  • What I like most about your channel, is finding ways to use other tools for something not originally designed to be for and then making fantastic jigs for that tool. Excellent work young man

  • This upload should get 5 thumbs up for every like - just for the choice of materials you made. I'm a fan of recycling and since I'm not a fan of laminate floors at all, for example, I kind of hate them, when they're made of plastic, since I grew up in a family of old-school craftsmen which considered real wood parquet as the non-plus-ultra. Irrespective of this, this stuff is totally spread everywhere and by thousands of "ignorant", short-sighted contemporaries who, mainly for reasons of time and financial economy, but not for ecological reasons, this "devil's stuff" slap or let slap on their floors instead of spending the money for a decent floor covering to return to. But now, instead of just dumping tons of this stuff in the trash, I'm using the stuff to construct such utilities as shown here. Surfaces are smooth without much preparation, several layers can be stacked on top of each other by surface tension with either acrylic or silicone adhesive or epoxy or probably with higher quality glue or hot glue and then cut or milled into shape. You can usually help yourself from the disposal containers when moving, changing apartments and the associated renovations after consultation with the craftsmen or owners. There's tons of material for the low-budget handyman if you swallow your pride and just act natural towards the throwaway owners.

  • Y'all do this stuff and show us how to build it and y'all have thousands and thousands of dollars worth of tools nobody has that at their disposal

    • This dude is literally using a table saw, a router, and a drill press. Most hobbyists are likely to have those things. If not, you can get budget brand versions of all three for less than $500 total. He used a lathe for a non-essential part, but you should be able to get creative enough to make a knob without one.
