  • Wow, I can't believe Chud would call Tammy lazy! She was the only one working and running a household. The nerve of him to say those things publicly and at her funeral. He is such a low life! 😡

    • Tammy didn't send Chud "dance videos" like Hori did 🤢 ETA: Chuds father was all about the patriarchy. In a house of all boys, their mother was literally a servant. Heather Daybell spoke about it and how Chud had no respect or relationship with his mother. I believe he felt the same about Tammy. It wouldn't surprise me if his 2 daughters are subservient little homemakers too.

    • Yes, if anyone is lazy it's Chad. Tammy carried all the weight in that family. He even disparaged her for the little time she played video games. His calling her out through Priors defense, saying she was lazy and depressed and commenting about her weight was a total projection. Not every woman can be trim, hyperactive, and uber-self-serving like Lori.

  • Prior's contemptuous and accusatory tone with witnesses really grinds my gears, but we can be grateful to him for one thing: by picking apart whatever he can, no matter how small, he is showing that he's technically 'doing his best' to provide an aggressive defense for his client. That prevents Chad from later claiming that Prior didn't do his job. If Chad had a lawyer who rarely objected, who gave limp and lazy cross examination, who didn't examine every little detail, he could claim that his counsel was giving him ineffective assistance. Chad could be granted a retrial due to 'ineffective assistance of counsel'. Prior is many things, but at least his picky and insistent style provides protection from that accusation and the potential of a retrial.

I think if you understand what an attorney has to do to cast reasonable doubt for a suspect with a mountain of evidence against them you would see he’s doing good with what he has to work with. He’s leaving a lot of room for technicality appeals later, and also to point any even small discrepancy out to plant questions in the jurors minds. All he has to do is getting them thinking it was “possible” that it wasn’t Chad. And also keep himself some loopholes for appeals. I actually think he’s a good attorney.

Congratulations, Agent Ballance, in handling this guy’s stuff. I’ll bet MG wishes she’d not fallen for CD’s con game, cause now he and his attorney are pointing the finger at her & her husband. Prior is utilizing the “Spaghetti” defense. Throw things at the wall and see what sticks. Wait a second,he’s now using the “they were having an affair” defense. Won’t work for this info. Facts are facts. CD’s device was on his property when BOTH those children were buried there … and he was texting LV throughout both. I pray the jury sees this and sends him away for life!!!!! • I think the judge should listen to some of the verification authenticity details like how cell towers work and then instruct jury later to take as evidence the details linked to thecase and evidence. Noneed for jury to go thru that

  • I think the prosecution could be doing a much better job of contradicting the "attacks" on these victims' characters. Such as JJ being a bad kid and Tammy being "lazy", especially the attacks on JJ. The prosecution just lets it go and lets the defense and/or the witnesses testimony stand without trying to rehabilitate the victims. It's just one more little thing that can bias the jury against the victims a little bit and help the defense score points. I'm not real impressed with the prosecution so far.

    • They might be allowing it cause jurors don't like it when they attack the victims or make them look bad. Basically they are letting defense hang themselves

  • Get to work, Daybell trial. The half days, partial days and days off are excessive. There is no reason for this trial to take 10 weeks. The case against Daybell is not complex, its notorious. Both sides confuse complexity and notoriety. Just try the case and stop making it as long as possible because it is being watched.
