not like Beckham coming to the US, not even close. Beckman was a good player, Messi is an alien. And it’s going to take a lot more to make Inter Miami one of the best teams in the world.
I didnt wnat some inpirational story i wnt o know HOW he did it
He says we were hustling and doing 16 hours a day while doing Sunday golfing while one brother in dolphins and owning a construction company
Yeah, stop saying that Beckham brought Messi to MLS. Mas, his group and his money did, not Beckham.

You sick …. Real football playing bro .
Delete The footage FC😂😂😂😂why did CONCACAF make everyone delete the footage of the altercation in the locker room????🤣🤣 Monterrey player witnessed it all lol he gave a interview about it
I believe football has a better chance of succeeding in the USA than in Saudi Arabia. So all players that went to Saudi Arabia made the wrong move... well, they made it because of cash. USA is the best option
MLS needs promotion and relegation
Yep….. it’s all about money isn’t it..
If it's about money then saudi was a very lucrative deal.
messi is getting older, thats why they can afford him, he's past his peak, they couldn't afford prime messi, or prime david Beckham.
More like “ the billionaire who retired Messi” 😂
Billionaires shouldn't exist. The same for Forbes.
Such wealth, only for a few individuals should never be allowed.
Agree. As soon as they start producing too much they should shut down their factories Or let Bernie Sanders manage them

I wonder to what degree there was drug money involved in their wealth
MLS stands for MY LAST DAYS OF SOCCER !!! This league is made for t shirts sales and beer ! Not futbol !!
A wise use of his wealth. Lol
Safe lol
Lol these guys are delusional if they think the MLS is close to any team in Europe.
What a naive vision. He wants to have 15 of the best 100 players of the world in the league in the post Messi area. Yet in the Messi era they cannot attract a second top 100 player. Maybe the US socialist league system is not successful in attracting good players. I will see it coming that the league will be proudcof Reus coming this summer. But he is maybe a top 1000 player of the world but very far from the top 100 anymore. The MLS is healthy and grows economically, but they will never catch up with the Championship or 2. Bundesliga. Maybe the Russian Premier League, or Bundesliga Austria. But Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands have way better leagues when it comes to player quality because the best teams can sign the best players they want. They dont have ti care about salary cabs and such.
