Introducing the most hardcore Porsche 911 of all time - the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS!
This all-new GT3 rolls up with a track-focused agenda and it just may be the greatest 911 of all time! But what’s so different from the regular GT3?
Well for starters, the exterior has a number of aero & design upgrades over the regular car. Up front, you won’t miss the huge bonnet vents and a redesigned front splitter, along with bigger vents now placed over the front wheels. Along the side, there’s a big crease in the door coupled with red decals. And around the back, well, it’s impossible to miss that HUGE rear wing!
So it looks the part, but can it perform? Well, the GT3 RS arrives with the same 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six as found in the regular GT3. However, the power output has been dialled up slightly, and as a result, the GT3 RS now produces 525hp. Porsche says it’ll hit 60mph in 3.2 seconds, but given we managed 2.8 with the regular GT3, you just know it’ll be quicker!

Yes and no. Porsche Motorsport will happily sell you an actual off the shelf race cars which is what I've seen Porsche crazies done at many track days. It may look like a track car but it is compromised unlike the 911 GT3R. Not disagreeing with you but Porsche are pretty serious when it comes to racing.

I watched now 3 different reviews on this car which were all above 18 minutes. Mat gives you all the infos in 8. thats how good he is.

Can you do a vid on what is the safe distance to drive behind an electric car for safe breaking. I know that they use the electric brake as well as the normal brakes to stop and it would be interesting to see just how much difference there is from a normal car to an electric car and the dangers of being the normal safe distance of braking to the extra space needed for safe emergency braking if you are behind an electric car. Just loved it! I was expecting more HP, not much more, but at least 30 hp more than older version.
30 hp more is easy with turbocharged engines, but hard for N/A engines, and it's even harder when that engine is almost at it's limit. This one produces 131 hp per litre, there are very few cars that can go over that figure with N/A engines

30 more is pretty much considering its a n/a with just 4 litres. squeezing more power out of an engine isnt that easy, unless it got a lot of displacement or forced iinduction
It has 526 stock but because EU regulations Porsche did a downgrade
For turbos you can just alter the pressure. For NA engines? Not that easy

Very nice, but being honest...I wish Porsche would've used the GT3 R's 4.2 block, just a bit detuned from 565 to 550 hp... Still amazing 525 hp from the 4.0, no complaints there.

There's no doubt in my mind it will be fantastic with regards to the engineering, but I just don't see a point of them. Surely they're unusable on the road and someone who could afford this would probably have a dedicated track only car? I'm not hating on Porsche, the same applies to the Pistas of the world for me aswell

It’s only 5 hp more because you can’t get any more power out of a N/A engine
The Gma t50 has 654hp from a 3.9 litre engine it’s more than possible to make a lot more hp in an NA engine.
@@nickk707 yes but that’s a cosworth engine that Revs to 13k. It will have to regularly serviced which isn’t what Porsche is going for. Plus it has twice as many cylinders
@@freddiejones4598 cylinders are irrelevant the engine capacity is basically the same, point is NA engines can make more power than 130hp per litre manufacturers just need to spend more money on the engine components.

This is the issue. The waitlist at my local dealer for a GT3 is estimated to be 4 years. Not limited production vehicles but their production is limited by supply chain issues and parts shortages

Most ppl don't consider track performance as "performance".. If it's not the fastest in a straight line.. it's "slow" or doesn't compare.. McLaren are known for engine malfunctions and Lamborghini are known for over heating transmissions. Porsche are known for speed, reliability, and pure performance over straight line speed.. And the FLAT 6👏🏽
