Deloach vs Gallimore FULL FIGHT: July 30, 2017 - PBC on FS1

Justin Deloach and Nathaniel Gallimore faced off for bragging rights Sunday, July 30, on PBC on FS1. The two fighters went back and forth on Twitter and it all came to a head in the ring.
Deloach, the super middleweight fighter from Agusta, Ga. wanted to prove that Gallimore was all talk. Gallimore didn't believe that Deloach had any bite.
In the opening rounds, Justin Deloach outboxed his opponent, using his jab to set up combinations, but he got caught by the crafty Gallimore. At the end of round 1 he caught Deloach sending him to the canvas with a perfect left hook.
In the second, Gallimore continued to prod and poke at Deloach, constantly talking trash and sliding in uppercuts as they both fought in phone booth. Gallimore delivered some nasty hooks to the body that started to slow down his opponent. As he attacked the body, the head opened up. He saw an opportunity and struck with a lightening fast right hook almost sending Deloach through the ropes.
Deloach had flashes in rounds 3 and 4, but it was obvious that the two knockdowns were still affecting him, not to mention the blood that was now trickling down his nose.
After the 5th, all the body shots, uppercuts and hooks took their toll. The physician stepped into the ring after the 5th and stopped the fight.
Deloach was handed his second loss and Gallimore moves on to 19-1 after tonights TKO victory.

    • Yeah seems like he was Pressing for the KO to impress and neglected his defense and got CLIPPED! If your Chin is not the best then it is probably wise to avoid wild exchanges and slow down the pace of the fight! He drops his hands a lot then he remembers to put his arms back up after it is already too late. Still has A LOT of potential though but need a better trainer

    • His corner was also to blame. They just let him go nose to nose & trade punches with a puncher. Makes absolutely no sense.

  • damn i really like DeLoach... looked like he was taking the fight too personal gettin caught up in twitter beef...he was doin good but he punched himself out early and got dropped so it turned into a pattern of him fighting in energy spurts and he wass getting a lil greedy while Gallimore was calm fresher and confident

    • I think he will be fine, just lacks patients but I think that comes with experience! Still only 23 years Old so he is kinda learning on the job! Since he is still so young it would probably be best to invest in a Top Trainer even if it cost more to come and help fix his bad habits. Virgil Hunter or Derrick James would be great for him!

  • deloach has a promising future if he learns from his mistakes, don't let your opponent get inside your head, fight your fight, and that will give you the best chance at defeating the other man. gallimore is a very good inside fighter with power, he is tuff to beat.
