I loved her story. She is so beautiful and colorful. I enjoyed her vibrancy and willing to share her talent. This reminded me of my teaching years. I taught Head Start/ Early Childhood for over 31 years. When I taught my little ones, any topic could and would turn into a song. My students would sing about letters, numerals and shapes, just to mention a few topics. I loved this episode!

Cheryl Porter truly is an angel. My heart was just about broken as I watched my age creep up and my vocal ability decline. A hernia surgery one year ago seemed to be the nail that finally popped my hope balloon and then I found Cheryl Porter. Keeping it low in the diaphragm, a vocal exercise that helped me isolate the weakest area of my healing body did the trick!! After a few exercises I was getting it! Nom nom nom nom noom! Thank you Cheryl! I truly love you!
Heck yeah, it's all about that diaphragm! Until doing her exercises, I really struggled with that part. It's hard for teachers to communicate how to effectively use it for singing.
What I love so much about her is that she’s so encouraging and so full of love when teaching, you can tell it’s her passion and it’s her love.
I've been watching Cheryl for years and I tell you this woman can bring a smile to my face on my saddest day. She just radiates positivity and joy. If happiness was a person it would be Cheryl❤️. I can't sing to save my life...I wish I could haha but I watch her videos because she makes me feel good and I love how encouraging she is to all of her students. Such a beautiful soul❤.

Cheryl is incredible! I have no idea how she radiates so much energy and positivity, but I'll say this, her vocal exercises have absolutely helped me improve since I started. I had zero singing talent, and in just a few weeks I've already seen a difference. If you put in the time and dedication, you can do it. If you can speak, you can sing!

I love doing Ms Cheryl’s warmups as a singer myself in high school. I don’t have a vocal coach myself so having her warmups to do for free and coaching videos really has helped me, and she is awesome! And it helps that she’s a professional at singing!

I feel ashamed to admit I did not know of your videos prior to now. I am a vocalist that was in a band for a time. My shyness and insecurities held me back from pursuing my dreams and even doing local theater. I have 198 songs on ReverbNation some good some awful lol but I can no longer hit notes that I used to. I will surely be looking up your videos for I need proper training and at almost 59 years old, it’s never to late to keep improving. Being consistent and credible is key and Mrs. Poter has exemplifies her tanasity to her craft as an artist and vocal coach. I meet Mrs. Porter in Italy where I was also an entertainer in Naples Italy. As she stated being a singer is hard work and a lot of sacrifice... However if you have a dream live it out in real life and hone it to the fullest and the rest will follow but know it does not get easy at the top it takes just as much effort to maintain as it did to get there ... My mom was afraid too but I kept going. Thank God!!! My talent has been used more than I could have imagined. I later became a teacher because I love music so much. I get to enjoy both worlds-performing and teaching. I was blessed to produce countless shows in the Charlotte area after moving from New York. Cheryl you remind me of my vocal teachers from wayyyy back in- just more hip, fun, and challenging ❤ blessings to you and keep going

This was just lovely! I've used Cheryl's vocal workouts a lot, in my opinion they are the best! I totally recommend my personal favorites Havana vocal workout, and Zara Larsson "Symphony". But all the workouts are absolutely amazing, and very helpful!

The gift of music, share your joy pass it on to the youth its in all good music with instruments and live performancers in a recording there is a difference of what is music and what is noise and digital editing sound software for a voice that has no musical traing there is a real difference and you can hear the difference the quality is unmatched so to all enjoy your musical journey and experience the magic of the music across all your life stages and sing along to your favorite jams

I can only do her voice exercises when Im home alone (which unfortunately rarely happens 😅) I'll enter the university exam next year and if I can get a good score and go to a good university, I want to join that university's music band and I HOPE I can get to do those voice exercises with singer friends there. That's like one of my biggest dreams... It kinda seems like an impossible dream to happen to me bacause our uni exam is really hard and I have too much anxiety- I hope everything turns out well in the end though, I hope I can make one of my dreams come true like Cheryl :,D Love from Turkiye!!
