  • Great video guys! Abbie, I love watching this type of video too( no kids yet😊). I work in labor and delivery and just wanted to give you 2 helpful tips #1 She will sleep longer with her arms swaddled in while she is little and has a startle reflex. She may fuss for a minute at first but if you can get her settled she will sleep better/longer. #2 if she is breastfeeding well at this point you don’t need to worry about nipple confusion. Keep practicing once a day with the bottle otherwise she may not take one later on. Good luck! You guys are such great parents!

  • I recommend the Nested Bean weighted swaddle! There are different types with and without sleeves. My son loves to be held and it really helps him sleep because it feels like he has arms around him.

  • Swaddling the arms is useful for when they startle themselves and when they start to scratch their faces. Research also shows it helps them feel more like their in the womb so they sleep better

  • One product I recommend if you ever decide to switch to formula is the Baby Breeza! Also start getting teething products when they start you get no warning and will want them available! Doing great mom and dad!

  • I highly recommend the frida baby 4 in 1 tool. I use it multiple times a day on my 3 month old. There’s a tool for boogies, ears, nails, and other crevices. It’s about $10. My son always has dry hard boogies that I can never get out with my finger nail. This tool is so amazing and helpful! My son never seems to mind that I’m digging for gold.

  • I would recommend moby for cooler months and as she grows you can still use it. Their are very helpful videos on how to do it. I tried it with a stuffed animal before trying to with my nephew

  • Boogie Bottoms No-Rub Diaper Rash, Spray, is what I use for rash cream. You spray it on and it doesn’t get everywhere. In my opinion

  • Better than the diaper genie is the Ubbi diaper pail. It uses regular garbage bags so it's cheaper (don't have to buy those blue bags) and it's made of metal so it locks in the smell. I had the diaper genie for my first and the open close latch broke after 9 months because it was made of plastic lol, got the Ubbi with my second and I love it

  • I’ve found it really helpful to put the clean diaper under the dirty diaper and then unwrapping the dirty diaper, cleaning the baby, and then putting the wipes in the dirty diaper. Then pull the dirty diaper out quickly and fasten the new diaper around the baby. After that you can tightly wrap the dirty diaper up and throw it away. I’ve found this has prevented a lot of pee and poop accidents on me and the furniture!
