The hive of the Japanese honeybee was attacked by Japanese giant hornets. However, it was possible to capture it with the sticky sheet set up.
I hope you like it!
The song is "Distant view of Factory"composed by THE SCREENTONES
which song used for the Japanese TV drama "Kodoku-no-gourmet (Solitary Gourmet)". The original soundtrack have been sold from the Chitei Records. You can get it from itunes.

Nathan Oltmans you can’t make assumptins tho
@@Usith there is a species of hornets that lay their eggs in the still living bodies of other insects, which devour them from the inside out in the slowest most painful way possible, a creature that breaks every line in our minds that it made its discoverer doubt the existence of a loving god. All hornets decapitate their victims, choosing only the fattest of the lot to take back. Hornets also know how much venom it rakes to subdue their prey, but they overfill them with it anyway to ensure a painful death. They are fucking monsters

No, the hornets had abandoned ship after they lost the moral high ground, and became disorientated, the comb itself was their link to the reality of their turf, one by one as they became detached from that, they were only then distracted and then disoriented by the strange glassy world around them. The only reason the giant stayed on point was when he stayed on the one psychological tether to his world, the paper comb, notice, he would no venture beyond it to pursue them further...
Oh, no my comment was for the 1 Japanese hornet in the glass jar with the 8 yellow jackets in the previous video, hahaha "strange glassy world" at times I'll wax philosophical to the point of Carl Sagan...

Nice appeal to nature. I guess we shouldn't use pesticides for anything. Let's take it up a notch. Pathogenic bacteria need to live, and our bodies make a good home for them. Why isnt there a screen small enough to keep hornets out and bees can still go in and out.
Right`? Very weird...
right! and weird is that bees have winterdoors which are exactly that. too small for the hornets. but in fact they are entering trough a crack.
The bees will leave to defend the hive from the threat. They won’t hole up. Skunks scratch at the hives and the bees come out to investigate even though they don’t come back they keep going out. Skunks eat em as they emerge
Hornet will eat through it.

@@sakamotoryouta Why are the entrance holes of that beehive so large? If they were smaller, the hornets couldn't get into the hive, but the bees could.
Make a remote-controlled shop vacuum with a long robotic arm to position the nozzle to suck up those hornets at the entrance to the hive. The hose should have a one-way valve to block the hornets from escaping. Once you catch all of those hornets, just vacuum up a mix of water and bleach to kill them inside the waterproof compartment. A low-tech solution is a small portable vacuum with a disposable paper bag. Attach it to a very long pole, with support if needed, and use a longer extension cord. Operate it like a boom microphone for filming a movie. Mount cameras if you want to make a new video, and then dub epic music, such as "v=O5b7tgkdFH0" [Carmina Burana, Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi (O Fortuna / Fortune plango vulnera), by Carl Orff].
That is one of the creepier things I've seen, and yet fascinating😮 Did any of your bees survive or were you able to recolonize your hive? Great video

I can't believe how much of their faces you can see! Those things are huge!
Those are Japanese giant hornets, they kill and eat bees, and their sting can melt tissue (body tissue, not paper tissue) they cause 40 deaths a year. They can grow longer than 2 centimeters, a little over 2 being the average size, this guy was brave to be even close enough to video tape such horrifying creatures
2cm? These guys are longer than 2cm. Our wasps can be around 2cms and they're not even half the size of these fuckers.
Oookay, noted. Not moving to Japan.
Jillian J They live here too bud. I almost fell off a roof when a few of these fuckers came flying around. They are huge and sound like helicopters.
Workers are actually around 3.5cm while queens can be 5.5cm. They don't live in America. None have been spotted in America and the few that have been brought here for research have all died. For some reason they can't survive over here.
spydergs07 Looked just like that!

DAVE ATTENBOROUGH
I feel no sympathy for the hornets, yet seeing them stuck in the adhesive is somewhat saddening in a weird way. You can visibly see them try to bite off the sticky bits, the music plays... it's a battlefield torn asunder, littered with corpses from both sides. The next day you see a handful still struggling, albeit pathetically. The last lone hornet in a futile attempt to chip away the wood will probably end up the same way.
I think the music added to the dramatic scene haha.
+David P Death of a living beeings is always something sad, even harmful ones.
+felix25ize Nah

It was satisfying watching the hornets get stuck
Oh, I find it much more satisfying to see them squashed, electrocuted or writhing in hideous pain from chemical spray attack than just stuck. I say, once they're stuck, begin the other methods of torture, starting with wing removal or singeing with a blowtorch.
@Steve Yeeaahh... right.... And once again it had been proofen: The human, who diagnosed himself to be the dignified beauty amongst the beasts, was himself the nastiest of all monsters. The devil might be equipped with tail, hoof and horns. But his face is human after all...
@@joschistep3442 how could anyone sympathise Hornets? They kill the very bees that have a purpose and actually provide something for nature.
@@Ithurtssobad They kill wasps as well. Also their way of hunting is awesome and interesting to watch. And they aren't as aggressive as wasps and don't climb into cans. But even if it were about ticks (and I definitely don't like those little beasts!): If you want to kill it, kill it. But why would you find it satisfying to torture a living creature to death, in the cruelest way you can think of, though it didn't do anything to you but living it's life and following it's nature? That, in my opinion, is morbid.
Burn In Hell Hornets
You sir, earned the title for being a "Real Hero"
I cannot believe how big those hornets are. Ive never seen a giant hornet before.
Bees are good insects. Wasps and Hornets can just *burn.*
The only exception being the ones who hunt spiders in Australia. They are okay
Normal hornets are good too, they kill many wasps and horseflies...
I would say any organism on our earth serves a purpose, if they had no purpose, they wouldn't exist.
When they ask me “why do you need a flamethrower?” I show them this video.
Fun fact: In the US, flamethrower ownership is unrestricted in 48 states. In order to own one in California or Maryland you need a license.
If I were there, I'd get like James Bond from the movie "Live and let Die" and turn an aerosol can into a flamethrower and fry all of those big ass wasp.
@Krishna Ammini How are you gonna miss when the hornets and the nest is in the line of fire of the flamethrower? Plus, anything it touches, it burns to a crisp.
@Krishna Ammini You just stand about 20 feet away. Once you engulf the nest in a ball of fire, NOTHING is gonna escape. Any other hornets will be disoriented.
Then they reply “OMG, do you have one for me?!”
