My son trains at his gym….. he really is the best and my son idolizes him. He is really the best. I highly recommend his gym for you or your young ones
Beautifully made! It’s an honor to be part of the Torres Martial Arts academy!
Thank you!
I just began training under Mr. Torres. Right out if the gate I found him very inspirational and charismatic. He is also a great instructor. I look forward to many years of learning from Mr. Torres.
Miguel training those old fellas with Parkinson’s is unreal. What a legend.
Miguel is a legend both inside and outside of the cage!
I woke up today and was wearing a Respect the mullet shirt I got from miguel in like 2011, at a ibjjf tournament in Cali. Lazy in bed I started looking up his record again etc. And wondered about his last fight. Stumbled open this video. I was curious how he's doing and saw this. Man what a legend. Still doing great things
Let's put some respek on the mullet 💪
Miquel was a very exciting and great fighter. My favorite of all time.
Loved Miguel in WEC, great to see he is such a kind man.
I have such fond college memories of getting together in my dorm with my friends and watching the UFC/WEC. Miguel was one of our favorites. This was an excellent trip down memory lane and happy to see that Miguel is in a good place in his life.
Miss this man. Me and thomas were his 1st students that were young
True legend in the sport. Great to see his story shared
Unbelievable documentary. Really highlights the different aspects of who Miguel is. Not just the fighter, but the community leader, coach, family man, and human being behind it all 🔥👏
Love ya, Miguel to me. You will always be the champ keep up the good work with the kids

Powerful content. Miguel is absolute legend of lower weigh classes.
I'm an amateur fighter, my dad told me about Miguel Torres and his legacy so I decided to check this documentary out. I love this perspective and hearing Miguel's story through his own words is encouraging and invigorating for those of us who wish to follow in his footsteps. These documentaries are great, man! You do not get the credit you deserve! As someone in martial arts and pursuing Sports Science in university, seeing this is such an inspiration for me.

Amazing! Wish you nothing but the best Angel! 💪🏽 ❤
Yaooooo, I’m so happy to see this upload! I inevitably come back to the interwebs once or twice a year to see if there’s any update on one of my favorite and one of the greatest, most underrated MMA Fighters of all time - Miguel Angel Torres. This time I hop on there’s a mini doc on the man! Can’t wait to watch this one. Thank to whomever put this out. I would love to see The Angel back in the MMA Scene. You can still see his style today in fighters such as Yair Rodriguez, Bruce Leeroy a bit, and many others. 👊
Wow!! I can’t believe nobody did this kinda thing before!! Amazing job!
The portion of the documentary where Miguel trains the gentlemen with Parkinson's was great, they really value the time they share.
Damn only OG fans know how great Torres was in his prime
Miguel torres thanks for the Memories
I appreciate this vid, my dude! @Ray Hui. Love Miguel in the WEC. Was really rooting for him in the UFC. Good to see he set himself up well for retirement. Thank you.

That’s very cool to have witnessed that era of Chicagoland MMA history at the Civic Center. Thanks for watching and voicing your support of my work!
Miguel seems like a cool dude and wish him the best, respect from australia
True champ, wish I could meet
Awesome doc!!!!
Amazing. Shoutout to the OG.
What an absolute legend.
Anybody who doesn't know Miguel Torres doesn't deserve to call themselves an MMA fan
Some folks haven't watch the sport as long as you or I 🤷🏾. I've been following mma since 2001
Id go there if i lived in the area! Looks like good clean fun!
Professionally made video! Really shows how Miguel passes his knowledge and passion to the next generation, while changing life's in a big way for many people. Truly enjoyed it!
Awesome video
I love this so much, Miguel Torres was such a dog
So he ended up using the Cockstrong Maverick logo afterall. Nice. He wasn't going to, guess he changed his mind. Good to see him and Marg are still doing well. Shame you didn't interview Neil, he started there after he left the Army.
RiP fighter i too have been to the cage a couple times i was a wrestler And jiu jitsu practitioner its a rush brother just to walk to the cage and all the training comes together i know how you felt ❤
Great doc for a great fighter
Great documentary!! Back when the WEC was still around Torres was my favorite fighter and completely dominant at the time. One of the most creative strikers before the likes of fighters like Mcgregor. Wish the best for him!
Thank you very much.
Good stuff!
Wow. Great video.
Awesome doc about an MMA legend. This was excellent, all around. Hope this finds its audience.
Exceptional documentary
I’m damn near in tears Miguel is not only one of the greatest fighters of all time He’s also one of the greatest humans of all time Trained with him for a couple years and this documentary is about as true to the real thing as possible ❤
The man’s a legend. One of my favorite fighters for sure. Thanks for this. Happy to see how at peace he is now.
Torrez is fat n old now . Crazy to see . He is a legend tho was a brawler/banger always brought it . Miss him
Thank you for your support.
I remember reading an interview in a magazine back in Brazil where Carlson said,'I have a Mexican fighter who can defeat anyone'.After reading that became aware of whom Torres was and started to watch all of his fights. He would have defeat Aldo in his prime.Lots of love from a Brazilian fan.I woukld love to visit his gym some day and take a picture with him!God bless you !
thats sad man, when he says "I know already" after the kid says he can beat him, just kind of sucks that he lost alot of his matches and retired like that, not the way to go out
He was great fighter. hope he"s doing well. He took damage at the end of his career but he will over come!
;)
Be nice.
People can say what they want, am sure he never got in a cage or fought professionally before. I made weight for 20 years and never missed my mark once at 135. Talk is cheap coming from a guy who never tested himself and is a keyboard warrior.
That black eye, should've been addressed. 🙄
Got jumped by ten guys in Crown Point, Indiana 2 weeks before saving my fiancé being jumped by three guys. Took out three of them but got jumped by the other seven getting knocked out and curb stomped for 2 mins. Am lucky I didn’t die or have permanent brain damage. Hope that explanation is good enough for you.
@@torresmartialartsacademy1325 Jesus, I figured it was something like that, and not caused by an accident or bad sparring.
Me n my cousin were in Albuquerque NM when he beat chase bebe to win the title man I loved this fighter. We need to change the sport so that we don't forget our great fighter n champs who gave us so much n lost everything
I remember seeing Miguel being a special fighter who captivated people by his fighting style and mindset. Even though things did not workout how he envisioned his scars are battle wounds not just from real fights but also outside of combat.
Things worked out fantastic for a long time, he was a special fighter in a league of his own, but the sport caught up with him. Great career anyway.
