Best way to walk out of a casino with a small fortune is to walk in with a large one.

Heheheh nicely done
Best way to become a millionaire is to be a billionaire and start an airline company.

Never take “how Vegas works” pointers from a guy who is learning how to play blackjack at age 45
I agree with you so much. They could find an more avid gambler
I totally agree. The whole concept is stupid. Thumbs down.

I was also there with these two, but can't verify if it was HIS money. I was pretty much just getting sucked off by strippers or in my hotel the whole time.

Hate gambling but I love Las Vegas! Call me a sucker for the glitzy hotels, cool vibe and OTT buffets. Even if you don’t gamble, Vegas still finds lots of ways to get your money.

Of course they spun it as a two way street, otherwise why would they give them access. But, we did get to learn a bit about the rewards cards purposes. I mean, it’s not a secret that Vegas is a losers bet.
I went to las Vegas las november, I didn't spend a dime in any gambling, I took lile 1000 photos and I ate soooooo gooood...just for the food, Vegas is so worth it
Yeah totally. Go to Vegas for the food. A v in the middle of nowhere, sure its got better food than NY, Miami, The South and the entire pacific ocean. Aren't all the best cows from the Midwest? I go to Vegas I have one or two epic meals, and the rest is for gambling and sleeping. Don't get me wrong, Vegas has great food, but its a desert, they're famous for their epic Buffets, and overpriced restaurants.
Gambling is fun if you set a limit and respect it
I used to go to gamble. Not anymore. It’s ALL ABIUT THE-FOOD. So many options.
I know what your saying about the food, even though I do gamble as well. Last trip me and the wife dropped about $700 on 3 dinners. Not something I normally do but it made the wife happy who in turn made me happy if you know what I mean.
@@chargerfan2 There are a lot of ladies in Vegas who can make you happy for $700.

You can imagine just how much other people end up spending especially the hard core gamers.
Marcus, I live in Las Vegas NV. I am a real estate entrepreneur. The more you deviate from the 3 fundamental principles of winning, the less you will win and more likely you will lose. 1. Strategy: Only play games with a strategy where your decisions or actions affect the outcome, such as poker, blackjack, and craps when you are a well-trained dice setter. 2. Leverage: Do not chase losses by increasing bets when you are losing. Only parlay your profits for positive progression using a computer-generated accurate probabilistic model. 3. Discipline: Only play as a *cold-blooded killer,* while appearing to be a stupid but lucky tourist.
Check the "About" section on my KZhead channel for my contact information.
When I visited Las Vegas last year, I really struggled with that last one. It was strange. When I was winning there was a feeling of guilt, that I had done something wrong. Have you heard of this from other people?
Throw 17 on 17 that's my shit
@TheClash122 I've not heard that exactly. I know that gambling addicts are looking to lose. I don't understand what they are thinking, maybe some kind of mental guilt trip that they think they are "not good enough" or "deserve to be punished for their sins". If anyone thinks that way, then please understand that the casinos have *zero guilt* taking all of your money and seeing you lose all of your dignity, wealth, home, and family. I am a *cold-blooded killer* in the casino, and I have *zero guilt* taking as much as legally possible from the casino. _It's not personal, only business._
@@TheClash122 When I win I feel guilty and immediately slink out of the casino, looking around as if I'll get caught for winning.
When you play roulette just follow Wesley Snipes: “Always bet on black!”
HOST: "...It felt like a house." ME: "IT IS A HOUSE."
And it always wins.
I've always loved the faux disappointment by dealers. "Oh maaan, 32 AGAIN", "Dealer has 16,18, 21 oh man!!" lol
That ending summed up gambling flawlessly hahahaha
How can a guy his age be so clueless is the only question I had when I saw this.
He's rich. Rich people don't blow money on gambling, I'd say
Yeah, but a lot of people do it for fun in their homes. Not to mention charity events love hosting play money casino nights. He's never played poker or blackjack with his buddies? I only go to Vegas once a year to eat at the upscale buffets and to play craps. I stay at hotels at about 60 dollars a night, which means that I go there only on weekdays. I only go to Main Station to play craps with $5 minimum bet and 20X odds. I also only play the PASS line and the COME line. I play max odds as much as I can, but it all depends on how I feel about the roll. Money management is important. Craps, the way I play, has the best odds against the house. My losses is limited to $700 and listed as Entertainment Expense on my budget along with my lodging, meals and fuel expenses. My total expense is about $1500, if I don't win. So far, I am ahead. Last summer, I won $1700 and paid for my fun trip. The trick is knowing when to quit when you are ahead as well as when you are behind.
No one cares bro. Keep thinking they do! 🤫

I was at Caesars in mid 90s & I remember Benny the blackjack dealer vividly...and yes, I lost that afternoon...big.
I was a Caesars Diamond player for years and always had a blast. Roulette and slots are my favorite games although I totally understand they are also among the best odds for the house. The trick with roulette is that if you bet right you can play a long time at a high average bet with minimal risk (but also limited reward). Doing so isn't going to make you a millionaire, but the entertainment is great and you can build comp points pretty quickly. I also had a host from a private company that worked with many different casinos. This allows my status at one casino brand to get me status at others I've never played at before because the host will use their relationship to "vouch" for me in advance. You have to budget and be very disciplined, but it's a great hobby.
I agree. Diamond as well, average about 85k tier points (just enough to get the cove upgrade each year at Atlantis). Video poker has a lot of back and forth as well... High limit, you can rack up 2500 points and break even on a 3-4 hour session.
They don't do those giveaways in Vegas anymore like that. Some casinos are even starting to charge for parking!!! They're all over-leveraged and deep in debt.
@@yaimavol They still do "those giveaways". Charge small fees for parking due to how big Las Vegas has grown in the last 20 to 30 years, the multiple professional sports teams in Las Vegas now (NHL-Las Vegas Golden Knights Hockey team, WNBA- Las Vegas Aces, large entertainment arenas (T-Mobile Arena) and how popular a travel destination it has become. There are also lots of hotels that don't even have a casino in it such as Trump Tower Las Vegas, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and others. Las Vegas is also a Resort destination for spas.

Comp formula , lose 10,000 get back 2000 free room and meals.
captiantim1 i really really really wish this was the formula! More like lose 10 k get free rooms and 125$ slot play!
Yeah, gambler math. They'll tell you all about their big score, but conveniently forget to tell about their long term losses, which are always much bigger. Over the long haul, the odds are about like Russian roulette with 5 loaded chambers.
They base comps on volume of play. The casino estimates your volume to $10k so it assumes you are going to lose 20% of it so their take is $2k. Of that estimated $2k they comp you 10-20% depending on your tier level.
I went to Vegas for my 21st in March of last year. Ever since, I have gotten emails for free rooms at mgm, Mandalay, New York New York and all those. I took on a comp room for one night that me and my friends decided to go last minute. Since we were there for one day I didn’t even get to play. Now all of a sudden I haven’t gotten one single email. I would get them at least once a week.

Not a smart thing to gamble. I learned the hard way. It starts as entertainment, then it becomes an addiction. I started to chase my losses, put me in a bigger hole. Until I eventually quit, and my life has turned around tremendously for the better. I’m much happier now, and not looking back. Stu Ungar won 30 million in career winnings playing poker. He gambled so much that he eventually lost every penny of it. The same hotel you seen here, Caesar’s Palace, gave him a complimentary room to live in for free. He ended up dying in Vegas at a rundown cheap motel. With a hooker and lots of cocaine on the table. Watch his documentary, pretty sad. R.I.P Stu Ungar
Russel, Wow. Thanks for the Info on Stu Unger. I like to watch the "Fun" stuff about Las Vegas but also spend time watching the Pitfalls of the town.

Craig O how many separate comments are you gonna copy/paste this on?
And finally, I lost. 😂😂
I knew that last part was waiting to happen. All dealers will make you feel like you’re on a roll then go for the kill in the end. Oldest trick in the book. No dealer is ever your friend, no matter how friendly they’re. 🤣
I wonder if it's just their jobs to keep you at the table. The game is rigged so no the longer you are there the better no matter if it appears you're winning in the short term
My first time in vegas- lost $200 on night one, lost $125 on night two, won $540 on night three. Happy as I was, I spent it all on strippers and way more on top of that. That is Vegas for you! Money never leaves the city. It just changes hands. I love this city. Every year I keep coming back and every year I spend money on gambling, strippers and food. Love it too much to ever stop.
My question is what's the average income for people working on the Vegas strip vs. the average. You gotta assume it's much higher, especially in the fields like entertainment, gambling and hospitality. These high end companies are swimming in cash, wonder how much of that truly trickles down...
dealers make minimum wage - most of their income comes from tips
@Craig O tips are considered disrespectful in some societies.
I have to say although I really don’t like gambling and I think it’s very skeezy I really appreciate the transparency of Cesar letting him in and interview these folks I don’t really think that they can say anything that makes them look good so I appreciate that they were open and let them talk to them anyway.
