  • Our babies are so close in age and this is EXACTLY what my life is like right now. My baby will be 3 months in 2 wks. Anytime I go to shower or work out my son balls and my husband is like I swear he knows when you leave!

    • I find that with breastfed baby's I formula fed and honestly showering wasn't to bad for me baby would just sleep I would put him in his chair and bring him in with me

  • My baby girl is 4 months old, and when I need to shower, I just put her in her bouncer in the bathroom with me, and hang her toy bar above her :) And when I put her down for bed at 7, if she wakes or stirs, I settle her in her nursery so the lights don't stimulate her and wake her up too much. Everyone does things differently though! Being a parent is far from easy!

  • Abby, I wanted to give you an advice to help with new borns it worked for three of my kids had them really close in age and I was a young mom anyway… what worked for me and this advice was given by a professional I’m not sure of the official name, first was taking them a warm bath with lavender or chamomile, then given them a massage or talk to her read a book , breast feed , and finally put a relaxing song and turning off the light of the place she’s sleeping in it will help her fall into a deeper sleep hope you take this advice into consideration it helped a lot for me, because it let me sleep and wake up with more energy I made sure I did this routine at the same time every night. I also had them nap during the day at the same time. Eventually they’ll get fuzzy at the same time every day. Again it worked so much for me and my kids,I hope it helps 🥰 with care from another mommy.

  • My baby girl is 2 days younger then Poppy... and yeah shower is a struggle.. when she starts to cry my husband would just go right into the bathroom and go like " here is your mommy" and tell me she is asking for me and to hurry up... but at last i made a routine with her she goes to sleep between 8pm and 9pm, dream feed her around 10pm and she sleeps untill 7am sometimes 8am... so most of the time my me time is when she goes down for the day🤣

  • My daughter is in this crazy routine where she sleeps for like 8 hours at night and then stays up for literally like 5-7 hours and basically cries most of the time she’s up because she’s so tired. It’s been exhausting lol.
