    • Tom Cruise is such an egomaniac it makes me want to vomit. He always has to play some super macho super tough guy nobody can handle. He never has any other actors in his movies that could take some of the limelight. He has to have it all. One other thing I hate about his movies is all the violence. It’s a really sad state of affairs that the United States produces such twisted movies. We glorify violence in the United States. No wonder kids think it’s cool to commit violent crimes. They want to be cool like Tom Cruise, or any one of a number of other American actors who always had to be super tough super macho guys that no one can handle. What a perverted culture.

    • Yea that was a funny way to end a car chase & showing strangers helping out other strangers & the guy giving him hat off his head. Cool part is When on bus and clear of the police he returns the Hat to him, the guy smiles with a type of look: like he's thinking "I remember those days"! Or 1K different things? Everyone can interrupt it differently, something that's always good to include in movies: leaving the audience thinking what's the meaning/symbolism of 1 gesture/look/laugh?

    • @@chrisfrank2664 In real life, one of the civilians would probably tell police imo. Not all people tries to protect/hide " criminals" from police. They have no idea about the situation and from the outside naked eye, Tom is the criminal in this case. • Tom has been in great movies since the 1990''s with A Few Good Men, Born on the Forth of July and RainMan. Even in Top Gun and Jerry McGuire, he showed he was as good an actor as anyone in his generation. At almost 60, he is a long way from young and is one of the last really good actors. We won't see the likes of Tom Hanks, Richard Dreyfuss, Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, and others from that generation again because now, in order to be in a movie, they cast the most politically correct, not the best actors.

And now, 60 years later, he's still beloved. That's the lesson: Entertainers should stick to entertaining. Beyond that. nobody wants to hear it.

I could go on. I fully admit these are just opinions and differences I have with him, and you may applaud him for all these same things. But liking or not liking someone is just an opinion too, and I get to have one just like you do. Mine happens to be that he and his positions are not likable TO ME. That's all. • It's too bad people dont respect this movie seeing as though Tom Cruise is "wrong for the part." This is a smart and thrilling movie. Tom Cruise kills it as a shorter, older, leaner and meaner Jack Reacher. I almost immediately stopped seeing Tom Cruise, Ethan Hunt, Vincent or Maverick. I just saw him as Jack Reacher.
