The moment on the beach. When the Father realizes what he's done as his child walks away, when he just curls up crying, only to go and fix his mistake- I feel that. We have power to hurt people deeply without realizing it, and we can either not do anything, or learn and grow.
There's always a chance for redemption and when you do it for your loved ones, that's when it matters the most. We're so glad you liked this short story and shared your perspective too ❤️
