This scene shows how the Yamato works on a basic level. It's interesting to see it work without virgil, it shows how it enhances a novice with the weapon, where it was hard to tell what was virgil and what was the weapon power because virgil was so seemless with it. To me it shows the insane level of mastery virgil had with the blade but also shows the strength of the blade itself.

Only reason it works with Dante and Vergil is the bloodline of Sparda aka his twin kids and grandson. Very large chest and broad shoulders, small head, long legs; DMC5 has become more realistic and these elements have been reduced. But Dante is big enough for 5.
What DMC 3 Dante design
8:03 For a brief moment Dante's carefree facade drops and you can hear the genuine concern in his voice over Nero. He acts tough, but deep down he cares for his nephew, and in this moment he was afraid he'd lost him.
For Dante, Nero was all he had left of Vergil aside from Yamoto
I love that detail. Never even considered that. Thank you 😊
Just imagine for a moment you have abilities so complex, you can aim several shots into one another from dozens of feet away, during a midair fall, into the kashiri of a katana. Probably by accelerating your perception as fast as your neurons themselves. You can predict the drop and wind-sway of bullets' trajectory perfectly, as well as their recoil compensation. Then you slow your brain back down to "normal" time. For instance, sometimes we develop dreams based on a sound waking us up. The dream may have felt like several seconds, but it only occurred during the instant your brain processed the disturbance. If our processing worked like that, we could process time hyberbolically. V.A.T.S., dead-eye, SuperHot... got nuffin on half-demon neurology.
Oh shut up. Cool sword go brrrrr
Well that's one quite fine explanation where did you get it? (I'd like to know)

I noticed a little detail that is very nice from all of this. - Vergil with Yamato needs one slash for multiple cuts. - Dante with Yamato needs multiple slashes for one cut. Its a difference in skill. Vergil have the complete mastery and power control over Yamato, and Dante doesn't (but he can still somewhat use it because he already have experience using magic demon arms before) Dante with Yamato in both gameplay and story is also slower than Vergil using the sword.
In DMC4 novel Dante himself says that his moves with Yamato are bad copies of Vergil ones.

Out of all DMC l like his look and clothes best. I do see what someone mentioned about a broad chest. His jacket looks like shoulder pads, a look accentuated by his sleeves pushed up. I just love his look. The rich well tailored, fine cloth of the entire outfit. The jacket, the shirt, the holster buckles, the red pants covered with the black chaps, the red zip up boots, its just mighty fine threads for a mighty fine hunk of a man. This action scene shows 2 of my most favorite stunts Dante landing on his sword and rising up (so sexy) and Dante using Yamato to destroy the last hell gate. The wind blowing as he does that 180 flip and pauses before he completely sheaths Yamato. On that note I have to say l was not happy with Dante or Virgil's look. The gray hair, done to represent the age difference between them and Nero. But this is my rant. Neither Trish or Lady have aged. They are the sons of a demon God & human which gives them a much longer lifespan than humans. So why were they aged with gray hair just for a timeline to fit Nero. I'm pretty sure humans can live up to 90-100, so why were they grayed and give the appearance of living their final days in hell. That aging process that they so unwisely used tends to make them out to be in their 60's perhaps. Right there that's wrong. Its depicting humans as living longer than them. So wrong on so many levels. But they can fix it in DMC 6 by way of explanation that all the demons they slay rejuvenates them physically. I really don't think the fans are going to go with a DMC 6 without Dante. No Dante no DMC. One of the ways I see 6 would be for Dante to convince Virgil to stop trying to kill him long enough for them to defend into the deepest pit of hell to rescue their father. They kill Mundus, Vergil rules hell, Dante returns with Sparta where part of the story will be a prequel to DMC. I just can't see Nero's story evolving into a repeat of Dante's story. He just found out he has a family only to shut them all out with Dante & Virgil in hell, Kirea (spelling) dying during childbirth. Nope not going to be happy about that at all. In fact it would send Nero down the same path as Virgil. But hey far be it for me as a diehard fan to tell them how to handle the next stage of their lives.
Don't make up theories if you haven't seen the Lore and just looked at the charts because the novel before The Nightmare states that Dante could live Eternally just like a pure demon if he is in his true form (his Demon form).
to be fair tho, them having light grey hair does make sense, they natural hair is white/silver so its more just the engine coloring it that way, even then the whitish hair would still make them look older then they are physically

He also holds the katana incorrectly, but again, for him, that does not matter.
Its simple, Dante darkslayer style are novice compare to Vergil
rebellion resembles freedom, unruliness, and strength yamato is more akin to preciseness, discipline, and cunning.
I like your all videos
Nice bro💛
amazing. One of your Fans.
damn... so that crazy scientist is Nico's dad
Nico! Wanna go bowling?
yeah, its makes more impactful after seeing Nico are hardcore fan of Dante. seeing the one who end her father are him.
I feel bad for him actually, he honestly doesnt know where Dante is getting so much strength from, he even pleads to Dante to learn what do demons lack and why he's not on par with him, he had the idea by Sanctus to follow the twisted beliefs to gain strength and if Dante could've told him the one word "humanity", he could've been a great asset to the cause and maybe start treating Nico better but what's done is done.
This made me understand dmc 5 more now. Thank you
Same energy as with hellsing ultimate "We have come to save you!" "Yay its the Catholic Church" "From yourselves!" "Oh no its the Catholic Church"
He also uses it in part 1 when you pick the Sparta outfit
Gotta love that Whoosh Shping! at 4:02
0:20 heard wrong and thought he said "KZhead Poopia" 🤣
I always wondered want Dante would look like using Yamato, and I wasn’t disappointed. I do wonder if he secretly always wanted to give it a few swings after DMC 3
Dante in motivation 🔥
The young and older version of yourself. This game was mad! 🤙
"You could never compare to the savior!" "And who said God would create his own problem?"
I kinda wish that Yamato was and actual weapon that Nero could switch to and use, and not just some special attack or Devil Trigger install.
what are you talking about? He has like 3 special moves for the Yamato and they're op asf.
Next: Dante vs Savior
4:05 I am the storm that is approaching.....
"holy shit, i've always wanted to try that." -Dante 'wacky wahoo pizza man' Sparda
“Dante why the fuck does my Yamato have a bullet mark on it?” “...” “Listen Vergil I had to help Nero and the-“ “God fucking damnit Dante I’m gonna kick your ass”
When you don't know about your family at all.. Your father is missing and your uncle kind of lonely wolf.. He came and he go..
When you slice many times but ends up only one slice👀
Vergil is all about refined strikes Dante is a showman who wants to look cool and have fun with it
this game had the best dante, trish and lady design.
EXACTLY
Gloria is the best Trish design. Change my mind.
Trish's? Yeah. But DMC 5 has the best Lady design. Dante always looks cool, no matter the outfits
Agreed, but in 3 Lady is more of a tomboy, which is more fitting for her I think. In 5 they're simply not them, not aesthetically and definitely not personality wise. Same for the rest, 5 was a step up graphically but a step down in style.
Nah dmc1 Trish looked the best and for lady I'd say DMC5 looks the best didn't like they gave her fat ass tits in 4 seemed out of character
Me: Yamato, lend me your strength.......
Scene is cold, i believes hes only wielded it once up to this point and he can do this. The distance from it and the weight of how hard it fell not to mention the very precise and clean back and forth five slashes with the sheath shows how well he's learned to wield this just from being on the recieving end. Sheaths without turning around 10/10 knew it was cut definitely hasnt fought his brother for nothing. Also we all know that slash he did at first went WAAAAYYYYY past the monument lets be real
The only DMC where I can use Yamato as Dante which is still cool
That raiden take murasama Sam katana be like
Vergil : All that moves are just for a single slice, foolishness Dante foolishness.
What's amazing about that scene where he cuts the hell gate in half is that he was using a variation of a traditional samurai sheathing technique.
Dante is also a storm that is approaching
would love to see vergil use the rebellion
In dmc3 he uses it tho
Sparda is pretty much Rebellion except stronger with added features. So there wouldn't be much of a difference in fighting style for Vergil.
In dmc3 battle with arkham, dante used the Yamato and vergil used the rebellion
@@onceatrash_sushi1214 i mean in some gameplay or future game if they can swap weapon LOL
@@luuhieu773 well unfortunately Rebellion already absorbed, so Vergil cannot use Rebellion anymore. yeah, if he want to use similiar Sword like Sparda, he need to ask Dante to lend him Devil Sword Dante
Id like to think in dmc5 theres a hidden dialogue that goes like this: Vergil: "Dante did you shoot yamato?" Dante:"Uhhhhhh No?..."
other videos : one cut , many slices. this vid : many cuts , 1 slice. xD HAHAHHA
Why did trish walk in like that damn
