    @connell331@connell331 Жыл бұрын

    • @SlowlyBex I agree, I honestly don't get why people say the book romanticises abuse. Yes, the main characters is having trouble leaving her abusive partner and yes, in the beginning, she tries to excuse the behaviour. But that's the reality of domestic abuse for many people. Especially since she sells her books as romance which then creates a really problematic view on relationships especially since it’s often marketed to a younger audience.

I was bawling on the floor at the end (don't read at night kids) Also, Agustus Waters was my first fictional love. I'm sorry, but I had to use their full names, because they use them in the book.

  • one of the sweetest romances I've ever read was in a cozy fantasy called legends & lattes. I feel like folks who are married and really love their partner write that sort of affection and warmth really well. another fave was in priory of the orange tree, which was epic fantasy!

Glad to see your love for The Song of Achilles is still going strong. I picked it up because of you and loved it so much, I got a tattoo inspired by it. :)
