The Lost Pokémon Mysteries Iceberg
The Pokemon universe is filled with unsolved mysteries. In this video, I'm going to attempt to dig into some of these anomalies in the iceberg format.
This will probably be my last iceberg video, I’ll still make Pokemon content but the iceberg format leaves little room for creative expression. I have a super big Pokemon Legends Arceus video I’m working on that I’m going to release eventually and I might make videos going over some Pokemon fan games along with some more FNAF content in between.

I remember playing swsh and being floored that the random shinx i caught in the DLC area infected my team, including a shiny, with Pokérus. when I mentioned it to my dad, his first response was " omg, he has covid"

I'm mostly fascinated by the fact Arceus shows irl pics in the background while doing its thing before you can choose one of the 3 creation dragons. I mean he his a god Pokémon but it does make me wonder about what is probably the strongest 4th wall break we have seen in Pokémon imo

The fact that N may not actually exist but is a Zoroark in disguise is still a slightly creepy theory. It makes you question, in the Pokémon universe is it possible to get to know someone very well only to find out they were never a real person but a pokemon…
Considering pokemon are very obviously people, finding out a close friend wasn't human wouldn't be that difficult to parse.
Pokémon have shown full mental capacity to be sentient. This is a non-issue if you wish to remain friends with the creature

Well there is that side quest with the NPC who married a Froslass and lived with her for years until passing not knowing she was a Pokemon in Legends Arceus
@@tristanalain9239 Knowing how Frosslass typically operate, the fact she didn't eat him makes it extra sweet.
I think the floor carvings and metal plate were sent to the present by Sada and Turo. After traveling to the world they dreamed of, they figured out exactly what was going on with Terapagos' ability to bring dreams to life and found a way to send cryptic explanations back to the present.
A possible explanation for Volos age is that he was sent from the distant past to the “future” (of course, being hisui) and that would explain his plan of wanting to get back at Arceus for removing him from his time and bringing him to the future

I just think it‘s so weird that Zygarde is in Alola and only has a small appearance in Kalos… I wish they would have made Pokémon Z but oh well
I think we'll get the Pokemon Z that never was if there's ever a Legends game set in the Kalos region
Or in scarlet and violet as a dlc chapter or part of one if all the environment and eco system statements in the game are hints

I think calyrax uses its own energy to dynamax maybe since it can speed the growth crops it uses that to grow itself as its grass type but every other pokemon use the remnants of eternatus

Does arcanine not come from China? I’m like 99% sure arcanine is from China according to gen 1 EDIT: I kinda lied because I meant red/blue when I said that- BUT it’s confirmed in yellow and then Gen 2!! So gen 1.5 in a way. Gold’s Pokédex states: “This legendary Chinese POKEMON is considered magnificent. Many people are enchanted by its grand mane.” So we do have Pokémon confirmed from the China region aside from the sv legendaries.

The X and Y one plays like a creepypasta. I feel like it was merely something that was scrapped and was not supposed to sound sinister or ominous. I would think it was a nice gesture to the Pokémon creepypasta community; however, this is Game Freak we are talking about. That was something scrapped that was left in the game. Even with 1.5, the ghost Hex Trainer girl was left in as an Easter Egg due to the amount of coverage and attention it gained...or laziness. On a side note, X and Y and Black and White 1 and 2 seem to be the only games with mid- to late-teenager to young adult protagonists (i.e. visually). Now they keep making them younger. That is the scariest thing concerning Pokémon to me.
Considering Pokedex entries are supposedly written by the children who catch the pokemon it's not surprising some entries are really edgy. Also the reason why Calyrex's aura is blue is due to "blue blood" which is a phrase used to describe a royal family.

Its hard to discern what is just people's beliefs and actual truth in this universe, as Pokémon overall has a bit mediocre worldbuilding. (we don't even have an official map of the current world, and its been how many years since Pokémon exists?) For example, we can't actually know if Arceus is omnipotent or not, only that people believe him to be. Maybe he's just an extremely powerful extraterrestrial pokemon which found Earth, but not the Creator itself. A lot of pokédex entry descriptions could also be just baseless myths about certain pokemon, so its hard to differentiate what is actually real or not. The same goes for the true nature of legendary pokemon too, we don't even know how many are there from every one of them, we can only speculate :/

Arceus created mew. Mew and unknown combine and evolve into all the pokemon we know now as in one of the pokemon movies a man is turned into entie by unknown and in the lore unknown and Arceus were a split of the true Arceus
Nope. Mew created Arceus and Arceus uses Unown as the DNA and fabric for holding the world togethe.
So Mew straight up would prefer to fridge someone than get caltured...kind of respect that but at the same time, damn Mew, why nkt just go with her just so people can see she caught you and then teleport away. But nope, had to fridge her because Jessie can't have nice things. Also when was the fate of Jessie's mother revealed, like i've seen people talk about it but i don't think i've ever seen it in the anime...granted i have missed allot of episodes over Pokemon's long run time, but when was this revealed. Was it revealed on the anime or by tie-in peoducts because i'd love to see the episode or read the book.
