You always provide great content that is fun and educational as well. I always learn something knew about the cards or pokemon, either history or mechanics I hadn't thought of. Thank you! We started going hard on this set this weekend. I was skeptical how cool this set was going to be to open and collect. But, wow it is so much fun! Especially for my 9yo son. Our first booster box had 15 hits which was an amazing start. But, seems like everything we opened this weekend had hit after hit. I think there is just enough variety to keep it fun as well.

@@MrMewMan Agreed... Hopefully Pokemon keeps up the reverse holo slot fill for awhile. I think there are enough TG cards from vmax climax to keep it for a few sets anyways. But I was just looking at our binder and I think we are way above average on full and alt arts as well. Could be luck. We did well from a couple 3 pack blisters i bought just for the promos. But, hoping the hit rate recipe was changed a little in our favor for once. :)

Love your videos master set is truly a task and you have completed so many already! Love these videos I tell many people about your channel definitely an inspiration and no cheap task completing a master set considering how often these sets come out! I'm working on my astral radiance master set not to much more to go just some alt arts and secret rares to go havnt needed to open many packs either, a couple of booster boxes, etb and some single blisters. Keep doing what you do these are wicked collections and something you should definitely be incredibly proud of something all pokemon tcg collectors strive for! 😁👍
Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words. We have definitely seen a difference in the sets over the past 3 years or so. When the Sword and Shield block started, there weren’t that many full arts and secret rares, fast forward to now, and the sets are overflowing with them. Lol

@@MrMewMan a bit of a strange question but I'm just curious, I notice you're collection cards are always well centered, obviously never always the case when we pull them ourselves, what's your approach to getting the "binder worthy" ones? do you sell the off centered pulls and buy well centered ones? and if so where do you get them from? Also how much do you open vs just buy the singles? Thanks!
Before the next set comes out, I think you should do an update on all the master sets with all the alternate cards added into each set and an update to the promo binder as well!

I was waiting for this one! Knew it wouldn't be far off! Meanwhile I'm down here in Australia still waiting on my main order of booster boxes haha. We've had some horrible storms and flooding which has delayed all post. I've still managed to open a couple of boxes and some loose packs for retail though and put my binder together the other day - glad to see we've done the same layout! I'm currently sitting on 67% complete though, which is surprising considering I have still yet to open a case of booster boxes and a case of build and battle kits! This set is definitely looking easier to complete than previous sets. I too would be curious to hear how many packs you opened and how many cards you pulled VS what you had to buy as singles. Great work and great video as always!

Have you pulled at least any charizard cards? I heard there is 5 of those zards I've literally only pulled one witch is the v regular art! opened 11 packs so far.

I like how you have your master set in your binder. I just double up and put the standard card behind the reverse holo. I'm just to lazy to change it now LOL I'm currently working on another master set of Brilliant Stars. Need 2 more cards. This set was definitely hit-friendly.

hi im doing a master set for BS as well, and its great your video shows how u sleeve them properly and keep in binder, i have followed all the products you used, only thing can check with you do you double sleeve the hits?
For the Ultra Rares, I only use the Dragon Shield Sleeves. I don’t put them in a KMC perfect fit first.

Haha, yeah, it’s just not the same as opening the packs. For us, it’s all about finding a good balance since there’s no way we can pull all the cards from these modern sets.

Are you saying you just use the dragon shields for the secret or ultra rares? Are you also double sleeving those with KMC perfect fits? Why aren't you double sleeving the other cards?

Im also doing a master set of briliant stars. But i hope they DONT make non holo empoleon etc. since that means i have to move all cards up 1 slot, which takes a lot of time hahaha. Nice video tho! Grats on the master set :)

Here in the Netherlands we have a extra Mewtwo with the brilliant stars logo stamp. And the leafeon and glaceon aren't really promo's from brilliant stars right? The boxes didn't include BB packs. It's cool the include don't get me wrong haha!
Quick question. Should Pikachu V, Lycanroc V, Corviknight V, Espeon V, Sylveon V, Umbreon V and Arceus V (so essentially Cards SWSH 198 to SWSH 204) be included in the Promo list as well? I’m trying to complete my master set and trying to gather as many of the promos as I can while some stores have them. Anything else I am missing from my list?

Funny thing is on the other hand, with my darkness ablaze set, i'm only missing 97 cards. And from now on I've been adding all the energy cards to the end the binder .the only sets that are in 2 binders are unified minds and darkness ablaze hopefully I can compete the set aka will be maybe the first set out of my collection to comlete😅😬😾
I just opened an elite trainer box like 5 days ago and we pulled 2 holos, charizard v and Dracovish v, Houndoom character gallery and single strike style mustard and a $50 Arceus v star full art. all of them are in sleeves. Love this set but missing lots of cards I only have 1 v star right now!

It's great that they reduced the amount of different rarities. Especially the amount of full arts in general! - 4 (Rainbow) Pokémon - 4 (Rainbow) Trainers - 4 Gold Pokémon - 2 Gold Trainer cards. This should become the norm! And the TG cards are an interesting addition. Hopefully they'll keep adding those on occasion.
Looks good! Can't wait to complete this set myself. Also I've seen there's a third mewtwo card which is a stamped brilliant stars reverse card. Would this also be included in the master set? As this has the same number as the regular card (056/172) despite it being a promo.

You know, the stamped cards have always been very interesting to me. Because usually they are just a normal reverse holo, but with an extra stamp. I don’t really like the way they look in the middle of the binder so I actually just put them at the end. A great example is the GameStop Flapple from Rebel Clash.

Counted today and I am 50 cards shy of a master set. Unfortunately a lot of them are towards the end of the set 😂 with the exclusives, the one product I haven’t opened yet is the build and battle stadium and boxes. Is one build and battle stadium gonna get me all of them or is it random? First time ever getting one!
The Build and Battle Kits are all random. You’ll have to open at least two (assuming they are different) to get all the exclusives.
It seems so nice to save this series. I have it complete has cost me more than 1500 euros. can you tell me that too? would be nice for those people who think 5 or 6 booster boxes then you are about there. it cost me 14 booster boxes anyway and then the last cards, because you have so much double than already

Thanks! Yep, it came out after we completed the set, but we just put it in the back of the binder now which is what we tend to do with stamped exclusives.

Someone help me understand why some pokemon have 3 cards. He calls them non-holo exclusives but I can't see what's different from the other two or how to tell them apart.
You should add in the mew two with the logo not easy to fing but it's a really cool looking card

You miss a card. The Mewtwo Reverse Holo stamped card, which came as promo card in Belgium/Holland during the first weekend of release. :-) (I have several if you would like to have one)

How do you get master sets so fast guys? 🤣😭 I've been trying to get a master set could not focus on one set until brilliant stars, but it's nowhere where I'm at. Astral radiance will have to do or finish evolving skies
what do you think about the kmc hyper matte sleeves
I actually haven’t tried them. I decided on Dragon Shields because that’s what we use for our decks and liked them.
@@MrMewMan also do you put the perfect fit cards into the sleeve upside down so theirs no way for air to get in cause when i do that i can feel the air kinda puff up the sleeve
I put them on the normal way. With the side loading binders it really helps keep air/dirt away from the cards.

Evolving Skies and Chilling Reign are both tough with all the full arts and secret rares in the sets.

Yep, I’ll probably just add it to the end of the binder like I do with stamped cards. Not the biggest fan of stamps to be honest.
