They do not, but every non holo has a reverse holo.

Got my binder you recommended me on your rebel clash video. Ended up doing a rip and ship of VV with a bunch of pack battles so I won almost an entire booster box of cards for $90. The 18 secret rares really make this set a tough one. Especially compared to a smaller set like Champion's Path. Also, not to mention that a lot of the secret rares are what I would consider quality cards. Pikachu VMAX, Oranguru, Obstagoon, Nessa, Bea, etc...

I'm doing my set similar to this too but I found some more exclusives. You can get holo versions of flareon, jolteon and vaporeon from a collector's set from America. You can get a holo snorlax with the vivid stamp (not the one from the prerelease kit) you can also get a non holo dialga from the corviknight vbattle deck

I am super excited for Battle Styles! That alternate art Empoleon is incredible! And I really like the Kricketune. As far as Japanese sets go, we may eventually open a box or two of a set this year (like the Eevee set), but I don't think we'll complete the whole Japanese set. We do plan on completing all English sets this year though.

Not really, we've opened a Japanese set about two years ago, but haven't since. We were really tempted to get some Shiny Star V to open, but we ended up preordering some more Shining Fates instead. Lol... I really wouldn't mind doing some opening of some this year though. I feel their sets are a lot better organized than ours sometimes.

Just got back into collecting on 01/08/22 and I'm only 43 cards away from having a master set. I opened 100 sleeved packs and got pretty lucky. My mom threw away my master sets of the very first three sets ever released when I moved out the house back In 2008. I didn't care then because at that time I had long ago stop collecting because I got older and out grew them but had I known what all those cards would be worth today I would of garded them with my life 😂😂😂 but getting my nephew a pack of vivid voltage ⚡ got me back interested with how cool and different they look from when I was little so I did a little research and a long story short.... I'm back collecting 😁 it's a fun hobby that helps me bond with my nephews and makes me feel like a kid again. So many different sets have came out since I stopped back collecting in 2003 but vivid voltage is a great place to start back. Thanks for this video and all the rest you post. It really helps me in my journey back to "collecting them all" 😂🤣😂

i've never seen or heard about it until today but there is a pokemon prize pack series 1 charizard for vivid voltage,it's no where mentioned on bulbapedia so where else can you look on for mastersets

Nice master set! Was wondering for the V cards and above, would you would use the kmc perfect fit sleeve AND the deck protector sleeves or JUST the deck protector sleeves for those? Thanks!
Thanks! For all the Ultra Rares I only use the deck protector sleeves because the Ultra Rares (mainly the full arts/secret rares) seem a little thicker than the normal commons/etc... I don't want to risk damaging the Ultra Rares by jamming them into the KMC sleeves first.
Thanks that was helpful, do you ever find the cards in the binder or the deck sleeves to curve the cards over time?
As of now, I haven't had any problems with any curving or bending, but these aren't super old cards yet. I also think the weight from the other cards will help prevent any potential curving.
Good insight, I just thought of that since I’m using the vivid voltage ETB deck sleeves for my v card and above cards in my binder set and saw how they come a bit curved and didn’t want to bend the card over time.

That's awesome. This is such a great set. There are several great cards besides the Rainbow Pikachu which always makes a set more fun to collect. The Amazing Rares just adds even more to this set.

Is there a 3rd Tornadus card??? I haven’t gotten a reverse Holo yet after opening 400 packs. I just bought a 3 card tornadus set with a vivid voltage card that’s not a Holo or reverse Holo. Came with fusion strike pack and vivid voltage pack and 3 different tornadus cards.

As you said they keep adding more cards months if not a year later to the previous sets… how do you deal with this? Do you spend hours readjusting your binders? I am trying to do a sword and shield base set master set but it seems they just keep on adding more cards
im pretty sure the penny sleeves/ perfect fit are better for the better cards because they protect them better. but thats just what ive heard from other people that do pokemon stuff.
I do like the perfect fits, but only on the non Ultra Rare cards. I'd prefer to not have such a snug sleeve on the more expensive/rare cards to help preserve them. Penny sleeves work great as well for the Ultra Rares. I just prefer the ETB sleeves as they seem to fit a little better in the binder than the penny sleeves.

Hii Mr. Mewman I'm not sure if you are aware but new reverse holos came out for v.v. from the cosco mini tins pack. Not sure if you are going to include those in your master set. It's the charmander, and the eevee with the cool reverse holo pattern
Yep, those are now included. I really like the pattern. It’s almost like a cosmos reverse holo pattern. I would definitely like to see more like those printed.

We actually only opened 10 boxes and bought the few we were missing. My guess though is it would have been 25-30 boxes if you were to pull them all.

Yeah, we definitely hope for a couple big pulls and basically all cards before the full arts. Really depends on the size of the set. We opened more Evolving Skies because there were more Full Arts & Secret Rares in the set. We like to open around 500 packs for a main set if we can.

They we in a Costco exclusive product. They also came with a Pikachu from SWSH Base and a Magikarp from Rebel Clash.

So I have a question I opened a case and only missed the full art and rainbow pikachu about how many boxes/cases did you open
We opened 9 booster boxes and got one Full Art Pikachu and two Rainbow Pikachus. We also opened two 3-pack blisters where we pulled our third Rainbow Pikachu.

Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone who has duplicates to trade. You may be able to trade a bunch of your duplicates into a local game store for credit or something though.
I’m trying to complete this set at the moment I have most of the common cards and reverse holos it’s a hunt for the full arts and rainbows mostly now. Do you have any tips on how to complete sets? Like is it better to open a few booster boxes then one of each vivid voltage items that come out then buy the rest of the cards you need?
We usually stick to booster boxes as they are usually the better deal (especially if they are preordered). And we usually avoid ETB's and single blisters. I just don't think the value is there for them. I do really like the Build & Battle Kits also though.

Yep, as long as it is one of the 360 pocket binders it will all fit. It will be super close, but it will all fit.
Im kinda new to pokemon collecting. Ive bought two booster boxs of vivid and opened them. My old lady was mad. I didn't pull what i paid for the booster. Should i keep all the special cards in hard cases. You have the in a binder. Just wondering
I've seen people do both. A lot of people like the individual top loaders and a lot like the binders. I personally like binders because they are easier to keep track of and I really enjoy just flipping through them.

Oh wow, that would be a lot cards, but also really cool. There are a few websites out there that have lists from the very first sets. Bulbapedia is a great resource for starters.

Yep, there was a Costco bundle that came with some mini tins and four cards. They were Chamander & Eevee from Vivid Voltage, Magikarp from Rebel Clash, and Pikachu from Sword and Shield Base Set. They all are reverse holos with the cosmos pattern.

The 345 includes all reverse and holos/non holos excluding any exclusives.
Do you pull everything or buy singles after you open a couple packs?
Some sets we pull them all, others we pick up the few singles we need. For Vivid Voltage we had to get just a few, but pulled 3 Rainbow Pikachu so I feel it was a good trade-off. Lol
What about the snorlax 131 stamped uk version?
I usually don't keep stamped cards in my master sets like this Snorlax or other league promos. Since they are both holos, I keep the original one in the binder. Same thing goes for the reverse holo league promos. I would keep just the normal reverse holo in the binder since that is the one you can get in the set.

what do you do with the empty pages of the binder that are left?
We usually just leave them blank.

I haven't had any issues with them in any of our binders. I do like the ones that are clear in front better than the ones that have a matte front (like the ones from Shining Fates). That's only because the matte reduces a bit of the shine from the cards.
yo man idk if you will see this but can you please give tips on how to complete sets for cheap. I really want to complete this set but I don't want to keep buying searching for individual cards
Unfortunately, as other people will say, buying singles is usually the cheapest option. If you want to open packs, I'd recommend sticking with booster boxes (compared to ETB's and single blisters). The value us usually much better and you can usually get all the basic commons, uncommons, and rares from just a box or two.
So how much does it cost to get a full set .. or close to this completed set.. just want to know how much it would cost me if I tried to work on this set!!!
I would guess this set is somewhere around $1,000. The biggest factor is how much the price on the Rainbow Pikachu fluctuates.

We make decks with some of them and then trade in the rest to a card shop for more boxes.
Just my opinion but I think putting the full arts/rainbows in those sleeves kind of hinders the beauty of them. Unless that's the look you are going for; the card borders seem to disappear in the chrome/silver sleeves whereas I prefer a hard contrast. Awesome collection.
The sleeves in this video were from the Trainer's Toolkit which have a matte finish on the front. I'm in the process of switching them out for ones that are more transparent because (as you mentioned) the matte finish on these really don't do these cards much justice.

It was some collection from Costco. It also came with two other cards from different sets.

We have all the non holo rares in here as well as the exclusive non holo rares that you get from theme decks/build & battle kits/etc.

Not exactly sure since prices for some of these ards have been all over the place. The biggest influence on this set will be the price of the Rainbow Pikachu.

Every common, uncommon, rare, and holo rare comes as a reverse holo.

Also whats pokemons motivation by releasing 2-3 variants of a card in each set? Why V and V full art? Why holo, and reverse etc ?
A lot of packs, indeed. I actually make an excel file each time a set comes out to keep up with everything. Not exactly sure why Pokemon decided to add so many variants of cards, but if I had to guess it would be to add additional rarities for people to collect (which would result in more sales for them).

The cracked theme deck holos are included and the promos are in our promo binder we have. I actually did a video on that a few weeks ago. 🙂

Vivid Voltage prices have been all over the place recently due to the rapid changes in price to the Rainbow Pikachu and the Full Art Trainers. It's maybe anywhere between $1000 - $1500 depending on the day. Lol...
