    • Paradoxically, Oppenheimer is both epic and intimate. It's an intimate character study but told with these big epic broad strokes and somehow SOMEHOW it worked. I don't know if it's his best film, it's definitely his best crafted film and I don't know if it's my personal favorite Nolan film (I'm always going to pop in a Batman if I want an "accessible" Nolan movie), but he's going to get some Oscar gold come next year.
