Used to a long time ago but, a lot of them unfortunately went away in the past twenty years or so. Ebay is more efficient and you don't have to pay for real estate overhead costs. Having an online store front is easier but, you don't get to interact with people as much but you still can do that. Just the way it is.
@@stevemcrichards8768 I got into collecting 1/18 diecast one year ago, and I wondered why in the US we don't have stores like these. I was curious if the overall interest in the hobby is rock bottom here in the US or if American people are not interested in the hobby as much as the Europeans are.

El Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 lo compré en Aliexpress por 130 euros aproximadamente, aquí en Chile los he visto en el market de Facebook hasta por 100 euros. Lo malo de ese vehículo y al parecer la mayoría que viene en ese tipo de cajas, es que solo abren las puertas. Creo que la pandemia dañó mucho la producción de modelos a escala, creo que la producción de Hot Wheels bajó considerablemente porque aquí en Chile son muy escasos, hasta los racionan en las compras por Internet en el supermercado (sólo 3 unidades) y de todos modos no hay a la venta.

@@DiecastDudeofficial sería genial que te dieran la oportunidad de mostrar algunos vehículos fuera de la caja, yo tengo solo ese Lamborghini Gallardo AutoArt, es más liviano que otras marcas, las versiones más económicas no tienen apertura de todo. He notado que AutoArt solo se dedica a los detalles que están a la vista, a diferencia de Minichamps que sí se preocupa de la parte inferior (aún cuando es difícil que se vean esos detalles en una vitrina). Los vehículos más costosos vienen en cajas donde no se ve el vehículo y cubiertos en poliestireno, eso al parecer es una norma que siguen todas las empresas. Hay una marca que me gusta que es Classic Carlectables y he notado que Biante fabrica vehículos muy similares, no sabría si son la misma empresa que cambió de nombre o es otra línea, cualquier información que tengas, se agradece. Sería genial que esté la traducción al español de tus videos, y en más idiomas en general. Es un gran canal, sigue así que todos disfrutamos de tus videos. Mucha suerte y saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱

What is the shipping costs from these shops to the US. I'm sure it varies but is it very expensive ? I collect the smaller 1/43 and 1/50 scale vehicles. Smaller packages...smaller prices ! Thank you for your videos. They are very informative.
The shipping is 32€ for outside europe.

Those KK Ferrari 250 GTO s look nice, especially my favourite, the blue and yellow at 16:30. But I don't collect that scale, and I don't think I could stop at one or two. But it would look good displayed on its own in the lounge instead of with my 1-43 display (which I haven't built yet)

I sadly have to disagree with your mention about minichamps being premium. They were years ago. I got a lot of 1:43 and their quality went down. Stopped collecting them and switched to spark and others. Lastly there was a special edition from a porsche and I thought I give it a try. I have never been so disappointed with a model. It had wrong colours, low detail quality and missing decals and the overall assembly quality was just poor in my opinion for the price they charge. Maybe other scales are better from them. But I have seen 1:18 scale cars that even had a marking from quality control about a defect on it when they were delivered to customer. I would be careful with their models.
I remember Minichamps as a premium brand. I did not buy any Minichamps the last 6 years. I'm planning to go to the Minichamps museum to make a video. A good place to take a closer look at the details etc
TopMarques makes absolutely gorgeous 1:18 scale cars and for how detailed and beautiful they are they're not that expensive not even close to what Exoto would cost. Top Marques is comparable to GT Spirit or AutoArt in 1:18 scale but, Top Marques is a little more niche and finely detailed like you really have to look to notice but, there's a difference for sure and those details cost time and money. I'm in conversation with a friend to go there and a Village near by called Museu do Caramulo that is one of the biggest collections of real cars in the world. But both of them don't sale.
