Doctor Reacts To The Magic School Bus | Anatomy Episode

The Magic School Bus was one of my favorite shows to watch in school growing up. I fondly remember several episodes that dealt with the human body and health, but can’t remember how accurate those episodes were. So, I sat down to look at Season 1 Episode 3 “Inside Ralphie” to double check Ms. Frizzle’s science and see if what we were taught as kids turns out to be true or not. In this episode we not only talk about human anatomy and the components of blood, but the differences between viral and bacterial infections, the transmission of germs, and dinosaurs ;)

  • This video isn't about the kids' show medical accuracy portrayal, it's about Dr Mike listing all the dinosaurs he knows and honestly, it's quite the collection.

  • FYI: Ms. Frizzle's lizard, Liz, is a Three Horned, or Jackson's Chameleon, scientific name, Trioceros jacksonii. She also looks reasonably accurate, given artistic license to make her fit her role in a kid's cartoon.
